This is an awesome chapter nto only because it has development but because EVERYONE is in there TOGETHER. Syaoran, Sakura, Kurogane, Fai, and even Mokona are actually in this one and they come togehter, fianlly. I feel like its been a long time since they have all been together and no one is asleep. I can't wait for the scans, to see the look on everyone's faces. Fai really needs to calm down. Daddy knows how to take care of the family

I'd rather have the pictures first, then the translation, true. We can guess what they are saying with the pictures but its harder to imagine what they're doing with just the translations. I hope for some 112esque arm-grabbing, at least.

I hope there will be some 112-esque arm-grabbing as well! I really am hoping that all of the "wait" dialogue will be accompanied by Kuro physically restraining Fai from going anywhere (although Clamp probably won't be kind enough to give that....).
I'm reeaalllyy looking forward to seeing Fai's expressions this chapter. I can't really picture him upset or angry, so seeing the scans when they come out will just be awesome. He's showing that he really cares about people (being so worried about daughter Sakura to the point of almost running off to save her), even though he was just talking about pushing Kurogane away 2 chapters ago, so I'm a little confused as to what he's thinking. o_o ...make up your mind, Fai. It's not fair to embrace everyone else but then reject Kuro. u_u
Hopefully this is going to be the end of the Tokyo arc soon, the same as many people are hoping. They've been here a very long time, and it's time to see a new world now. I'm sure they're going to end up in Kurogane's world at some point, but I don't know if they would have it right after this (too much angst, I think?).
It's so much harder to just wait for Wednesday when spoilers and a translation come out days beforehand. To actually know that the images have been scanned but we're not allowed to see them for whatever reason is a little...distressing? I dunno. I think I should just avoid my computer until Wednesday next time to make it less disappointing. xD

They probably won't leave for quite a few more chapters though, Sakura's in pretty bad shape. Better to stay where they are to heal her instead of jumping into another world where they don't know what to expect. Besides, the whole Fuuma/Kamui/Subaru thing isn't resolved yet and I doubt Clamp is just going to leave them.
They've only been in this world for a couple days at the most though (this is their second night), it just feels long to us who have been reading it for the past 7 months. -_-

The chapter sounds SO sweet. Fai-mommy being all protective of his daughter...and Kuro-daddy was so great with the the bit about believing in Sakura, and it being harder to wait for her, and real!Syaoran's sense in that it would hurt Sakura more to get hurt trying to help her...They're such an adorable little family. ;.;
Sakura getting back is good. Maybe she'll rest, we'll get some X people plot, and then we'll get out of Tokyo?

That was an error by the translator, she made a mistake. That was actually Mokona speaking, not Kurogane. It would have been a lot more interesting if it had been Kurogane, though.

This chapter made Kurogane and Fai look even more like father and mother!!
The father has more faith in the physical abilities of his children and is willing to wait longer to see if they can accomplish an important task, but the mother is more emotional and even if she does believe in her children, she can't stand to see them endure pain for any reason and just wants her baby back in her arms!!
Fai was one stop short of saying "How could you let our baby go out there alone?!"
So much love for this chapter, even without the scans!! I was desperately hoping we'd get to see Fai mummy and Sakura hug!!!! Someone said we do get to see that right?

Yuuko-san actually kinda supports Fai and Kuro's relationship, I think, because she was looking at Fai really sadly when he told her that he finally called Kurogane by his real name. And even Fai says so himself "If I were to forgive him, I'd be even closer to him."
Which means he already had feeling for Kurogane underneath his mask, and now he's afraid of them spilling out into the open. Fai is afraid of any close connection, I think. His survival instinct is too sharp to allow any sort of mutual relationship, because trust can break alot of things. It's kinda sad.
=\ I'm glad he's confronting Kuro-rin now. But I wish the nicknames would come back. (I bet kuro-daddy wishes so, too)

A full chapter of Fay being serious and not smiling, I like it! He's prettier when he's showing his real face. Of course Kurogane saving Fay's life can't open him up, it's Sakura coming back beaten to a pulp. The hug at the end was extremely touching, perhaps Fay is finally getting why he shouldn't die?
Fuuma probably isn't going to be happy about his compass though....unless he can fix it. DX

Mmm...I love the KuroFay stuff in this chapter. I thought it was so adorable how sad they were when they were talking to each other. You can tell they really care a lot about each other and don't like the way things currently stand between them.
And the Fay/Sakura hug was just too cute!

