There's actually an interesting theory that the others may be the Seven Dragons instead of the Seven Seals, that in this world Kamui chose to be a Dragon instead. Can't see that as very likely, but it's a possibility. I've always wondered what exactly would happen if Kamui chose differently. Hinoto gave a quick summary about what would have happened in X, but it wasn't detailed at all.

There is no WAY that kid is Kamui. I mean seriously, unless he got plastic surgery and stole someone else's face... it's just NOT. CLAMP's art style hasn't changed THAT much since X. >_o Of course, I'll probably have to eat my words in chapter 109, but really now.
In other news, am I the only one who's noticed that Fai's been much more expressive (like, facial expressions) since Syaoran got sucked into the book of memories? I was especially noticing it this chapter, but then I looked back, and it's been going on for a while... or am I crazy?

That is Kamui. If you read the katakana next to the kanji on the last page, it says 'Kamui.' (I can't read kanji, but I can read katakana and hiragana.)
And Fai has been somewhat more expressive, I agree. Actually, I'm really disappointed... They set up this whole big moment with Fai using his magic, and how... nothing comes of it? (still has hopes for Kuro-chan dragging Fai off to demand more explanation in a chapitre or two.)

Now, now, all you Kamui-doubters! I believe it's some world's version of him, obviously not ours, because he seems to be playing the part of a DoE. Although... it looks like his accompaniment looked like the Seals, in my opinion, but you can't really tell with those damn capes in the way! >.< (capes are sexy, but not practical when a mystery bish is under one.)
Now... my thoughts on this Kamui - it's certainly Kamui. His general 'shape' seems very Kamui to me. *shrug* Think about it - the way CLAMP draws things today is a lot different from Cardcaptor Sakura, for example. They possibly can't draw Kamui exactly the way they used to now. I mean, has anyone seen the Kiseki cover version of him? Looks rather similar to this version.
And one last thought on how it can't not be Kamui -
It sure as hell ain't Fuuma.

Finally, Kamui! I've been wondering when he'd show up... And I think Jeannette's theory might be quite true. For a moment I was thinking that Tsubasa is really crossing over with X, but seeing as CLAMP hasn't exactly done this before, I'm not sure if things are changing now.

Nya~~~h, none of the other crossovers changed that drastically in art, even the RG Veda ones, and CLAMP hasn't drawn THEM in YEARS. I actually DO think it's a Kamui imposter.
....Well... at least, I think it'd be really cool if it was. XD
In any case, I'm glad X is crossing over, whether or not it's our Kamui. So what say you about the power coming from below? Beast is a possobility, or some sort of underground civilization to escape the acid rain...? That last bit would go against the idea of X's end of the world I spose, so it's unlikely. We'll just stay curious untill 109.

Um, yeah the styles DID all change as much as in X... First of all, the style used in RG Veda is almost IDENTICAL to the style used in X (at least in earlier volumes) so to say RG Veda's style didn't change as much as X's style doesn't really make sense...
And I seriously doubt it's a Kamui imposter.. If CLAMP wanted to make a Kamui imposter, why wouldn't he just be identical to the REAL Kamui? Why would they "change the style he's drawn in"? That would be... kind of stupid...
If he IS an imposter (Which I doubt with my life.) trust me, it ain't because he's drawn differently. And when the "real" Kamui shows up, he'll be drawn in the exact same "imposter" way.

Well, CLAMP hasn't given up on it as far as we know, but they've had some problems with the publisher and its still unfinished. T_T But yes... Kamui does seem to have a following of squeeing fangirls for some reason.... not unlike our Syaoran... ^^;;

Erm, actually CLAMP never gave up on a single series, contrary to popular belief... It's that their publishers won't let them have the endings they choose sometimes.. So CLAMP is putting those stories on hold until that whole thing gets worked out.. IF it ever gets worked out.
And yes, Kamui is hot. I really don't think he's very Syaoran-like though.. Maybe in some ways he is, but there are still a ton of ways in which he isn't, as well. I'd say that beyond them both being kind-hearted and brave, they don't have much in common. Except their hair... XD

