Edit: Haha. I googled each of the actors' names, and they each look a bit like the characters. xD Sounds like live action. This could be interesting.

Theres no way takuya (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Takuya_Kimura) will take the role as shaoran. He is a pro and he is expensive! Same with Takeshi Kaneshiro (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Takeshi_Kaneshiro) and Bae yong Jun (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bae_Yong_Jun). If this casting is real ... the movie production will be needing riot-polices to keep their fangirls/fanladies (most Bae's fans are middle-aged lady) in order.

I've been lurking around NHK website and theres still no News regarding third season of TRC. The timeslot is still airing rerun of second season and hopefully it will end around first week of may. so just be patients and wait 'til further announcement from the official site.

Ditto!!! The person who did the joke was good in selecting the cast though! The guys were super kawaii and their images really fit Syaoran, Kurogane and Fai! A Live action of TRC would be really awesome! I wonder if someone in Japan is thinking about that???

ANN is not updated. I've confirm it with japanese wiki (http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%83%84%E3%83%90%E3%82%B5-RESERVoir_CHRoNiCLE-). That's a japanese web page just scroll down and you'll see a table for next anime line up in that timeslot.
NHK-E is still airing season 2 rerun in that timeslot. If you count the remaining episode... it will end probably end on the first week of may. Therefore its no way that it will air on April.
As for season three... theres no official announcement. maybe wait 'til the end of second season rerun. sequel series usually announces on that time.
As for me... better for them to delay than to have another season of filler.

My info are from NHK official site/japanese wiki page. Its reliable. The japanese wiki page is locked and protected. It mean that only people affliliate from TRC has the right to edit the page, so i think its reliable info.

Patience is the answer. Definitely not going to be out this spring/summer. I think its better for Clamp to finish their manga first before having them animated. I prefer a faithful ending than an all original open ending.

I know season 2 was............... well........... not so good, but I really miss how to watch the characters move, and talking......... but to make a better season I think is the best to beetrain to wait to have the manga very advanced or to wait to the end, that maybe is going to be at the finall of 2008 or in the begining of 2009

the COULD do season 3 AND follow NHK's stupid stupid censorship rules. it all has to do with shadows. they could hide fai's bloodied face in a shadow, and kamui slicing kuro's arm...well thats one thing they cant rteally edit, but they could do it far-away, or not really focus on it. its all possible, they just need to use mood the coreect way

I just read something awful!!!! I was watching a vid on youtube when I read a comment! It says that Clamp cancelled the show, because they didn't liked season 2!!!
You mean season 3? Its most likely cancelled. Its saying everywhere, in a radio thing for CLAMP in japan it said that season 3 for Tsubasa is cancelled. CLAMP were unsatisfied with season 2. So they cancelled it. The manga is way better so I'm not really bothered. ^^; by xemirichanx

I think its official that season 3 will not be released. I received a email from a website called Loop (a trc fansite) that said that the channel where they are broadcasting TRC will only show season 2...and nothing else. This really is a drag!

There hasn't been anything official said by Bee Train OR Clamp on this as far as I know. Until something is said by them....I really wouldn't jump to conclusions. T.V. Times change all the time too...it wouldn't be surprising for it to get switched around.
I don't know what is really going on, but until one of the places makes a definite announcement it's something I wouldn't make assumptions on. ^^

thats wht i was thinking, like with THE moment, where all the angst began... just have fai like in shadows... and close up on kuro's face when clonie shoves fai's... y'know... in his mouth. things like that. with proper lighting and angles... they'd definatly be able to do a proper anime.

Ok... I was looking through Chibiyuuto's LJ (because she usually have the most recent CLAMP news and i've given up on relying on Anime News Network) and I found something really interesting and hopeful for both TRC and XXXholic
CLAMP in 3-D LAND DEBUT! further informations
Here are some more information I was able to find, from the people who attended to the event.
- CLAMP said that XXXHOLiC can't continue before a certain "event" happens in Tsubasa, which is why the series is currently taking a rest.
- Ohkawa asked to the fans of Fye: "Even after knowing about Fye's past, are you still going to like him?"
- There will soon be a "picture adaptation" announcement from the media regarding Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC.
...And as for the "picture announcement", they mean either anime, OVA or movie. If you allow me to dream, I'd dream that this announcement is Madhouse's version of Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC (from the beginning, if possible). But I know my dream is not going to happen ._.
It could be the 3rd and 2nd seasons for Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC, respectively, or OVAs, or movies. As Hikaru Utada always say, we'll have to "wait and see" xD
She also said something about Agheda Okhawa also said in her private board:

GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!! really, I want to see the "certain event" LOL!!!!!!!!!!! but is good they did the resent nwes to the anime version info or "picture adaptation".
And that is an interesting cuestion made by Ohkawa, I'm not a super Fai fan, (I'm a Xiao fan first, then Fai and Kurogane ar in my 2nd), but this face of his past made him more interesting and starting to like him more, because Clamp ar letting us fans to know more about Fai!!!!!!

I also hope that Beetrain will quit Tsubasa and another company will take over... But as said we'll just have to wait and see.
When Ohkawa asked that question about Fay to the fans I wonder if she meant after knowing what's been reveled so far or if we'll get to know something more about Fay's past when they go to Celes, that she'll think when we find out we will stop liking him... Well for me that's not the case, I don't think I will stop liking Fay even if he would have done something really terrible in his past.
Ohkawa will write the anime script? That's good, though I don't belive that it's the script for the third season - maybe a new anime, ova or something, I mean it would be weird if beetrain's anime version took a seroius turn after all those silly fillers, though it would be better than changing the story or cencoring alot.(if they'll continue the anime, I hope not)

about fai's past...i just saw an episode of this toon called "Martin mystery"where this cute chibi-like alien named Billy...he had a terrible past...he used to be a terrible warlord to his species, huge, monstrous, untill he decided to changed and morphed into a cute alien. he was scared that when his friends found out what he was in his past that hey'd hate him, which they didnt. which is why i beeive that fai wont lost many (if any at all) fans, and kuro and syao wont hate him either =D

I asked my friend who is japanese and she said that it definitely means that 'they'll do their best making the script.'... Well, I share Chibi Yuuto's dream of the 'picture adaptation' being Madhouse's version of TRC but it might also not refer to TRC since there's another CLAMP work on the way to the anime world... But I'll keep my hopes up and believe that they are refering to Tsubasa or holic in this case...

I think season three will eventually show but not sooner than we want it to be. Clamp has a little too much on their plate right now so this to me is pretty much a hiatus. I'm sure it'll be back on.

Well I already knew that there won't be a season 3 (refer to my post with reference to chibiyuuto) but the OVA or movie (we still don't know yet) is well under way...
I found this on Chibiyuuto's LJ: ｢ツバサ｣+｢XXXHOLiC｣のメディア化脚本でいっぱいいっぱいです。
She translated it as: The script for the media adaptation of Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC is almost done. I got almost the same translation from Yahoo babel... So there's still hope.. I just hope that Madhouse will be the one doing it! I have a feeling that the Tsubasa animation is going to be the Acid Tokyo Arc....

I heard we will find out about the new Tsubasa project for an animated sceen. Not to sure what that means, could be movie, coule be OVA or OAV (Origanal Video Anime or Origanal Anime Video) by the release of the Manga book # 19 on June 15. It won't be animated by BeeTain or be on NHK programings.

I wish people would stop blaming Beetrain. NHK thought it was going to be all happy and fluffy like CCS. Beetrain is very well capable of drawing blood and angsty scenes. I hope Beetrain animates it but puts it on a different channel. I'm used to the season 1 character designs...the Movie designs were good but the coloring was all wrong and way off.

indeed. beetrain has doone more violent animes, so the only thing really to blame beetrain for is the crappy animaters and writers. they had no choice to hirethem, but atleast make it decent to look at >_<;; i probably wouldnt have minded the randome OOCness in that last episode of the library arc had kuro not look like frankenstien's monster
as for rating, most of the shows on adult swim are for ages 14 and up. (it used to be for 18 and up, but they decided to change that to 14.) and alot of the animes run that late, inuyasha, and the other animes run on saturday, are fairly violent. for a season 3 to become, it needs to be run at like 9pm or later. wwhat was TRC's original airtime, 6pm? after 8, most of the kiddies are in bed. so 9'd be the perfect airtime. the mangas rated "Older Teen" so why not the anime?

