Did you see Yui(Our Fay, the living twin) useing the body's to help him climb the wall to his twin. Also with more body's showing up, do you think those people who died tryed to help the twins, and for that, got killed for it?

So our "Fai" is actually Yuui. Most likely Yuui blamed himself for death of Fai and took his name, pretending to be him so Fai would continue to live in a way.
The question is though, why is the real Fai beside Ashura? Is it an illusion? Could it be that real Fai actually survived the fall? It seems very unlikely, that was a nasty fall.. and lots of blood... plus if that Fai was real, he should be grown up like Yuui (our Fai)....

I say it's an illusion to freak Fay out.
In order to end the curse, the twins would either have to be locked away or one of them would have to be killed. That's what I'm getting out of the translations, anyway.
Fei Wang probably asked the same thing that old emperor asked. He said that there's a way out, and that Yuui had to choose. Yuui chose something, and Fay died. Then Ashura came to get him.
What I don't get, however, is the flashback from chapter 133, with Fay in the tower. Why would Yuui have a flashback to Fay? Unless Yuui heard the words Fay said ("I want to die.") and they had such a big impact on Yuui he remembered them...

The one who died is/was Fay. The one that was locked high in the tower was the one that died. Yui, is the Fay we know today. Yui took Fay's name. But at the moment I think we are all speculating on what reason Our Fay, took his younger/older brothers name. Also on how we spell Yui now?(Is it Yui, Yuui, Yuyi, ect..)

if i was not wrong it was said that Syaoran is Clow Reed's blood relative in the earlier chapter. If that's the case, it's a STRONGER possibility that Syaoran could be the CCS Syaoran.. and if he's Clow Reed's blood relative how can Sakura and Syaoran be together?!?!?!

I thought we'd been trough this already? If you think about it logically, there's no way R!Syaoran could be his CCS counterpart.
In the beginning of the manga, we learn that C!Syaoran and Sakura have known each other for seven years. That means that R!Syaoran must have been imprisoned for seven years or longer. Now, let's say that Syaoran currently is fifteen years old - that would mean that R!Syaoran would have been in prison since he was at least eight, but the CCS manga takes place when Syaoran and Sakura are ten years old - that is, during the time R!Syaoran was imprisoned.
See? Even CLAMP wouldn't be able to make sense of that.

Unless Magic made the Real Syaoran younger...I think RSyaoran could be CCS Syaoran, for in CCS, Syaoran had to go back to Honk Kong, for he had something to do. Time also moves differently in each other world. So being RS to Be CCSS, isn't far off. Now for the Clone Syaoran, he has no relation to anyone, other then RSyaoran, who is related to Clow Reed. CS has no real blood relations, because he is a different person all together. So CS and Sakura should have no problem. And if they are related, in which they most likely are, I'll still ship the pairing and not be uneasy about it.

Seriously, I still find it far-fetched. To me, it's seems to be a lot of wistful thinking involved in the thought that R!Syaoran could be the one from CCS (that is, that he has a soulmate waiting for him somewhere so that he won't be alone if TRC!Sakura choses the clone) - up until now, no characters from older CLAMP works have appeared in their original settings, so why would Syaoran? No, I think it's best to accept TRC for what it is; an alternate universe story that is quite complicated as it is without messing with already finished mangas' storyline.

I think the most authentic spelling of the twin's name would be 'Yuui'. That's how it's spelt in katakana in the chapter. Gosh, I still can't think of Fai as having that name. Fai is Fai (Yuui is a much prettier name, but that's beside the point). =(

i can understand what Ando-san felt about Fai's real name.. i'm explaining the happenings in the recent TRC chapters to my friends who doesn't read it that much..
and i swear! i am having troubles explaining things because of Fai and his twin's name... i was like:
"Fai, no! uh, Yuui.. uh... argh! whatever! OUR Fai...yeah! OUR FAI"
and i really have to tell them that Fai's twin's name is Fai coz i want them to know ^^;;

I just had a random thought that maybe R!Syaoran's Sakura (who maybe is CCS) died (since he does look very sad) and maybe he went dimension traveling to look for her soul or something and ended up in that dimension (somehow being little again because of the dimension's powers) and ends up being kidnapped, yada yada, gives C!Syaoran part of his heart, watches Sakura through his left eye...feels sad....er...*stops rambling* ...ignore me...
I'm confused about the name thing too...to me, Fai will always be Fai...

Yui took his brothers name Fay. That is about it for now untill CLAMP says other wise. Fushigi Yugi had the same thing, Nuriko took on the name of his dead sister "Kourin", so that she could live on, at least for him mentaly, because at that time Nuriko was not ready to let his sister go. Yui could be doing the same thing?
I'm still waiting for my...."At least your not Subaru--Fay/Yui" Shirt.

About the Syaoran debate... I have the feeling that the CCS world snd the xxxholic world is the same because Watanuki was saying that there was a Sakura and Syaoran in that world and he was wondering if he was ever going to meet them (though he might be reffering to a different S&S I have a feeling that it's CCS S&S)...
And R!Syaoran can't be CCS!Syaoran because after Syaoran's business in HK he came back at the end of the manga remember and if my estimation is righ when he came back to Tomoeda he'll be about 13-15 years old so R!Syaoran can't be CCS!Syaoran... :D R!Syaoran is either from another dimension altogether or he's the Syaoran from Clow country.....

OMG... CLAMP almost killed me when they decided to pay homage to 'The Ring' :o (I've watched the movies like 3 years ago and I'm still scared but maybe that's because I kinda went through the manga... hehehe.... :lol:)
CLAMP has gotten us (or maybe it's just me...) confused with the Fai/Yuui names... I'll refer to Yuui as Fai and Fai as Yuui since we are more used to Fai as Fai (Aw! did that make sense?) Besides everytime I say Yuui it reminds me of Yui from Fushigi Yuugi and that Yui is a girl... I say Yuui is dead because he could've grown older if he was still alive ne? Nevertheless Fai and Yuui are sooooo kawaii!!! I don't know how they can be so heartless to such cute and innocent twins!

Approx 7 years pass for clonie/real syaoran. The gang set out to collect the feathers. TRC!Syao/Sakura approx 14 years old
The ages dont match people!
Also Yuuko mentions Sakura and Syaoran back in volume 1.
We have 3 syaorans
CCS!Syaoran - in the same world as Watanuki, "this" world
Real!Syaoran - Imprisioned by FWR for most of his childhood. We dont know what world he came from, but he is a decendent of Clow and was likely raised as such. He knows the same magic as CCS!Syaoran who was also decended from clow and raised to use his magic. Likely from a world similar to that of CCS
Clone!Syaoran - Made from Real!Syaoran
Sorry if that was confusing :).
Also i find it interetsing that time passes differently in Fai/Yuui's tower. Who know how long the kids were trapped there. Yuuko also mentioned that Fai's [yuui] life is longer than normal due to his magic.
