...Well, I'm not sure if it's okay to restart this but welcome to the new girl thread. Feel free to continue from where you girls started in the last one.

Hehe, I never posted in the old girl thread, so I figured I'd at least try it out since there's a new one! What do you guys usually talk about, outta curiousity? I'm too lazy to flip through the many pages of the old thread.

Usually we complain about periods, or if we have a boyfriend, and sometimes we go completely off-topic and talk about a movie or homework  :sweatdrop: I suggest that we don't do that anymore. Let's stick to bit**ing about our periods and anything else that only girls talk about  :sweatdrop:

Ok, I will start, lol. I'm going crazy >.<

The weather is so hot, and its going crazy. Yesterday, the temp got to over 40 degree out side, and it was over 45 in my work. So I was left out early, because we were about to die in there. So I went on my bus. And I fell asleep for only 5 mintures. I close my eyes, when I open them. It was pitch dark, the wind was crazy, the lights were on the bus, and so was the street lights. I got off the bus, and then the rain came down hard. All of this happen in 30 minutes. Power was out everywhere, but my house, and it was crazy. In a small town, boats have been turn over and are now on the ground. But this all happen in 30 minutes in Northen Ontario. O_O

So as I was saying before. Its now back to hot, and I want to go swiming. Because I'm dead. The heat is crazy, and its so bad, that my step-mom got a heat rash because of the muggy air. And I can't go because of my dame period.  :angry:  And by the looks of it. When I'm on my period, the heat is going up again.

One thing bad about summer is having a period during it. >_< Especially when it's so freakin' hot! @_@ My face starts to sweat at night.

I'm in Northern Ontario too, Ashlee, so I know what you're going through! It's been so hot here, and my house has no air conditioning. The air is THICK with humidity, you can feel it whenever you walk around outside.

Thankfully I haven't gotten my period yet, but... it's due soon. Gyaaah!

I hope you are not around Sudbury. We just got a crazy storm, and people around Sudbury are going nuts. Power is out, trees everywhere, the hottness is back, and its hard to mvoe around. Sudbury is lucky, because we live in the big whole so we don't get much storms. But when we do, they are big.

I hate having my period. You know what is wrost. Having it during the heatwave, and watching all your brothers playing the pool, and getting people to go to the beach.  :angry:

When I said complain about our boyfriends, not getting guys because they have girlfriends counts kuro_woof-chan *huggles* We're all here for you.

And I am hot as well! Why is it when one girl on here gets her period all the girls get it! I'm on my 4th day now. It should end soon, I hope >_< I it's so heavy this time! It was so bad the first day that I could barely stand up! And what's worse, no menstural pills!! Had to use a hot water bottle which did the trick.

lol. That is true. I think when one person says it, then every one comes out from the dark, and say it they have it too. Some one has to break the ice first :lol:

Moezy-chan at least you are allow to have pills. I can't take them. When I was young, I had a very bad infection, because of baths, so I can't take anything, that might affect anything below, you know. Its hard to explain, and kind of embarresing. But that is how it is for me. Every time I get cramps I have to live with it. If it gets really bad, and I can barly move. I still have to go to school and everything. >.<

Kinda embarassing but personally, I prefer to wear pads with wings. ...They seem to stick on better.

First couple days are always the worst for me. And winged pags are the best to use if you're still intimidated by the thought of tampons (which I am, lol.)

I hate pads. But my step-mom buys them. She doesn't like me using tampons. But I love using them. I never look at the page with the rules and stuff. I try it once, and I never look back. I feel much more comforable. Pads....I feel like I"m wearing something else. Some times I feel it >.< and the smell. I like using tampons much more. But I have to buy them my self, and I hate going to buy them. Because everyone looks at you, and they know that you are on it. And the guys O_O

yeah. I hated that infection. I had it when I was really young. It had to do with my bladder, and some other stuff, and well, (I put it in spolilers, because it is really embarssing)

I couldn't control when I go to the bathroom. So my parents would always get mad at me, and everything. When they split up, and I got suck moving in with my aunt until they start calming down. My aunt would yell at me, and everything. She told me that i was a baby and everything, and how I can't grow up. I was about 7.

So, after a year or two,  I went to the doctors and they did test on me, and found out the problem and everything. My aunt still hasn't said sorry to me. I bet she still thinks its stupid. Well, its pretty good. Every since I stop taking bath and using sunlight. Nothing has happen. Its just when I start taking baths, it will start again. >.< So I don't think I will get over it.

The doctor told my parents, that its not common for girls to have these infections. Even some guys have it, but its really rare. Usually girls tend to grow out of it after 10 ten years, but I don't think I will happen to me. And I don't want to take a chance.