That's what I'd like to know.The manga clearly as a "T" for Teen on the front cover. But as we all know, Japanese tend to be more flexable I guess...since children's shows having bad words in it seem to be fairly large. While here, anything that had a bad word in it is automatically PG or older...

Off topic, I know.....
Its all due to different cultures. Like here in America, parents who have baths with their children is considered wrong, or cousins marrying one another, any family member, is against the law.
While over in Japan, its legal to marry within ones family, and have a bath with parents. Also with the anime and its cuss words for the Japanese, vary with different districs in Japan. Lets say your in Tokyo, and you call someone a "baka". It means dumb or idiot. While over, lets just say, Okinawa, "Baka" would me A$$. This one word, can mean different things in differnt area's of Japan.
Besides, I've seen American cartoons that sickened me "Cow and Chicken". That shock me they are even able to be shown on children's network. So seeing a bloodyer Tsubasa would rule.

While I know they were under network restrictions, they still had some major lapses in animation quality during the third season. There's plenty of screencaps for evidence, I won't bother to post my own. They also lacked a creativity in their fillers, often reusing the same tired crossovers and occasionally worlds, time and time again. =/
The fact that the Tokyo Arc didn't happen is just one more annoyance on top of that, so even though it wasn't really their fault, people just lump the anime's lack of success on Bee Train. I doubt they'd get the chance to animate TRC again, though, as they might be expected to follow the same "Child-friendly" standards, or something, regardless of channel.

what they did: use new magic to save everyone's life with new magic, dodge the subject because theyre still on the run from the law, end up getting THANKED for stealing (WTF with that....) and end up in a wrold theyve been to before with a new name -_- end up in another world where everyone acts aganst their character, include crap-imation (kinda glad with this that they didnt go to tokyo...Kamui is drool worthy, subaru is cute and Fuma's cool looking.... to see them turned into dog-crap would be a crime agaisnt humanity.(and sanity))
beetrain just gave up on tsubasa after the second episode of the library arc. that episode was 97% canon. the followin was 94% then it was bye-bye canon.

Hey now... The Chaos episodes were not that bad of a filler. And bad animation? I don't think so... BeeTrain does a lot better animation than most other anime studios. See Sola for crappy animation, although Sola has a good story.
Like I said before... If I was in BeeTrain's shoes... I would wait and hold off on making a 3rd season. If they started in spring, they would finish the anime before the manga ended, and nobody likes fake anime endings. Keep in mind that the 3rd season would be the final.

People let's stop talking about Bee train (unless you guys want to storn the studio with torches and pitchforks) since they are never going to get their hands on Tsubasa ever again... probably... let's just look forward to the OVA that will be released this year and next year by Production I.G.

yes some animes have worse animation, but to put up with great animation in one episode and them to look like frankenstien rejects in the next is inexcusable.
and the chaos arc had everyone acting OOC:
syaoran wanting to give up on saving sakura (whom he loves and promised toya he'd protect)
Fai willy-nilly using his magic with out feeling remorse to make a potion, which he is skilled at doing. (said so in outo)

But you know, about the whole season 3 deal... They scheduled in 3 seasons... and 3 seasons only. The manga isn't over yet, and no one but CLAMP knows how the story is going to turn out, so shouldn't Beetrain be waiting for it to be done so they know the story to follow, and how many stupid fillers they can fit in?

and for a filller, they COULD have done the "country of idols" [aka the world with the bunnys that tried to sacrifice syaoran XD] that coulda been a perfect filler, abd brought our vewis of sakura rom "maiden in distress" or "worthless sleeping princess" into "spunky princess who cares and has mystical powers"
i mean the entire anime sakura was basically worthless, with the only power to fly to where her feathers re and have "sakuragasms" >_< wtf was up with thos anyways???? its no wonder there are so many sakura-haters @_@also, i many have not watched the episode, but that one "Sakura works" or whatever it was called, was a complete defemation of sakura's character. sakura is suposed to be "God's favorite daughter" IE: she has extreme good fortune. if thats true, then why the heck did every single job sakura work at get screwed up?? it totally made her look (or sounds like) that ditsy blonde from "legally blonde" like she didnt know what she was doing in each job! god. >_<
