It really made me happy and warm to see Sakura in that one bigger panel where she looks so mature. I still didn't like her thoroughly but now I've really grown attached to her.
Unfortunately not much KuroFai this time :( We only see Kuro and Fai twice *sigh* Well, maybe in the next world something will finally happen.

So, eh, looks like Sakura really MIGHT go with Real!Syaoran, seeing how they were making the eyes at each other...; That would be pretty annoying. Did anyone else catch the paralells between this scene and the one where they first get to Yuuko's place? Check out the way R!Syaoran is holding Sakura. And there are people in cloaks. And it's raining. Meh.

Perhaps I just have bad fashion sense, but I liked the splash page. xd And while that scene was cute, I don't really think for a second that R!Syaoran will end up with Sakura. Fuuma was so cute- I really wanted to hug him to death. xd And Karen mothering Kazuki for that one frame almost made me cry, remembering how that turned out in X. T_T It was so sweet.

Yarr, me hearties!! I'd pay to see that coloured by CLAMP.
But nothing else really exciting. Nice S/S moment but I was really hoping for something a bit more dramatic than that. I mean...after all the insane twin action going on only to wake up in Syaoran's arms again....I was hoping for a bit of mistaken identity angst and so on.
And no KxFness. ;__; Oh well, hopefully we'll get plenty in the next chapter. If not then soon.

I don't think that Sakura and Syaoran were making eyes at each other so I don't see that page as being particularly S/S. I think Sakura is more sorrowful, because she knows he isn't HER Syaoran and Syaoran is rueful because HE knows he isn't HER Syaoran.
I still stand by my Sakura/C!Syaoran stance though, so I might be biased!
I really can't see Clamp pushing Sakura off onto R!Syaoran. They haven't really broken up any couples once they've started with them (unless they always had someone else-like Yumi in Chobits-although they hinted between her and Hideki, she always had Ueda-san from the beginning. Or if they had magical based crushes!)
I will be sad to see them leave Tokyo, if only because I have a large chunk of Fuuma/Kamui attached to my X-Obsession and because Seishirou hasn't showed up. I suppose that if Kamui and Subaru travel with the gang for a while then I may not mind so much!
Not really much to comment on with this chapter.
Although I do find that Fye-patch fugly. In fact, I think the whole splash page is Clamp taking the mick out of the 'GayVampirePirate!' thing.

I'll admit to screaming out Fyepatch!Vampfyer!! and being incoherent for several minutes, but CLAMPs garrish detailed things do make such wonderful splash pages. x3 If Fye wore that normally it'd be a different story.
Aaaand KxF goes into the background again. The look between R!Syao and Saku was gorgeous, but I'd agree with selenityshiroi, it seemed more a sorrowful look than 'making eyes at eachother'.

I think my suspicion that she may not even want to gather the feathers anymore may be right. She may have left that one because it would help, but her "it's fine" that she doesn't get her memory back makes me wonder if she still wants to collect them. Either way, they'll be changing worlds soon.
Since the whole Kamui/Subaru/Seishirou situation isn't resolved, those two shouldn't completely disappear (not with Mokona still on Kamui...). Sad that we won't see Fuuma again, I love him. He looked a little sad that Kamui is leaving, there goes his sparring partner. If you're a major character of a series, there tends to only be one of you in this series (unless you're Syaoran, and since he was a clone I don't know if that counts as two).
Poor Watanuki did all the work again! This means though that Yuuko knew what was going to happen, as she had planned ahead of time. The sad thing is that she can't really interfere, so all of this had to happen. -_-
Still though, the DOE and DOH living together is pretty interesting. They always were kinda civil with each other in X (emphasis on kinda), but this is overkill. :XD:

I hope you're right. It would be rather sad if Subaru goes off with Seishirou and Kamui's left all alone. Although I can't see that happening, they seem rather attached to each other here. Fuuma does deserve more than two chapters and two last pages of chapters to feature him. He should be featured in the next chapter though. :XD:

This chapter was a little on the dull side but only because of the way the previous four or five have been filled from the first page to the last with momentuous bits and pieces. The current chapter did take us back a little to the course (thank Elbereth we were strayed from the path but it was only natural for the story to get back!).
A few people already mentioned how Sakura's actions and demeanor in this chapter made her more mature and more likeable. I agree! It is much easier to take her seriously and like and emphatise with her this way. The whole drama with cloney is the key that has made me get truly interested in her and her fate.
It was sweet to see her with R!Syao, as of yet, there seems to be more of sadness, remembrances and compassion than any romantic feelins in their looks.
Mokona's care for Sakura is admirable! It will be hard to separate him/her/it from the rest after the journeying is done.

Plus I'm not completely convinced that Clonie will return to normal. Any other manga-ka, sure but this is CLAMP and they aren't known for doing what's normal. I know CLAMP has said TRC will have a happy ending but their definition of happy ending could be completely different from our own.

Regardless that I do believe that Clow Syaoran might still reside in the clone, now that he doesn't have his "heart" given by the Real Syaoran, I don't think Clow Syaoran will be able to regain himself completely.
I was just thinking... and I think I mentioned this in the other chapter and I'll bring it up again, do you think now that Sakura has left the feather, could Clone Syaoran or Fei Wong Reed find a way to get it back? I just wondering how the story and the group will go on after this, at first, the main purpose for the journey is to find the feathers for Sakura and the provokator is C!Syaoran; now he's gone, it's not like the R!Syaoran will continue the job (dunno yet), and I hope we will get some mystery solved for next few chapters with some explanation from Yuuko.

