I bought vol. 14 and 12 this week, whoot! Now I have 3 TRC volumes total... I wish I could get them all... but I'm buying little by little secretly XD I wish I could have gotten vol. 15 but it wasn't released yet... oh well..
anyway, back to the actual topic. As I was reading through vol. 14, I noticed the splash of chapter 107 was different. (if you can't remember how it looks like, look for link in my thread http://www.capturedwings.net/forums/index.php?topic=2558.0 )
Remember how the end of the dresses were either plain black white? Not anymore, the design on the cloves worn by the two are on the dresses too... I wish I could scan it but my scanner is still broken...
I just thought it was strange that CLAMP would "change" their splash page... maybe they didn't before and I didn't notice because I haven't bought the volumes :heh:

Wow, you have a really good eye! My edition has that alteration too. o.o
I notice they tend to change seemingly meaningless details like that, in most of the volumes. Like, in volume 13 when Syaoran first sees the library, he originally said 'Toshokan?'(a library?). In the manga, it was changed to say 'Koko wa?'(This is?).
Maybe it's a game they're playing with those who buy it weekly? ;3

Maybe what happen is they didn't have time to finish the picture for the weekly deadline so they completed it instead for the volume version.

Really? *wishes she had vol. 13* that's interesting.... they should stick or original.. i hate alterations XD
truth me told, I don't like the new addition to the splash... i mean had those swirly designs had been just at the bottom of the dress or something, I would have liked it... but they way they are covering the whole dress (and the designs don't match the folds of the dresses)... I liked it plain better...

I agree. The folds of the dress are lost on this design and it looses its depth and looks really flat. Changing the wording of the manga is one thing, but changing the art is kind of weird. Maybe they weren't finished with it by deadline, but it was a poor decision to change it once it had already been released. >.< Not that it isn't beautiful.... Auu CLAMP...