The person would know anyway that someone linked the scans from all the extra hits. If it's on s/h/it's own server than I can see why they wouldn't want a lot of extra people seeing them.
As for why the scanner doesn't want them reposted, I don't get that either but I know various scanlations groups who are like that. I guess they feel that people won't credit them.

Kurogane is starting to slowly reach his aim,by pushing harder Fai to the edge,just a little more before he breaks down entirely,and there will be only to way for Fai to collapse : he will either fight with anger,or else cry desperately  :sad5:...
moreover,when Fai is hugging Sakura,he really seems to be about to cry because he bits his lower lips to calm himself.

This chapter proves the bond they all have with each other even they they have gone through so much "change" lately. What Fai said about Syaoran and his "readiness" (going vamp) to fight Daddy to save daughter was very emotional and developed.
Syaoran was amazing, and the hug at the end..I nearly cried.
We needed something pure like this after all of this chaos.
...Its finally time to leave Tokyo..

after all,he is the one who has been the closest to Fai since he has collapsed,so i let you imagine the scene with Kurogane touching Fai's foots and wondering if he should also takes off his pant and shirt,but finally giving up because everybody is watching him :haha:
when i checked minutely the last page of the chapter i found weird that Fai's foots were all scratched while he has only did few steps...but peharps he damaged his foots when he hurried to Sakura,he must have a sensitive skin :keke:
now Fai and Sakura are well assorted,Fai's foots are as much bloody as sakura's hands :sweatdrop:

I think Fai know realizes that it was a good thing he didn't die, he cares to much about them, especially Sakura. At the end Fai looked like he was about to cry, no? Clamp did an amazing job here, the feeling was intense. I guess that know Fai takes the post of C/Syaoran, caring deeply about Sakura and protecting her. He was the first to run when he saw her.

Just the whole melancholy of the way Fai keeps facing out into the distance, wanting to go after Sakura but can't, and he's not even looking at Kurogane. The way Mokona calls after Fai, and the way they all turn to listen to real!Syaoran, and Fai remembers clone!Syaoran, and when they all run to Sakura...and the hug...
With Sakura all bloodied and Fai with his eyepatch, and Kurogane standing back there, and real!Syaoran, it just hits me how much the group has been through this arc, yet they've managed to survive somehow, in some form, and they'll keep on from this point no matter what. It just shows how strong their bond has become since they first started this journey, and...I'm rambling, I think. But that has got to be the best ending for a TRC tankoubon ever.
I don't know if it's just the scans, but the artwork in this chapter seemed to have a more sketchy quality than usual - in the sense of thin lines, and not fully connected. Maybe it's just me, but I thought it was a wonderful effect for the chapitre.

OMAFKLJAFDSKFJSD THE ENDING MADE ME SQUEAL. I was just like "its a mother/daughter moment~~!!! It was so unexpected (after Sakura getting her butt whooped, who expected something so lighthearted?) and perfect.
The only thing that tops it was that 'CLAMPs tribute to the SYaoran/X fangirl.' That splash was pure 'gurgingsoundsofLOVE'
Kurogane and Fai fighting was actually refreshing. Instead of their spoofy lighthearted fighting, they had a serious fight about something, and I think that highlights their relationship some. To me, it was like, a milestone. >> Or I'm weird.
Also, has it been decided that R!Syaoran will travel with them?

Since I have nothing new to contribute to the discussion, a little ramble will hereby follow... I agree with previous posters saying how this chapter beautifully illustrates our heroes' relationships with one another, which makes me worry about their eventual, final goodbye. I think there will be too much sadness for me to handle when that moment comes (even though it's still fairly far away, and even though it may not even have to come to it, if Mommy and Daddy decide to go with their kids of course ^^)... Anyway. Syaoran smiling was a nice touch; even I am starting to miss Cloney somewhat now.
And, last but definitely not least, the h u g. I almost got a little teary-eyed.
Please move on to the next world soon, please move on...

I reacted to the artwork as well, and I agree - it does fit. As a matter of fact, I've felt that CLAMP have been using too many graytones lately, instead of the more black-and-white art trademarking TRC, and this chapter rather brings back some of the older feeling, and still feels completely new and appropriate for the, in lack of a better word, "shattered" mood.