Again, I'm going to disagree with you. You can't assume that all people are alike just because of gender, and frankly I'm getting sick of it. I'm asking you kindly, for the last time, quit being so judgmental. I won't be responsible for my temper next time, though it probably doesn't matter since you ignore my posts as always.

As for being vunerable, not all women are. I'm not like that. I'm tomboyish by nature and I deal with heartache in my own way. I learn to rely on myself and not on others. It's not just gender; it's also attitude, culture, and upbringing. All those play factors in a persons' attitude.

Well to tell the truth. I think its a bit harder for guys.

When we have a crush on someone, we usally have a group of girls who know and you just talk. Kind of like here in the girl thread. We are not really afraid to talk on how we feel.

But for guys, its very odd to them if they talk about their feelings. Not all guys feel the same way, but most do. They don't always tell their "boys",  because they don't like to talk about their feelings, and some guys like to tease about it. So I find that guys may have it wrost in this area.

Also, when a guy comes up to us, and ask us out, or something. We A) OMG he finally ask me, B)Ok, is he joking with me C)um...no way.  For some guys they take all the courage to ask us, and well if we say yes then it was worth it. But then we girls usually tells our friends and you get ready. As for guys They >_> I don't know what they do, but they do something to freack the guy out or made him weird.

This is just my  thought though. I guess we have to ask like 100 girls and 100 guys and make them fill out a poll or something  :sweatdrop: lol

Yeah, go tomboys! I'm too strong myself  :sweatdrop: My one sister weighs twice as much as me, and I'm known to make her out of breath when she's fighting me O_O she can barely stand from it.  And she's 3 inches taller than me. I can be scary when mad. You never want to see that. You've all seen me annoyed, but never mad, and I hope you never do. You wouldn't like me anymore  :sweatdrop:

I'm abit of a tomboy myself. I'm usually seen out with a baseball cap, trousers and a T-shirt (sometimes a sports T-shirt), but at times I can be abit girly, but not too girly. One of my friends back at school says to me that I act more like a boy then a girl because I play on video games, like shonen manga and have a sports bag. I don't know why some people here in the UK classify's video games as a boys thing because there are some girly games avaliable right?

That's what I do when I'm really mad. I have such a horrible temper that it's better if I ignore you than fight with you. If I fought, you could get hurt  :sweatdrop: but then the silence does get really horrible. I once went a whole month without talking to my sister. I can get instantly quiet and then I refuse to talk at all.

Not really sure. I always thought tomboys were girls that didn't like pink, refused to wear dresses, and rather play football than play with dolls. That was me growing up. Boys were afraid to fight me. I was pretty tough. I still am I guess. Though now I allow myself to be more feminine, like wearing dresses, but I will never wear makeup or pink >_< You couldn't pay me to do that.

Lipstick makes me feel uncomfortable and earrings piercing hurt! That's why I'll never wear them. I just hope people won't mistake me for a guy when I cut my hair (someday) really short.

Well, for me, I hate to wear girly stuff and dresses. Even though I hate pink and light blues, it goes great on me, so I endup wearing it. I do wear makeup, but Its not like I spent hours on it. I juse spend like 5 minutes and that is it. I"m do wear girly stuff, but not girly girly stuff.

Yeah, I'm the same way! I'm telling you Ashlee-chan, we're too much alike! I do like to look feminine, but at the same time, I like to look tomboyish. I have a style that shows I'm very feminine yet masculine at the same time. Does that make sense?  :sweatdrop:

yep. I know what you mean. I do like to look my greatest, but also at the same time I don't want to look like a girly girl, because that is who I am. Also, my favorite outfit is girly, and yet not girly.

I don't like wearing really loose clothing because here in the UK tight clothing are more in fashion. I feel so out of fashion wearing really loose clothing.

I don't like too tight clothing either because my stomach is fat & also my legs is fat, so I try not to wear anything too tight

Techinically whether fashionable or not, I can't wear tight clothing. It's not good for my ulcer. I don't wear baggy clothes though. I usually wear my size clothing. Nothing too tight; nothing too loose.

I wear earrings once in a while. Not a lot. They usually bug my ears, so I don't really wear them.

The only thing I really wear is bands. You know the "live strong" ones. I have so many of them. Right now, I'm wearing four on each hand.
Left: "power of sports, beast cancer, live strong, ctv Canadian Idol"
Right:  Drunk Driving, Live 8, Lasalle Secondary School (my school), red cross
And girls, that is not all of them. I have about 5 more at home...well maybe more then 5.