Since she lost her most important person for her, and though R!Syaoran is with her now and has the same face and maybe the heart as well, but he is 'different' for her, and it seems so painful for her :(, also that it seems she loss the desire for collecting the feathers since it's become no point, although maybe she's suppose to, because if Sakura get all the feathers, C!Syaoran will 'pick her up'... :sweatdrop:

That's very possible... especially if Fei Wong Reed didn't notice that Sakura did not take the feather. But who knows? Fei Wong Reed might be keeping tabs on all the feathers and know when one's not missing. But what you said is still a possibility.

I'm just seeing it as it might be possible that Real Syaoran and Sakura could be together. It's just a simple link, or a simple symbolsim. But whether or not Real Syaoran really does love her is something yet to be answered...

My impression was that "the dream" referred to an ambition, rather than a literal dream, and that it was FWR's dream. But that's mostly an impression.
It's interesting to think that in kissing clone!Syaoran's right eye, Sakura was also symbolically kissing real!Syaoran. I'm not really going to call anything on which Syaoran Sakura will end up with until more facts surface. I also hope we'll get more real!Syaoran backstory. Maybe the next world will be pretty quiet and we'll get some nice sharing time between the characters. *member of the "enough Tokyo already!" crowd*

it has been proposed here that Sakura might not be interested in getting her feathers/memory back due to the loss of Clonie, with the basis being declining the return of the last feather in Tokyo world. However this gesture is for me as of yet not a sign of the whole quest of Tsubasa now at an end or at least stopping-point. Even if the memories are painful, she would still want to get them back for they are not of Clonie alone (and for her they are not of Clonie anyway but of thin air she is speaking to) but also of his home, brother, father, Yukito and so forth.
If she refused now to collect any more feathers it would be a kind of running away and I doubt she would do it nor that CLAMP wants us to look at her like that (one running-away guy is enough ;)!)
It would be more probable to suppose that she left this feather since she is as kindhearted as she is and having heard C!Syao declare there are no more feathers in that world, she believes that Clonie will not then come back to take it.
After (hopefully) a little pause during which we get to know more of R!Syao and once the gang decided on the next course of action, I do see them travelling as before with the intent to get her memories back. I would not be too surprised if either she or someone would propose that the way to either get Clonie back or defeat FWR is for her to get the feathers but then somehow gain the advantage through the power she has.

I love this chapter a lot (even though it don't have any Kurogane and Fai in it), but there is S+S, so I am happy. :greengrin:
I absolutely love the look shared between R!Syaoran and Sakura. In my point of view, the look is more of sadness than of love. But I still adores it either way. The way R!Syaoran looks at Sakura is just ..just sad. :sad5:
By the way, I root for R!Syaoran and Sakura because:
1. I start to like Syaoran from CCS. And the R!Syaoran remind me of the Syaoran from CCS. When R!Syaoran comes out, I was like " Squeelllllllll!!!That is him. That is the Syaoran that I love from CCS."
His personality seem to be more reserve, quiet and shy than the C!Syaoran. C!Syaoran on the other hand are more bold ( example: he admit several time to other that Sakura is a very important person to him, while Sakura heard it).
2. He is the one a have soul and heart.
Anywho, I am so looking forward to the change in the relationship between the gang (there is no way that Kurogane and Faye can go back to treating each other like before after everything that has happen so far. Well, at least I hope that they will become more 'friendly' with each other :sweatdrop: )
P.S. I practically melted into a puddle after seeing Fai's splash page. He is just too beautiful to describe in words. :okay: and his eyepatch :XD:
Anyways, love Faye. He is the reason that I continue to watch Tsubasa anime. Seeing Faye in animation is just :laughing4:

remember when yuuko said that the price for traveling is that "one feather sakura will not retrieve will be c!syaoran's"? it doesn't mean the feather doesn't exist; most likely they'll never go to the world with that feather, or they won't get it at all.
it just might be possible that this feather she's choosing to leave behind is THE feather with c!syaoran's memories. and considering how yuuko can look into the future, well, we can say this was already coming. so most likely the gang will not be returning to this world at all, and the feather will not be taken back.
hitsuzen. it's not a coincidence. this also applies to how yuuko also said "your relationship with her will never be the same again". yuuko wasn't probably talking about sakura not remembering c!syaoran, but about how he will begin his change! as soon as they even BEGUN searching for the feathers, c!syaoran's downspiral had also begun...

I also had this thought that there might be one feather that contain all of Sakura's memories of C!Syaoran... but I thought that Mokona would have taken them (as Yuuko said before they started their journey)? And what about the gaps in Sakura's memories?
There's also the feather with Seishirou... but who knows about that one.

i totally agree on the hitsuzen part.. from the start i know that they'll still be together even though Yukko said "your relationship would never be the same".. my interpretation is that the Clow Syaoran she knows will be gone (sorry Clow Syaoran fans) together with her childhood memories of him but in place of that.. there's another Syaoran.. probably not better but she'll love him all the same.. ^^

Lately, a lot of people have given up on Clow Syaoran, especially ever since this chapter, and have settled that Real Syaoran will do. To me, that's a bit unfair. Only 2-3 chapters have passed since we've seen the clone and we've already forgotten him. I blame it mostly on the time gap though... but really, have a little faith. Anything's still possible. I'm not ruling out that Real Syaoran might replace Clow Syaoran, but I'm also not ruling out that Real Syaoran is gone forever.
And Zettai, how do you know the waters that came out was meant for the acid rain?

eer.. the liquid is not water.. english translation translated it into "WHAT? WHAT?" but the chinese transalation is "虾米" (xia mi).. which means 'prawn rice' literally.. (which is quite weird coz no such thing exist) but i guess it's sake.. since sake is translated into "米酒" (mi jiu) in chinese..