This chapter was nice! I was really happy while reading it, and we've gotten a lot of character development in these pages. Kurogane's really changed over the series, wow. From the first pages we saw him to this point is almost like a different person. He really does care for his little family now. xD So cute.
Fai took off his cloak and covered Sakura with it, awww. He should be careful though, what if the acid rain burns away the eyepatch and it falls off! That would be kind of bad for Sakura to see. ew.

in page 6 right when they show Fay walking past, and his hand is up, look closely at Kuro's right cheek... suddenly there's blood... and Fay's hand is raised up as if he might have sliced while walking by.. as as far as 7 goes.. that is his collar sorry.. but page 6 you see the new cut.

It's definitely just Kuro's collar, on that page when Fai walks past him. Fai's just shifting the cloak when you see his hand up, I think. I admit that I did a double-take when I first read the chapter though.

this chapter is really a tribute to the two most vulnerable members of the team,Fai because of his lack of will to live,and Sakura because of her lack of physical strenght :sweatdrop:.
until now they were always the "spectators" while Kurogane and Shaolan were fighting,but in this arc they have been brought to the fore,sacrificing themselves for the sake of the others :keke:
in the end they are all totally bloody,broken,and exhausted,but at least they are not alone anymore,because Fai has understood how much Kurogane and the children cared for him,and Sakura has found a sweet family to comfort her :wink:

I noticed that earlier myself. Sakura's eye DOES look really messed up, especially in this one frame where her left eye wasn't colored in as they usually aren't when people are "surprised" or whatever, but her right eye was mostly filled in with black. I don't know, I guess it might just be all the blood from her head getting into her eye, or she may have messed it up when she knocked into the wall... No more eye woes, please D: We already have Fai following the tradition XD

CLAMP seems to have developed a slight obsession with eyes. First Syoran and Syoran, then Fai, now Sakura-chan?
Eye-injuries are sort of sexy, especially in the manga because they make for good angst without being TOO gross, and they provide yet another accesory to dress your characters up in (which eyepatch looks sexier on Fye?)
But this is going slightly overboard.... O_o

I think the eye should heal. Eyes actually heal very quickly. My cousin burst a vessel in his eye once and it was discolored just like that. And it looking wonky looks like it's from a black eye or something, and those heal. They hurt, but they heal. It should be fine.
And INU, CLAMP has had an eye obsession waaaaay before TRC. See: X, Tokyo Babylon, RG Veda...

but i think that in fact he knew pretty well that there wasn't any chance for him that Kurogane let him go,even if he tried to be threatening with his vampire eye :keke:
Kurogane was acting without any fear of Fai,stopping him only by words,which proves that the bond that links them is as much psychic as physical :okay: (Kurogane and Fai may shares now a telepathic communication)

Yuuko said that "made" vampires only have strength a bit better than a human (along with a longer lifespan...), so Fay won't be on the same level as Subaru and Kamui. He'll probably have the "fingernails of doom" as well (he has the eye thing going afterall), but it's hard to tell what his abilities will be like.
I just hope they have some good anaesthesia in Tokyo, taking that rod out of Sakura's leg is going to be extremely painful. >_<

I think it would be sweet if Syaoran (either the real one or the clone) tells Sakura to start saying "Thank You" rather than "sorry," just like what Sakura told him when he was little.

Still though, I don't think crossing Fay would be very wise at all. I doubt Kuro could have stopped him if Fay was truly intent on leaving without listening to any persuasion.

i understand what you are feeling,it's becoming harder to follow CLAMP's extravagances,but their manga has reached a level of no turning back,because there is too many questions that can't be ignored which need to be answered now to keep the absolute bewitchment of the story,so i don't think that CLAMP is going to put a break :sweatdrop::
the argument between Fai and Kurogane has to be settled now because Fai is obliged to drink the blood of Kurogane to survive,and the kind of relationship that Sakura and Real Shaolan will share has to be fix now because they are about to travel together :okay:

Actually, I think that's a bad translation on the part of BWYS, not DelRey.
DelRey translates:
"If he wants to keep from crying, he'll just have to get stronger. Strong enough so that he won't be the one crying in the end."
Pikari translates:
"But you aren't going to get stronger if you have to cry every time something happens to you."
Besides, Kurogane saying that is OOC and doesn't make logical sense, considering that Fai goes on to say,

It does sound like that from the spoilers.. when I read it I guess I automatically thought that the sentence was a bit messed up, or something, and was meant to say Real!Syaoran was kept captive to pay the price for Watanuki or something like that.. Which fits more with whats going on in HOLiC. But. It does look like it says Fai was captive o-o