As for me in clothing. I wear hip bootcut jeans from old navy. yes, I love those jeans. I bought a whole wack of them. I also have one tight pair of jeans that I don't wear often, but I wear to school events kind of thing. I also have some pants that are like a jump thing, but not really. I wear long t-shirts with those small jackets. Lets say this. I buy from clothing from Old Navy and Sitches  :sweatdrop:

The only thing I really wear is bands. You know the "live strong" ones. I have so many of them. Right now, I'm wearing four on each hand.
Left: "power of sports, beast cancer, live strong, ctv Canadian Idol"
Right:? Drunk Driving, Live 8, Lasalle Secondary School (my school), red cross
And girls, that is not all of them. I have about 5 more at home...well maybe more then 5.

As for me in clothing. I wear hip bootcut jeans from old navy. yes, I love those jeans. I bought a whole wack of them. I also have one tight pair of jeans that I don't wear often, but I wear to school events kind of thing. I also have some pants that are like a jump thing, but not really. I wear long t-shirts with those small jackets. Lets say this. I buy from clothing from Old Navy and Sitches :sweatdrop:

When I wear eyeliner, I look like a b***h . (:

I bet he will find you. I remember a show that is coming on TV, and it says. That every one here, meets the person right for you or is link to a person that has met or knows the person for you. (omg i'm sounding like chobits  :sweatdrop:)

Well, to put what I said in english (I suck at explaining things :lol:). I bet you have met him or know someone that has met him. So there is always some one there out for you. No matter what. Oh... I'm bumping this thread O.o

but I seriously now need help from all you girlies and thought that this was the best place to post this.

The problem is that I have a very good friend called Spence and I have known him for about 2 years. Back in May I went with him to the Expo and he brought along a friend and after the Expo I never realised that his friend has got a crush on me until round August time. The main thing which is making me feel uncomfortable is that I don't feel the same way as him and we are going to the Expo again in October and Spence's friend is now going abit hyper, he has been saying things to me on MSN such as "my sexy friend", "I want to share a bed with you at the hotel" and many other simliar things which I'm not going to list. I told him several times that I don't want him calling those type of stuff and I'm not interested, but he still carries on. I usually would be really nasty to boys who don't give up on me, but I don't know what to do since he is Spence's friend and I don't want Spence to hate me.

Any advice?

Hey everyone! I'm sorry to hear about that Wolf blossom, but I must have to say that I'm also sorry to say that your bestfriend and the guy are people who don't understand others. As tsukihime said everyone has the rights to fall in love, even though your feelings are not returned your doing the right thing to let your bestfriend be with him and try to get over him. Saying you can't like him to yourself when he heared you is implying that you are trying your best to get over him, so I don't see how thats betraying your best friend. I think you should talk to your best friend and tell her everything which is the truth and if she is a friend then she will listen to you and understand, but if she doesn't understand, then I'm sorry to say that she is NOT a best friend anymore.

There's this guy I like and we do an afterschool thing together every Thursday. I like him a lot. Apparently, (he told my friend Shelby, who told me right afterwards) he had taken a girl out Friday night (I'm unclear whether it was a date-date or a 'let's hang out' kind of date) and had asked her whether he could kiss her. She had said yes, and from what I remember, they did. Then Shelby tells me that this girl that the guy I like kissed currently has a boyfriend. Somehow, this girl's boyfriend found out and was really upset about it. For some reason, I don't think they broke up because they guy I like was talking to Shelby (I overheard this part) and he says, "I really like her and she really likes me." He sound somewhat upset when he said this, so I'm assuming that this girl and her boyfriend didn't break-up. The guy I like is one of my friends, not one of my CLOSE friends, but one of my friends nonetheless. I want to stop liking him but I just can't . I know that sounded REALLY stupid, but still... I really want to stop liking him because he always likes another girl and I always feel all sad and stuff inside....I just want to stop being hurt all the time. What the heck should I do?????

umm... well, from what i can see, the boy you liked just made a glitch (right?) or a scratch in a relationship...

coz  y'see, if he really likes that girl, he would first try to figure out if she has a boyfriend already... but if he doesn't... it's the girl's problem... if she has a boyfriend already, she shoudn't have allowed the boy you liked to kiss her...