Lately, a lot of people have given up on Clow Syaoran, especially ever since this chapter, and have settled that Real Syaoran will do. To me, that's a bit unfair. Only 2-3 chapters have passed since we've seen the clone and we've already forgotten him. I blame it mostly on the time gap though... but really, have a little faith. Anything's still possible. I'm not ruling out that Real Syaoran might replace Clow Syaoran, but I'm also not ruling out that Real Syaoran is gone forever.
And Zettai, how do you know the waters that came out was meant for the acid rain?
I still believe C/Syaoran will come back to his senses, and I want HIM to end up with Sakura...after all the one we've seen through out the whole series had been him, so it's a bit unfair that R/Syaoran takes Sakura for himself.

It's just well water that hadn't been touched by tap water yet, and was very dense. Watanuki could barely carry just one jar, so he had to have Doumeki help him carry them. Usually just two jars a trip, thirteen total jars.
The water shouldn't do anything other than provide water. Subaru only asked for water to fill up the reservoir, not to stop the acid rain. I have to wonder if he even knows that it's raining acid rain outside, I think this is the first time he's been out of the basement.
The water shouldn't cost too much. Yuuko paid Nekomusume a hat for the water, so it shouldn't be too expensive. :keke:

Yeah the water in the jars is only to replace the water Clonie got rid of during the fight. That's why they still need the feather; to protect the building from the acid rain. If the water in the jars got rid of the acid rain than there would be no reason for them to keep the feather.

C!Syaoran was a physical clone, without a soul (just a shell). He wouldn't have the same personality, that comes from the heart/soul. Both Kurogane and Kamui stated that he was someone else when he changed, and when R!Syaoran was coming from another dimension Kamui said "The same feeling approaches, as what I sensed from him before".
The Syaoran that we knew isn't in the clone anymore. He has to grow his own heart, which won't be the same person that he was before. Confusing. o_O
This has been mentioned before, but what is up with that line between Sakura and R!Syaoran on page 11? I've seen three different scans of this chapter, and it's all of them. What is this, lines of destiny? Sakura petals, feathers, bubbles, now lines of destiny? :haha:
I'm not going to form a true opinion on who Sakura should be with, I'm just going to sit back and watch what Clamp does. Whatever they come up with should be fine. :keke:

The water was meant for the underground reservoir to keep the Tower standing.
Sailor Yue, the splash page is lovely - I like the smudged/dotted/whatever coverlet and the colour of Fai's sash especially!

i think its because of the jugs...they LOOK like they only hold a gallon each, but the amount of water thats comming out of them looks FAR more then a gallon. they might be enchanted to hold 10xs as much as they should or something

I agree, I don't think C!Syaoran and Real Syaoran are the same... I mean, even Real Syaoran mentioned that C!Syaoran's feelings for Sakura were C!Syaoran's own so at least from there we know the both of them are seperate.
Well, I'm still rooting for C!Syaoran but who knows... I am prepared to root For Real Syaoran just in case CLAMP does show that Real Syaoran was meant for Sakura and all that... but until then, I'm supporting C!Syaoran. I don't think I can forget him that easily...

Maybe he feels guilty, because maybe deep down inside he felt that he would end up hurting Sakura.

To me, that look she gave R Syaoran screamed confusion, not attraction.

Someone argued that even though she may not wish for more memories of Syaoran, neglecting those of her brother and other important persons in her life as well would be selfish, and since that is very un-Sakura-ish, she probably acted like she did out of compassion for the Tokyo gang. I disagree. I mean, her most important person has been taken away from her in such a cruel manner - I don't reckon she's thinking about what kind of memory it is that she is giving up; at the moment, she simply doesn't care about retrieving her memories, she's overwhelmed with sorrow. Who would want to continue after going through something like this?
Let's hope she finds it within her to carry on soon. Even if she is pretty helpless and bleak in TRC, I still don't want sweet little Sakura-chan to suffer (even though I agree with those who say this has made her a lot more interesting)...

Quite true. But who knows, maybe him having a heart inside him all those years may help him grow his own. Or perhaps there were traces of R!Syaoran's heart left in the clone?

I so badly want Real!Syaoran to have a personality. Our!Syaoran was okay, but he was so...dull.
I kinda want Real!Syaoran to be the kinda guy who'd headbutt the Queen of England, or stick your fingers in warm water whilst you're asleep...it'd be really funny if he was...
But, I doubt he will be.
Still, I enjoyed the focus on Sakura and Syaoran at points and I really hope that Sakura will become a stronger and more independant character now. I understand she needed someone to lean on due to her lack of memories, but it's been a while now and it could've been very easy for her to just keep leaning on the Syaoran she knew. Only now he's been torn away from her, she's faced with someone who is but isn't the Syaoran she knew so she's going to have a constant reminder of what happened with her at all times.
She needs to stand on her own two feet now - Kurogane is going to be preoccupied with making sure Fai's all right, Fai's a little too out-of-it to do anything anyway, and Mokona ...although it can try, it can't be as much of a comfort as a human being could be.
...Don't brick me for this; but I'm glad this has happened to Sakura. I can't wait to see become a stronger person because of it...which I can see happening already. I'm kinda proud of her. ^_^;