I so hope those spoilers are true in that they will provide us with more backstory! That would be logical too, since a lot in the recent chapters has led up to a huge need of explanations from almost all. :) It seems that the two week wait will prove worth it.
Fai a captive...hmm, I guess it works with the "turned into a lie when Ashura took me with him" but, now the question would be from where did Ashura find him ??FWR's place (*has noticed a few days ago a disturbing similarity of the sleeve of the person who killed Kuro's mother to Fai's on the splashpage of ch 98*)

this spoiler is really confused,but according to what i have understand,the power that lies in Sakura was so powerful that it may have disordered all the balance that maintened the dimensions stable between them,so that someome (Fei wong reed or maybe another powerful guy) scaterred her memories to prevent her from bringing chaos  :surprised:..
and now Fei wong Reed is using Clone Shaolan to gather all the missing feathers in order to gain total control on the world.
maybe that Sakura's power is in fact evil,after all it seems that Kurogane Fai Shaolan and Sakura are slowly falling to darkness  :sweatdrop:...

Fai being a captive was something we were expecting since he often acts like a child who has never seen the outside world,always dreaming of freedom and tormented by a unyielding loneliness :sweatdrop:
but it can means two things:
either Ashura kidnapped Fai and confined him in order to use his power for himself,or else Fai was already held captive by someone else and Ashura saved him from his headsman...but in compensation Fai was forced to be his slave,so since the outcome was the same Fai decided to "betray" his devil saviour by sealing him to be able to flee :okay:
so we can suppose that if Fai seems so guilty about his past,it may be because he feels ashamed of having hurt the one who has released him,even if he was also planning to take advantage of his magic :wink:
hum,it's really frustrating to know that after 17 volumes we are still doing suppositions about Fai's past,without any certitude :(

The usage on the TC boards was that Fay was an "instrument of imprisonment". They're speculating Ashura-ou, but could it possibly be real!Syaoran that he was instrumental in imprisoning? That'd be a funny little wrinkle, wouldn't it?

Hmm, but does that mean Kurogane's true strength is just.... believing in Sakura? I don't know, I thought true strength was the strength to fight for the people you loved, like Kurogane's father was basically telling Kurogane? And considering the 125 tagline on the splash page, where it said Kurogane was beginning to realize why he fought, I thought that he was beginning to realize that he WANTS to protect his little family. I dunno. It's rather confusing, lol.

I've always wondered if Fai had something to do with tearing a rift through to Kurogane's world, enabling Kurogane's mother to be killed. We still don't know why FW needed her dead yet do we? And FW will undoubtedly have connections to Fai's past, like he has done with Syaoran and Kurogane.
Perhaps FW had close connections to Ashura and perhaps he had something to do with Fai's enprisonment also. I can see FW tricking Ashura into something...
I'm getting the feeling that whatever happened in Fai's home world, it's bigger than being a conflict confined just to Celes...

Oh, nice. 133 sounds like it will being information heavy, always a good thing! So Fai was either captive or "an instrument of imprisonment" and this is related to FWR (and possibly Ashura-ou)? It would be an interesting twist if he had had direct contact with FWR, or if he were related to Kurogane's mother's death. On the other hand, maybe FWR was part of the reason why Fai had to seal Ashura-ou - maybe manipulating Ashura-ou? Manipulating Fai?

Ooooh dear, if Fai WAS responsible in part for Kuro's mother's death, things would just be *too* messed up. Their relationship is already pretty screwed up right now, haha.
So, hmmm. What we know of Fai is that he sealed Ashura because it was "all he could do", he thinks Ashura will persue him when he wakes up, that Ashura "took him with him" somewhere, and possibly that Fai was a captive or "instrument of imprisonment".
Ah, yes. And there's the speech Fai had in the Clover bar. The scans I have translate it as him saying "I've been waiting... for someone who can stay by my side" (not sure who to credit for that one) whereas Del Rey translated it as "I was a guy who always waited for the one who would take me along".
Siiiiiigh. My brain is fried trying to figure this one out.

Speculation on Fai's past is like having five pieces of a one hundred piece puzzle and trying to fit them together. I may just give in and accept that I have no idea until CLAMP finally explains. It sounds like we might get another piece soon, though (and so closely following the last one! Perhaps this points to explanations this year?)

Hopefully the points so soon after another does actually mean Fai's past will be revealed soon. I mean, it's about flipping time.