I did what u guys told me to do about my problem of my best friend and the guy i like...well we're not friends anymore...we got into a fight and well like i said my bad attitude pissed her off she slapped me i was about to hit her but One of my friends stopped me saying she wasn't worth it....i guess he and you guys were right.....i see them in school and all but i ignore her. I personally think you should. I mean, what's the worst thing that can happen? He'll stop talking to you. And if he does, it proves that he's not worth dating, or even to be friends with. If he TRULY likes you for the person you are (as a friend), then he won't let your (and his) feelings get in the way of having a friendly relationship. Last school year, the guy I like found out that I liked him...through the grapevine, unfortunately, and I want to slap that *bleeping* *bleep*bag for telling him....(-___-)...and we're still friends. And, hehe, trust, we are NOT the best of friends. We get into so many "friendly" arguments. haha. Anyway, just talk to him. You'll regret not saying anything if you don't do it now. Awwww, I know how you feel because all my friends has either got a boyfriend or girlfriend where as I'm the only person single. but as LSD said having a boyfriend means having responsibilities and sometimes bad things happen like when one of my friends had a boyfriend, he cheated on her.

As charcoalz said, falling in love with people over the net is different then meeting them in real life. I onced talk to this girl on the net and she seemed really sweet & shy, but when I met her she was really LOUD and not so sweet. Everyone on the net is different then what you will expect in real life.

I once did like this guy I talked to over the net, but I knew I can not fall in love with him until I actually meet him and you know what? I did saw him at this Anime event and he was such a nice and sweet guy, but unfortunately he didn't return my feelings..... oh well.... he did had the rights for rejection if he didn;t feel the same way.

OMG OMG Bear is a complete idiot about love! But she will try. 
Well * patpat* Some people met on the net and some of them fell in love and got married. I don't say it's impossible to have such a relationship on the net but you'd better think carefully. As Strawberry-sama said above, people are far different from what they really are in real life.  It's hard to think that a sweet kind-hearted guy you met on the net is really just a stupid lady-killer. o___________o

ZOMG! Okay, I'm i a dilemma. so in swimming, the school season is almost over. SO we do these things called mock awards, where you pick a person out of a hat and secretly sneak digging up secrets and exploiting them. well i'm almost POSITIVE that my friend got me and she told me that she's planning to REVEAL TO THE GUY I LIKE THAT I LIKE HIM. (btw, this is a new guy,....sorta  ^^") i have no idea how she's going to do it, but she told another girl her plan who told another girl and they all said it was a VERY GOOD chance that he'll actually find out i [still] like him [from 8th grade]. i don't really talk to him that much anymore, but at the end of 8th grade, he promised me that we'll be friends throughout high school. SO, should i go up to him and tell him not to believe ANYTHING said fromthe mouths of girls on the swim team?! or do i let it unfold, and embarrass myself AGAIN [he found out in 8th grade i liked him...-___-]? either way, i seem to embarrass myself in some way...-__-.

hehehe, they broke the news to me...they were just bluffing. there WAS NO PLAN. ha.  :XD:

God I love that attractive boy-ish hairstyle. It's so cool. But yeah it all depends on your face and other stuff. I suggest you shouldn't cut your hair like that if you have round face. But I'm sure you'll look very prettyyyyyyyy. Just give it a try girl. If it didn't suit you, well it would grow back! Hey that's just my personal idea. Please don't kill me if it turns out to be a bad one. OK? * pray*

That hairstyle looks very cute. Like Yummy Candy Bear said, it depends on your face shape. But I'm sure it will look awesome. However, its your decision.

Thats a cute hairstyle, but I think everyone has already given you the answer which is it all depends on your face shape and you got to think carefully if it will suit you. Not all nice hairstyles suit every individuals.

about the hair, yeah, i thought about the type of face i've got
and just decided to cut my bangs like that and just cut my back hair
to the shoulder length ^^;; but i would really like to try that style one day
when im not scared ^^;;

p.s. sometimes, the hair style could be really pretty (like that one) but could be reallly ugly in reality (o_O)
Fujioka haruhi(ouran)'s hair is really cute, but could be weird in reality ^^;;

Don't mean to sound rude or anything (just curious), what would you do if you are having a relationship with a guy who you are totally in love with, and he asks you to marry him? Or if you accidently fally pregant?

If you ae afaid about the pain of giving birth, you can get a c-section. I know (here is aus) that if you are gonna give birth naturally, the doctors give you drugs to ease the pain - my cousin was given that opinion, but she refused - she regretted that XD and that was with her first child and now she is pregant with her second

Pregnancy and sex looks painful. And I can't handle a baby... I'm not good with kids!

I might adopt a kid myself... No pain of pregnancy to go through and a poor kid will finally have a home!

Might is because I predict I will financially troubled in the future.

I might seem too childish to be a girlfriend much less wife. I refuse to drive a car (dangerous), hate makeup or a dress (makes me uncomfortable), and I have a bad body. (Not sure if I could be called fat or not... But I have rough skin and such.)