but i prefer it this way,we need a correct proportioning between this two couples,so as to avoid lassitude,jealousy,and frustration :okay:
about Sakura,i think that her break-up with Clone Shaolan was essential to make her evolve,because the fact that he isn't there anymore to protect her will force her to look after her herself,and so to gain more self assurance,maturity,and independence :surprised:...
of course real Shaolan will be there to watch over her,but she may keep her distance from him,because his presence will certainly make her suffer more than anything else,even if it isn't his fault :sweatdrop:

totally agree!!! i have this feeling that Sakura's uncomforatable with Real Syaoran.. it's either that she's not used to this Syaoran or she don't wanna be reminded of the Clow Syaoran.. maybe without the protection of Syaoran =, we can see more girl power!!!! like the Sakura of CCS.. ^^

I completely agree with what you said.
I think this was probably the best thing that could happen to Sakura because you're right she's going to grow from it and we'll now see her taking care of herself. Where before she would just rely on Syaoran even though she couldn't remember who he was.

We have been talking in how big an extent the recurrable characters resemble each other, mainly in relation to Syaoran. If we see the CCS Sakura as the "truer" one, then Syaoran's change is really what makes the Tsubasa Sakura find herself and become what her soul is leading her to be; the little irony being that she is reclaiming herself while denying her feather. It is a nice pattern that makes.

i agree, we do need equal oportunity for both pairngs, and even give more chapters that have NO pairing stuff, but pair up 2 odd characters, like when Fai whent out hunting with syaoran and those people.
i also agree with you about her wanting to distance from the real syaoran...it accured to me, why give on quite large panel for sakura taking her hand off of Real Syao? IMO i think she sorta flinched away from him, and then gave him a remorseful look. i mean think about it. the first thing she see's when she wakes up is Real Syso's face, and the last time she saw that face, the clone's, it was cold and soulless, so she got a bit frightened or something, then relizing her mistake she felt bad about it.

I'm also really happy to see Sakura being more indepedent. I really do like her character (and by that I mean her TRC character), but I really want her to get to grow up some. Maybe now that her Syaoran isn't with her, we'll see more of that. *Hopeful*

there's so much to be interpreted from r!syaoran's reaction though. didn't he turn away first when he and sakura looked at each other? could he --
a. wanted sakura to realize he's not c!syaoran (evidently too much pain/sorrow in sakura's expression, and he's kinda sad/frustrated that she last saw a monster out of c!syaoran, and now he has the same face)
b. was already falling in love with her as well and got kinda awkward about her looking at him for the first time (or wants her to see as HIMSELF, not as c!syaoran)
c. wanted to comfort her but thought otherwise, considering what she just went thru
er.. getting kinda mushy. will quit while i'm ahead :P

If you think about it, wasn't R!Syaoran asleep all that time? I would think that the things he saw of Cloney's life would have been like a dream he lived for all those years. I'm gonna bet he still benefitted from Cloney's upbringing and relationships, if not to the same extent. Still, the burning questions are - what was he like(& where) before he got stuck in there, and why?

I don't know what you guys are thinking but Sakura chose not to take the feather because she feels like it's the cause that make C!Syaoran become like that and she's afraid of it. I feel sorry for R!Syaoran but it really can't be helped that Sakura has forgotten him from the very beginning. You may not know but before beginning of chapter 1, Sakura and R!Syaoran knows each other.

before the beginning of chapt 1?!?!? i don't think it's possible.. when she was introduced to Clow Syaoran when she was young she didn't say anything like "i've seen you before" or something like that.. she was just happy that she has another friend to play with..
the reason that R!Syaoran could have felt something for Sakura is because he saw events that Clone Syaoran went through through his right eye

About TRC!Syaoran being CCS!Syaoran - they can't be the same because in the ending of CCS, Sakura mentions that they (she and Syaoran) wrote letters back and forth and talked on the phone while they were apart. Sakura would realize if he mysteriously disappeared for some time.
Also CCS!Syaoran wasn't gone all that long. He was 10 in CCS and in the ending it mentions that Sakura is now in Middle School (grades 7-9); that means they'll both 12-14 by the end of CCS but TRC!Syaoran looks older than that plus he was imprisoned since he was a kid.

I'm not sure who R!Syaoran is, but we need to remember that time works differently from dimension to dimension. Being in a test tube for 7 years could have been a day in his world. He could be CCS!Syaoran, for all we know he could have wished to go back to how things were before from Yuuko. You never know.Â
As shown in the world with Ashura (can't remember the name right now), Yuuko can manipulate time. So I'm not going to rule anything out just yet. :keke:

the price for his wish could have been Sakura's FEELING for him,exactly like Clone Shaolan's price was Sakura's memories of him...so it would explain why Real Shaolan seemed so sad when he was looking at Sakura,since he knew that his feelings for her would never be reciprocal :sad5:

Well in CCS manga, Sayoran was "Gone for two years", to do some things in Hong Kong, as to what his mother told him to do, which isn't explaned in the manga its self of what she truly said to him. But two years later he's back with Sakura, telling her what he had to do was now finished.
As of yet in the TRC Manga, it's been two years since the group has been together, I think?,

time flows ideferently in each world. IE: in the Jade world, sakura's feather was there for 300 years, even tho she only lost them a couple weeks their time.

