Title: How to convert Vob into Avi ?

Hello,
Am having some trouble on how to convert a Vob into Avi. Can anyone help me step by step? I know that this a lot to ask ... but please am at the end of my rope here!!! So if anyone could help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

um yea, you could use virtual dub?