I think Fai's past is related to the ending of the series, so maybe it will take a while more to know what's going on with him
CLAMP will probably focus more on what's going to happen with R!Syaoran, Sakura and what are they going to do next. I'm sure there will be more Fai and Kuro conversations, but they'll be interrupted all the time(it's CLAMP's way)

Fay being the one to kill Kuro-hahaue would make me so happy.
What? It would be an extremly cool twist to the story and force them to confront each other and their feelings! Fay is currently angry at Kuro and this would make Kuro angry at Fay. Before you know it they would be shagging each other senseless against a wall (heh heh).
Fay being forced to kill Kuro-hahaue by Fei Wong Reed would be such a CLAMP thing to do. I'm not sure how they would work through it, but it would be wonderful to see the angst it brings.

Agreed... Fay's hand is far more delicate... and while he has alot of power and a really good fighter.. I don't think he's strong enough to lift a sword that huge with one hand, AND stab it through some one... Fay like most wizards are very lacking in the department of physical strength.. and tend to be weak, with very low consitutions.

Maybe I'm dumb, but I can't think of a single instance when CLAMP has given one of their primary magic users a heavy melee weapon. Swords, even one handed swords, are very heavy. I don't know if you've ever tried to hold one, but it's nearly impossible to carry a sword of that girth with one hand.

That is true to some degree, but when you look at Fay... he fits the sterotypical foundation of a classic RPG wizard. Wisdom, intelligance, and Charsima are the main things for them, and Fay carries them in abudance. However, he's shown a few times in the manga that when it comes to phsyical strength and stamina he's not up for that. He has Kurogane do anything that requires any real labor, and he's content to sit back and be the mastermind.
Also like a true wizard, Fay manages to maintain distance in combat. There are a few times he has a staff, but otherwise he dodges or uses long range weapons... not wanting to get into close... (at least not trained that way... Fay's lack for caring about life might hinder that a bit) And of course this is all just my POV on his character.
Edit: I also believe that if Fay were to be one to kill Kurogane's mother... that would seirously be the end of their relationship... it's too cruel!! Fay would never forgive himself for something like that, and poor guy as enough issues... killing his friend/lover/companion's mother.... would just... yeah.. be too much.

Also the way that the sword cut appeared when Kurogane's mother was killed was the same way that Kyle and C!Syaoran traveled dimensions using FWR's power, it's kinda like a slit in space. Besides, didn't Fay say that he could only change dimensions once with all his power?

i will not be surprised if CLAMP reveals us that Fai is in fact a traitor working for Fei Wong Reed,after all there are a lot of hints that make him look suspicious  :okay::
1) first he doesn't want anyone to come too close to him because he fears to create deep bonds with people who would be supposed to be his foes (to fulfill his mission he has to be insensible and indifferent  :shifty:)
2) next he always seems to know everything before everyone (the journey of the group is in major part leaded arbitrarily by Fei Wong Reed,so Fai could have secretly each time opened the gate to the next dimension according to his master order with his magic  :dodge:.)
3) then Fai is often telling to himself that he wants to change,like if the affection that he has developped towards the kids makes him realize what is truly important for him  :keke:
4) finally i have found weird that Fai let Clone Shaolan ripped out his eye without reacting,so maybe that since it was part of Fei Wong Reed's plan,he was forced to let himself be  :sweatdrop:
okay,i'm pretty sure that it isn't that at all,but at least it gives some reading to wait for chapter 133 Â :haha:

I agree with you on #2, but not #4. He letting C!Syaoran rip off his eye was more related to Syaoran's heart, although i don't remember the details right now(it was explained shortly after he lost his eye). About #3, i think Fai already started to care for them after talking with Yuuko in chapter 130, he seemed to admit that he has gotten close to the group and that they care for him. #1 seems more related to his past rather than being a traitor
All in all, I starting suspecting about Fai when I saw he always knew what was going on, specially in LaCourt(or wharever you spell it). I'm still not 100% sure about him being a traitor or not though...

I don't think they're really rushing TRC. These recent chapters have been like a plot twist to me, and it usually comes with many key events for the plot. It feels more like we are halfway through the series rather than approaching the ending O.o

Yes, we still don't know where C/Syaoran went to, Fai's past is unkown, how do Sakura and Syaoran end up in that capsule thingy (1st page in Vol.1) and many other things.