Im not sure, but it seems to me that most people translate from the Chinese version, am i right?. And on the first pages of this tread I read that the Chinese version came first than the Japanese one, what's the reason for this?. Isn't it made in Japanese and then translated to other languages?

Well in CCS manga, Sayoran was "Gone for two years", to do some things in Hong Kong, as to what his mother told him to do, which isn't explaned in the manga its self of what she truly said to him. But two years later he's back with Sakura, telling her what he had to do was now finished.
As of yet in the TRC Manga, it's been two years since the group has been together, I think?,

But Real Syaoran was trapped in that tube for longer than 2 years. So unless Real Syaoran has two bodies (one in CCS world and one in Fei Wong Reed's tube) it wouldn't make sense.

No, it still wouldn't make sense. Syaoran has actually grown like.. five years since he was imprisoned. Therefore, if Real Syaoran then returned to his own dimension (the CCS world), he'd be five years older instead of two.

maybe that Real Shaolan has aready made the wish to Yuuko to go back to the past to settle everything himself,but i don't think that Real Shaolan's price could have been his memories of what he has "lived" on the tube,because when he was fighting Clone Shaolan he told him that he knew all his life and the persons he has met through his eye :surprised:!
moreover when kurogane asked him why he was wearing "the bat symbol",Real Shaolan has answered him that it was the sign of those who have killed his parents,so he was pretty obvious of all has been happening :keke:!

What I don't get is that when C!Syao is growing but R!Syao isn't, you know, they kinda start "contacting" each other at Shura country and at that time R!Syao was still a child compare to C!Syao, and at Lecourt Country, he already at the same age. CCS syao is 15 when he return to Japan...? I though he's younger than that since they just started junior high school (maybe around 12-13) ?? well, as Nefadol said, Yuuko can do something about it... :lol:

There would have to be so many clarifications and loopholes in the timeline for R!Syaoran to be CCS!Syaoran. It would be ridiculously complicated, to the point that I would just use Occam's Razor: the simplest explanation is usually the best. And the simplest explanation is that R!Syaoran -isn't- CCS!Syaoran.

Actually, I think the fact that he's a different version of CCS!Syaoran is a perfectly good explanation of why he can use the magic and has the sword. CLAMP has often had different versions of the same characters use the same or similar attacks and weapons, not to mention be related to each other in the same way. It doesn't require any more explanation.

The only glitch is the "blood relative" of Clow Reed part. Different versions in other worlds can't be "blood relatives", they only share souls. I've always wondered about Watanuki being related to Clow, the look that R!Syaoran gave him was a bit odd in xxxHolic. Clow did know about Watanuki afterall. -_-

I'm confused by what exactly you mean by this. What I was saying is that, say, two people who are brother and sister in one world will often be brother and sister in another world. In that way, it's perfectly possible for a different version of Syaoran to also be related to a different Clow. And I always figured Clow knew about Watanuki, lol- Watanuki is Yuuko's pet project like Sakura was Clow's pet project.

Actually, CCS!Syaoran can do magic without his ofuda (the parchments), he's been shown to a few times, if I remember correctly, and there was even one rare time where he released a Clow Card without using his sword either, and just held it between his 2 forefingers. I think it was the Dash....? He could even use his ofuda without the Jian sword too (an example would be when Eriol trapped him with the strings). I guess he is capable of doing his spells in different ways (Mind, I'm using examples from both manga and anime).
Also, CCS!Syaoran's magic circle IS like the "laisen board". It's the Rashinban. There' no doubt. R!Syaoran used his CCS counterpart's magic. Whether he is CCS!Syaoran himself, is yet to be solved.
R!Syaoran could be whoever at this point, all we know is the above, and that he's got Clow's bloodline as said by FWR, probably by a different Clow Reed, who knows? And IF time is different in each world/dimension, doesn't it mean that you grow at a different rate too, considering the timeline? So if a person goes to another world, to they still have the growing rate of where they were originally from? And is not fact that R!Syaoran was stuck there for 7 years in the tube. People just calculated it. Plus, we see that he may be younger then Clow!Syao...

I always got the impressions that clow *ahem* got around.
CCS!Syaoran is a relative, but he's several generations away. a great great great great grandson or whtever.
TRC!Sakura is his daughter, only one generation.
TRC!Real!Syaoran could be anything.
Is it the same clow? Maybe, maybe not.
I'm curious too about why R!Syaoran was interested in Watanuki (OMG! just thought of a crack pairing...). They obviously have a connection and Yuuko/Clow had plans for them both. But what...

I reread the volume 15 tankouban (which I recently bought... took me long enough too! And volume 16 is coming out!) and realized that whenever Clow Syaoran dreamt of Real Syaoran, it kinda also seemed as though it was the clone speaking to him. I might be wrong but I wonder...
Why is it in the Lecourt world, when Syaoran dreamt of Real Syaoran, Real Syaoran practically tried to choke Clow Syaoran?
And then in the Tokyo arc, Real Syaoran grabbed Clow Syaoran's arm and kept saying "I've been waiting..."
Though I kind of understand the Tokyo one, but I don't understand the true motive behind it... Why the scary aura around it? And why did Real Syaoran try to choke Clow Syaoran in his dream? Is there something else to it?
Don't think there'd be any answers now... but it's just something I hope CLAMP will solve as well.

