Hello!  :hello2: :hello2:

Well, most forums have an award system like this and well, time for this one to have one as well!

Welcome welcome!

Keep in mind that some thing can change at anytime.

What does this Main Thread do?

- The goal for the Main Thread is to discuss the ongoing nominations and ask any questions you need to ask away. Also this is the place to discuss about the Presenters and Graphic Artists!

The Basics

- There are awards for each category for members to nominate and cast their votes in!

- First up, there will be three topics divided via Award Main Categories

Category List


[li]Forum Behavior Awards - This deals with usual stuff about members, usually things like nicest user, funniest user etc.[/li]
[li]Fan Awards - For those who goes crazy about TRC and CCS stuff![/li]
[li]Creativity and Skill - Show off those mad art/writing skills![/li]

Nomination Period

- In those topics, users nominate another user for an award he/she feels fit for that user to get!  :keke:

- Take note though, time doesn't bode nicely! There's a time list for each Category, better go nominate as fast as you can!  :shifty: :shifty:

- The current time limit for Nominations is 2-3 weeks!  :okay:

- After the Nominations end, the six users that got the higest number of nominations will slug it out on Voting Period!

Voting Period

- Once again, three topics will appear and the nominated users will be listed. Vote for the one you want to win!

- Again, there is a time limit for the Voting Period! The time limit hasn't been finalized yet and we'll keep you updated!  :sad5:

- The user that has the most number of votes wins the award! Yay!  :hello2: :hello2:

- Does the user get the award right away? No sir, there will be an Awards Night where Presenters will present the Awards (via a graphic award they can place on their Signature Area) to the winner, and have a speech or two to speak out!

Well those are the basics of how to participate! Remember, nominate the one you want it to win the most!  :hehe: :hehe:

Nominating Rules

- Well, things can get a bit chaotic about nominating but here's the scoop! Just follow these simple rules so you won't get lost!


Voting Rules

- Will be cleaned up (Finalized) at the next Thread Update!

Graphic Artist FAQ

The winners get a nice Award! But of course the Graphic must be cool!

- To join the Graphic Artists Staff, just post in this topic and say you want to make the Award Graphics!

- Also, it would be really nice if you can show us your sample work!

- There! Glad to join the club!

The Graphics are based from the Award Symbols so check them out before doing some!

Award Presenter FAQ

Be the One who will present the winner with the Award!

- Award Presenters are the ones who will present awards in the Awards Night!

- So, you want to be one? Follow this two steps!

     - Post in this topic as a request to be an Award Presenter!

     - You may go choose what Award you want to present!

As you see, it's really simple! So start thinking up what awards you want to present!

Awards List - Know what you're voting for!

- As earlier things said, there are three main categories, now the list of awards to grab in each Category!

- Each award has an Award Symbol representing an Award. They are composed of CLAMP characters! These will be the basis for the Graphics (Pictures of the Award).

- Here's the list! Start brainstorming!

Final List of Awards and Symbol Meanings (with Legendary Ranks)

Forum Behavior Awards (Legendary Sakura Kinomoto Award - For members with 2 awards in different categories)

Fan Awards (Legendary Li Syaoran Award - For members who won two awards in different categories)

Creativity and Skill Awards (Legendary Tomoyo Daidouji Award - For members who won 2 awards in different categories)

[li]Best Singer (Hikaru/Umi/Fuu Award)

Please keep in mind that this is only an award that has been put together as a fun concept for all of our great CapturedWings member. It's not the end of the world if you don't get nominated or win and should not be taken seriously. If it goes well, we plan on making this an annual event.

With that said, I am exempt from being nominated or winning any awards but I will be doing some nominations here and there. Best of luck to the awards and to everyone :)

Glad to see this is finally put up ^_^ I was wondering when it would be finalized. I'm more than happy to show my support. This should truly be an interesting outcome.

It's not exactly finalized yet. Notice how the title says v0.1b. It's not in its final stage yet, and very well, as we still haven't clarified many things.

As stated previously, my photobucket is open to anyone that needs pictures for the awards. You can search through and choose any, but please credit me. I would do the graphics myself, but I don't have a program to do it, and I don't know how.

Oh by the way, I kinda hope we get alot of award presenters!

Zeldi - I love the pic size! They fit well.

Emethyst - I kinda agree that the graphics are a bit overdecorated. But I like your design as well.

You should start to discuss what awards which will go for.

Update! It's now V 0.5 Delta

Due to our Awards Night looms near, please bear in mind that the start of this got delayed a bit. Sorry about that!

Will add the Alternate Awards List!

I want to point this out just in case there's any questions. As you know, a few long-standing members recently left here however please feel free to nominate them in any category. After all, there were (and still are) contributing members of the community :)

Maybe we should really slash off some that not that important.. Just don't know what stuff though... You could ask the others as well...