Considering how opposed Yuko is to Fei Wong Reed I'm sure she wouldn't have let Fai continue along with the group if he was a traitor. From that little conversation the two of them had it seems that Yuko already knows all about Fai's past.

Glancing at this line quick, the 'real Syaoran line', I'd say it says that real Syaoran gets a worried glance in his eyes seeing Watanuki sleeping behind Yuuko, and thinks about how he (real Syaoran), Doumeki, and Himawari paid a price so that he wouldn't disappear. (as we've already learned in xxxHOLiC, apparently)

And this looks like more like, "Naturally, Tomoyo-hime trusted Kurogane not to want to[?] take part in Fei Wang's plans". Or something. Not Kurogane trusting in Sakura.

I've also been wondering what happened between Seishirou and Subaru. I mean, Seishirou is chasing them, then why did Subaru seem worried about him when he was talking with Fuma?

This is a theory I've had cooking in my brain for a while now after hearing something on the XXXholic anime (I've told myself not to read the spoilers for the manga this time) and where is says in the new spoilers that Yuuko would be leaving Watanuki got me thinking about it again.
In one episode she said something a long the lines of the shop looks out for it's own future. The way she said it made the shop itself sound like a living being. I thought that maybe this mean that at one stage Yuuko would leave the shop to Watanuki and she would leave/disappear from that world or something. The new spoiler seems to strenghten this idea.
The only part I can't figure out is why it's Watanuki....maybe he's a blood relation of Clow's as well.

Must be, there is even a description of the color page, everyone holds an object, looks like the things they lost, Syo holds a clock, time, Sakura her memories (don't remenbr the item now) Fay a heart, his feelings, and Kurogane tears, his ability to cry, to be weak I think.

Yeah, that makes complete sense. I thought the same thing too. I'm wondering if the "Fai's past" part will continue into other chapters or will we slowly get a piece at a time until the s%!= finally hits the fan?

It metions some stuff aobut Tomoyo, too, and Clow. Plus, its says that the splash page had all of them in banadages, I think. It was hard to understand. Del Rey wouldn't change it.
They gave Tsubasa a 'T -Teen' rating for a reason (they may even give it a higher rating once they reach the Tokyo arc). Del Rey are by far the best western manga tranlating company I've come across so far. They respect the manga they translate and try very hard to keep everything that's in the Japanese version as it is. They don't shy away from bad language, shonen-ai / shojou-ai, Japanese suffixes or Japanese pop-culture references. If Del Rey can publish Kurogane calling people "B*stards", they can publish Fai flipping the bird.

I'm just going to add my love to the pile accumulating on the splash page. They're in front of one of those...background things for criminal mug shots, aren't they? Plus the middle figure and everyone looking more punk than usual (I'm snickering and Fai and Kurogane's bling), this one is a mood all it's own. And the X-ed out symbols are even better - makes it feel more surreal. Is that real!Syaoran, or clone!Syaoran, by the way?

This splash page really is something more than any of the others. It carries a stronger message, much like the "text" on it says.
They may be goign through a ton of pain right now, and they may have lost a lot in their lives, but they're saying "**** That!" We're going to still do our best and move on!
CLAMP completely wowed me with this picture, and of all of CLAMPS works this ranks up there with one of myfavorites because of its message...and fanservice. >.<

For Super Sailor Yue--Don't worry, DELRAY will not change that, they do sell mature Manga now, and its un-cut, DELRAY is by far one of the best Manga companys out there, where as VIZ, Tokyo Pop, and a few others like to alter others works.

We can kind of see her elbow near Syaoran. Once the nice scans come out tomorrow, we should be able to see everything fine. xD

He may put that cheery, 'the whole world is made of candyfloss and kittens' disposition on, but we all know that there is a much darker, regretful, more bitter Fai lurking just beneith the surface. We've just started to see some of it with his recent coldness to Kurogane.
Flipping the bird could be the most In Character thing he's done so far!!!

I don't think it has anything to do with feeding (or fighting off feeding).
Although, that is what my fangirl brain instantly thought of!

Unfortunatly, EVERYONE has those scratches...even Fay.
Except CLAMP was drawing attention to those scratches by making them a brighter red than everyone else's scratches and by not covering them. All other face and neck scratches are completely covered. Well, except for Fai's scrapes. And the bandaid on his neck... is not even covering the scratches we can see.

I still don't like his eyepatch. The plaster onthe splash is cute. The bigass black band is not. Mostly because it messes up his haier... *is shot for being trivial*