Someone had written up a nice explanation of how long they have been traveling from using the seasons and holidays in xxxHolic, but I have no idea where I read it. According to that, Watanuki is now 17/18 when he was originally around 16. They've gone from before valentines day early in the series to full blown winter with snow, and now they're in summer. There was also a New Year's in there as well, with the first dream of the year and all.
I need to go through and count the seasons and holidays, but it has been well over a year in Yuuko's world, that's for sure. You need to take the time difference into consideration when you're comparing Tsubasa to xxxHolic though.
Amongst the group, Fai and Kurogane have spent the longest amount of time together. Due to their seperation that one time, they lived together for six months longer than Syaoran and Sakura.

I don't think the story shows every world they go to (as shown in the omakes) so it is possible for the journey to be two years long already (especially for Kuro & Fai who spent 6 months seperated from the rest)....They stayed longer in piffle I think, and some other places. However I think its more like a year...else Sakura and Syaoran would have a bit more growth spurt.

As Eriol is the other half of Clow's soul it makes sense for it to be HIM and Fujitaka.

I just noticed how big the gap in time is between worlds. When the group arrives in Tokyo, Yuuko was dressed the same way she was at New Years. Now in her world it's the middle of summer, but they've only been in Tokyo for a couple of days at the most. That's around a six month gap right there.
I guess it's kinda hard to tell how long the group has been traveling then. o_O

I think the only way to count it would be to say how many nights they have slept...but there is no way to know that. Of course, as was said before, Kuro and Fai have been traveling six months longer than Sakura and Syao... but we have no idea what is going on "off camera" so to speak, so we can't tell how long they have been in any world.
If it had been 2 years or longer in Yuuko's world, though, I think she would have asked for more white day presents!

The water is now clean. If the system of Acid Tokyo is not corrected, the water will be useless. In such a world where magic doesn't exist, why is there a container for the feather? Four years ago, a man brought along the feather with him. He was Seishiro's younger brother. Kamui doesn't want Subaru to join the fight (with the Tower people?), so they'll cease fight for now.
After calming down, Yuuko asks for the price for the water. That moment, "real" Syaoran says, "I will..."
Sakura says, "Let me do it." She had been sleeping until now and couldn't do anything. That is why she wants to do it for this country's people, she says.
There is a place that Sakura has to go alone. After being taught how to use a form of transport, she journeys through the acid rain.

Actually, I'm don't know how STRONG Fuuma is compare to Kamui. I mean, when they fought, Fuuma seems had nothing special, well maybe he is considered strong coz he's the only one who can deal with Kamui equally.

Therefore I hope/wish the second half will not come true. One reason being that we are still stuck in this world and the other for Sakura being the one to pay the price. It would just not make sense in the current circumstances for her to be the one (for it to see Sakura actively participating is always most welcome).

I agree, the spoilers for next chapter sound boring. As much as I like the to vampires and Fuuma (?) and it's all cute and stuff... I don't really care for their side of the story. I don't care if Seishiro never shows up, dies or becomes straight, or if Kamui suddenly grows another arm or pops a sit.
TRC has focused so much fon those side characters that it's making TRC boring.
As much as I love the Tokyo place for what happened between KF (and gave SS a good enough twist-- FINALLY that was the most boring pairing ever before Tokyo), I am anticipating the outcome of all this.
I want the gang to move along, move out of that Tokyo place and see what is going to happen between Syaoran and Sakura. Also (most importantly) I am about to DIE to know what will happen between Fye and Kurogane.
The Tokyo saga is like eating too many chocolates and in the end you get that over-sugary taste in your mouth that makes them stop tasting good.
No offence to the X fans, but TRC is not an X manga, nor does it center on the characters. It was cute at first, but they're stealing all the spotlight.
I don't mind Sakura going on a mission to pay for the water. I mean, about time the poor girl porves herself useful. Her character is very.. bleh- she has to do something. I love her and all- but she does not give TRC a good enough reason to read: always falling asleep, being overly cute, cute, cute, cute, sleep, cute....sleep... sleep.
Also, this will give the 3 TRC men- or should I say 2? I don't think Fye will wake up any time soon.

Problem being, you throw Subaru and Seishirou into a series and for a large chunk they take it over, look what happened to X (not that I minded). They're not like the Clamp School Detective guys who play their role and then stay in the background (I'd say they're tied for series crossovers with SxS). >_>
But yeah, I want to leave Tokyo as well, they've been there for over two volumes already. If Kamui gets his way and gets them to leave, then that'll make a lot of people happy. I really don't know what I think of those spoilers though. Some of it is interesting, some is a bit out there. I'm all for Sakura taking charge and doing things herself though. :keke:

I don't know if I believe these spoilers. Kurogane is the one who made the deal, so he is the one who should pay for it. It doesn't seem completely right for Yuuko to let just anyone pay the price for someone elses' wish.
Furthermore, wouldn't Kurogane object to Sakura paying for his wish? He seems like he's taken complete responsibility for his actions, and letting Sakura pay for him just doesn't seem very... Kurogane-ish.
But yeah, I don't want a Sakura-journey either. I want OUT of X world. Some Kfness would be nice. Maybe a line of two, or more than 2 pannels >_>

Let Sakura have a bit of her limelight moment! Provided its only for one or two chapters ( any longer and I'll probably snooze while reading). And that they keep Kurogane and Fai visible as much as possible :). The spoiler isn't guaranteed to be 100% correct anyway. Though I do like the rumor that Fuuma is Seishirou's brother. XD

true, but technicaly, since theiyre twins, their blood would be teh same...it wouldnt be the first time yuuko's exploited a loophole.

