Title: taking screenshots frame by frame
Post by: kudan on April 11 2006, 11:30 pm
Recently, I started getting interested in making animated gifs from scenes of Tsubasa (something like my avatar), but almost everything was done manually, like pressing play and pause on window media player as fast as possible to get the next frame. However, this method is tedious and quite inaccurate. So I was wondering, if there's any user-friendly programs that allow me to take screenshots of .avi files frame by frame (which means 24 frames per second)?

i think virtual dub will answer your question.  it has mark in and mark out button and can capture/ save image in sequence.