The reason why Kamui gave his blood was because it was an exchange for Kurogane requesting Subaru's wish. Since Kamui was paying Kurogane for requesting Subaru's wish, I guess that works somehow. I don't know if Kurogane could pass on the payment of the water to someone else, that wouldn't really be fair to Kamui and Subaru, would it? Although I don't think Kamui cares so long as they get the water and then hightail it out of there.
Regardless, Yuuko still needs to be paid. Either way, how the whole wish exchange thing works is still rather confusing.

Kamui isn't paying for Subaru's wish in any way - in fact, Subaru doesn't get any wish from Yuuko. Kuro wishes for the water from Yuuko and to show his gratefulness, Subaru gives him the blood. Or wants to, but Kamui interferes. This trade has nothing to do with Yuuko despite the fact that she made the suggestion to do it this way.

No FK, but very little SS either, not unless you count the clone Syaoran and Sakura...she must have had a hard time, harder than anyone else, for that matter, in coming to terms with clone Syaoran leaving her.

Why would they need the water purified? Isn't that what the feather's for? Isn't that why Sakura let them keep it? And didn't Fuuma say that THEY [the tower group] put the feather in the container?

I completely agree. Sakura really needs some more development especially with all that has gone on lately witht he other characters. I personally think she has been neglected even though the series revolves around her memories. She needs to do something alone.
However, I also 100% agree that I would be pretty unhappy if CLAMP chose to focus on ONLY her during her journey, for whatever reason. I really hope that whatever happens, we have insight to what is going on with all of the characters. Her journey, the X/1999 characters, Huro and Fai, and heck...has anyone else thought of how C!Syaoran was recieved with FWR...? I'd personally like to see what they're doing and what FWR is palnning to do with him. *shrugs*
I guess, if the spoilers are correct they have their ups and downs, but it really is needed for Sakura, but at the same time, I just hope CLAMP chooses to let us know whats going on with everyone else, too. ^.~

Yup. I agree. Sakura needs her screen time. I love steak, but it won't be special if I eat it every day. Same thing with KuroxFai. I think one of the best things about it is how happy I get when all of a sudden there is a little something to squee about, like arm-grabbing. We've been spoiled lately, and that makes us a little greedy I think! I am content with them in the background for now, and I am anxious to get back to the main plotline. And, I loved Sakura in CCS! I want to give her the chance to be that awesome again in TRC! We can't complain that she is boring, then deny her the chance to be, ummm, un-boring.
Bottom line - There is more to enjoy in TRC than KxF. *gasp* I know it's hard to believe, but very few of us started reading it for KuroxFai, so lets enjoy the other stuff for a while, ne?

The main reason why I don't want a Sakura-journey is because I want OUT of X world. We've been here *forever*. And a journey might take quite a few chapters. Plus, I'm interested in seeing how Syaoran fits into the group and how they function now that Fai's injured and Syaoran's gone and Sakura's all scarred. While I agree some Sakura-development is needed, I don't want Sakura to go off alone because I'm more interested as how the group is going to be affected as a whole. Though that's just me.

Isn't it possible that the journey could be in another world? The spoiler isn't really accurate you know... so I think that no matter what happens, we shouldn't be dreading the next chapter but rather hope it will turn out for the best. Remember, spoilers aren't accurate...

I agreee with getting out of this world and seeing how the group functions as a whole, but Sakura really does need this. Also, as a note, we have to remember that though Sakura from CCS shares TRC Sakura's soul, there is an age difference. Unfortuneatly, even with Sakura, she isn't going to be as "insert the perfect word to describe Sakura from CCS", because she has grown and matured a bit more. Plus, she won't be the smae missing her memories. We need to stop comparing the two, and give TRC Sakura a bit more credit. We've been slammed with chracter development from al of the main group but her. We deserve to get to know her better and she deserves our attention.

To me (and to my maybe fresher eyes and neutral ones at that as well), it seems the trouble is beside the amount of talk of one pairing versus the other, also that about some pairings and the members of the pair, no critisism is acceptable.
Suggesting that TRC Sakura is not as interesting (?yet) as the CCS one is not bashing, saying that Sakura needs some character development is neither.
For example in the Jade world, Fai and Kuro could be considered the more boring characters while Sakura had her limelight in being the only one to hear the Princess and Syaoran could rush to the rescue (and walk over tree-roots and read at the same time, that always makes me laugh so hard).
Maybe yes, the bigger amount of KuroFai here has made the SS people more sensitive to critisism but we cannot outlaw it.
Both "sides" are right and wrong at the same time in some respects and that said, we really really need something more definite now about chapter 128. Early scans would always be nice ;).

Well, back to topic - I think we should all just agree on having peace. There shouldn't be two camps who fight for their pairings. There should be one fandom that is united in happiness over each new chapter and to discuss whatever is there to discuss. I like to think of the fandom as one big family where I am understood and can live out my fangirlism completely.

S&S is what got me into CCS&TRC, and everything else CLAMP, but because there are other pairings being talked about more then others at the moment, K&F, hehe, Kamui and Fuma, haha, Kuro and Fai, at the moment, I do hope S&S, not Subaru and Seichiro even that would be nice for them to have a happy ending in at least one world, Sayoran and Sakura yes, will have a spot light too. Our Sayoran that is....I'm so confused, there is so many pairings with S&S, K&F, S&A, ect. in the CLAMP World....
I just want 128 to come out soon, darn....

There really shouldn't be any hostility here. I agree that we should all just calm down and respect CLAMP's decisions, regardless of what happens or doesn't. They always knows whats best, even if it breaks their fans hearts. ^.~

I suppose people will hate me for this...but I adored S+S in CCS but am so-so about them in TRC. The reason being is that I'm not big into the delicate female type that has to be rescued every second. In CCS, Sakura may have been a little clueless but she really rocked. Yes, she was sweet and caring...but she was also athletic and heroic. She held her own. In TSR, she's always being shunted off to the side and seems to display NONE of the athletic or fighting abilities that she had in CCS.
  I realize that she has lost her memories/feathers and this has affected her. But in CCS, she was sick with a fever and still did what she needed to do. I guess I just wonder how she can be so helpless in TSR while her younger self in an alternate reality was so tough in her own way. She roller bladed, jumped, fought, flew, and you name it. Yes, she sometimes needed saving but she was so capable in general. Why the huge difference between the two Sakura's innate personality and athletisism?Â
 Now, I'll definitely say that the whole real/clone Syaoran twist is very cool in it's own way. I still like them as a couple, but I definitely liked the CCS version of Sakura better. I know that will probably make some people very angry. However, that is strictly my **opinion**.
 For those that love this version of S+S...that's great. I don't see the point in wanting everybody to agree with you or feel the same...or like all the same things. I certainly don't see the point in slamming others for stating an opinion or simply talking about other opinions. If you want to talk about S+S or how you feel about each character, go ahead. If you want to talk about Kuro+Fai, go ahead. If you don't like Kuro+Fai, go ahead. If you don't like S+S, go ahead. Egads...sometimes it feels like people want us to become borg-like or something. Sorry folks...I retain my right to think and feel as an individual. And I certainly hope you all do too.

Hmm, now that the new Holic chapter has been leaked, I wonder if Tsubasa will be leaked as well? The fact that it's not might mean that it's nothing too shocking, but then again some of the more shocking chapters haven't been leaked early either.

the spoiler is one we can't really rely on considering it's the same source where the other spoilers came from. they weren't accurate, but that doesn't mean that at least part was true, so it's hard to tell with them.

i'm curious to as the spoiler a couple weeks ago (where it was said that fai would wake up and attack kuro) i want to know if that is completely gone or it just could have been something that will happen later on... if it happens soon when sakura is awake, i wonder how she'll react , she's closest to fai in a motherxdaughter sense and plus she was asleep so i doubt she knows yet what has happened to fai....

 I love anime. I get very into the characters and plots. A friend and I are into Inuyasha and talk about new episodes in the manga like we all talk here. But honestly, it doesn't make me angry if people put down my favorite character.
 I guess for me, it's a matter of perspective. I've fought schools over my autistic son's curriculum and diagnoses. (and in one case won a suit against a school with the state's educational agency) I've been put down as a mother, I've had my son put down, and even my son's doctor's diagnoses and testing methods questioned by school people.
 As into anime and manga as I get, as much as I "love" certain characters...I guess that I just can't see getting so upset over them because somebody else doesn't feel the same. My first exposure to anime was almost 15 years ago. The very first anime I saw was "Fist of the North Star". My friend was watching it. He loved it. I hated it. Still do. I shrugged and went in search of anime I do like. He shrugged and kept watching it.
 This board is supportive of KuoxFai. Many are not and actively bash that pairing. I read, I shrug, I move on. I will, of course, put forth the reasons why **I** like a character or a pairing...I would even go so far as to argue a point if I felt I had the position to do so. But I'm not going to walk away hurt because they don't agree.
 Now that being said, obviously you do. There's not much I can really say because if that's how you feel, that's how you feel. But I guess I'd have to tender a small bit of advice that you can choose to happily ignore if you want to: people are going to discuss characters in forums about manga and anime series. Discussion and opinion of characters are going to happen and there will always be people whose opinions will be the polar opposite of yours. If you choose to frequent boards where such discussions occur, you may want to accept and understand that. If not, you may want to stick with fan sites strictly devoted to the character or pairing you like. You are far less likely to encounter opposing opinions there.
  There are a lot of very nice fan sites and rings devoted to the S+S pairing and to Sakura. Some of the artwork from fans and from the manga of the two are gorgeous. There are fan fiction sites out there that are creative and host a whole range of writing styles and ideas. Not to say that you aren't welcome to stay here and say what you like and why. You are. But you need to find where YOU are comfortable and only you can decide that.

So...the spoilers aren't true, are they? I will be very sad if the rest were left out...but come to think of it, Sakura was left out nearly one quarter of the series...Good to see her doing something since Piffle world and Jade world...and even in Outo. I think she needs to do something by herself for once...let's just hope that it isn't paying for Kuro's wish...because I kind of think that ninjas need to take responsibility for any request...and I hope they move on to another world quick...this world's twist shock is fading...
And...as for this thread's fighting...I think that human feelings are very easy to squish...like a tomato. So, let's get on topic! I want the next chappie quick! ^^

Actually , I kinda believe what the spoiler says, since the source is quite reliable for me, unless if there are two versions of spoiler, at least one of them is true, right..? About Sakura has her action, that's OK, because every manga's character must take turn for ACTION :tongue:, especially if Sakura is the main character