Um, is it ok to say that I found it funny that a lot of people didn't reconize Kamui?Â
And now onto my little rant ^_^ Clamp's style has changed dramatically since their older mangas, so it's right to say Of course Kamui as well as every other cross over character looks odd. But I think Kamui looks very much like his X counter part. The only difference is the lack of shading in the hair and eyes *Clamp has been lazy with the eyes and hair if you haven't noticed already* Now there are a lot of theories going around about this, so I'll express two: Kamui joined the Seven Seals and Fuuma and his companions somehow found a way to destroy Earth, leaving only the seven seals alive. They might of mistook Syaoran as an allie of their enemies. Or, the roles were switched...Fuuma went to the seven seals and Kamui went to the dragons of earth (?). I can totally see both happening. Afterall, Tsubasa!Kamui and X!Kamui lived in different realms, so they could be different in a sense

Ellie dear, I agreed with everything you said. Seriously. Though somehow I'm leaning towards it being the Seven Seals... I don't know. I just think that the one guy who made the joke about Syaoran's kicks being cool is Sorata. That's something Sorata would say (and underneath the cloak it kinda looks like Sorata), and I can't imagine one of the Angels making a comment like that. And I'm highly doubtful that it's random new characters. Why would CLAMP take the time to create six new brand-new characters to hang around Kamui when they could just use the ones he already has? Though perhaps it's a mix of the Angels and Seals- that would be cool.
(sidenote- your signature. ZOMG. That made me snort. Sadly, as much as we would all like to see Kuro and Fai get together,I agree there likely won't be any wedding dresses or wedding clothes in general involved even if they do get together. Despite the fact that I wrote a fic in which Fai and Tomoyo discussed Tomoyo's desire to create the clothes for the wedding. And there's too much angst between the two of them for them to go skipping off into the sunset.)

The hair color and the hair length are really the only Kamui-like things about him. But moving on, since I've already been told up and down 20 times that I'm an idiot. XD
I do think it's the 7 seals. This may be a strange argument but if you look at the symbol on their clothes, it'sd something like a black dragon and a white dragon overlapping- I'm assuming the white as the seals and the black as the earth, going by all those funny pictures of Kamui with a black and a white wing- and the white dragon is in the front. Plus the halo-type thing, dragons of HEAVEN... ok, now I'm just using the same BS technique I use on my lit teacher.
But really, that little bicker-y bit does sound like Sora and Arashi.

Go back and look at the last chapter of CCS and compare how Syaoran is drawn there to that in Tsubasa BIG DIFFERENCE! Not so much with the anime but from the manga his eyes and hair are quite different. It's not so surprising Kamui has changed a bit and been given the same eyes as Syaoran, rather than the big girl eyes he had before O.o. Especialy when the style of X and Tsubasa are so different. I think its real (as real as an AU story can get anyway) Kamui. I kinda prefer this Kamui (killed by fan girls), he's better looking with those eyes ^^.

I wonder if Yuzuriha and/or K... (GAHHH! cant remember his name! the guy she likes >.>) will show up, they met them before in Outo remember? And Inuki, they probably wont be able to see him tho, except maybe Sakura.

So why hurt poor Syaoran with an arrow, then just having Sorata, or some other Seal/Angel, shock him a little with his power? I hope people arn't lost....Hay, lets make a list who might show up, I hope Subaru and Kakyo will be in the mix, or it could be someone from another manga, Like Legal Drug's Rikudo.

I think maybe they 'changed' Kamui a bit so he appeals to the fangirls more. I must say, I kinda like the cutey type they have going on now, better than the old X style. But when I looked at that comparison pic, I also noticed that the eyes mysteriously changed from light to dark with both Kamui and Syaoran. Is that with other characters too?

I'm kind of hoping for that theory, just to see who would be in the mix and because it would be something different. I hope most of all that it's not random CLAMP characters or new characters, because that would just seem weird to have them all following Kamui. (Unless it was like the CLAMP Detectives... that actually sounds a little cool XD But not as cool as having the Seals.)
Those two are totally Sorata and Arashi, like everyone seems to be thinking, I agree. I questioned it to myself because of "Sorata"s lack of an accent, but then it was one little line and I know just about nothing about Osaka-ben (my Osaka-ben begins and ends with Kero-chan and even then I skipped over half his lines trying read XD) so it's entirely possible.
Too bad we have to wait another week for the next chapter...

Hmm, I think like Hira said, they're probably not actually the Seals from X, but rather different-dimensional-whatever versions of them, so they wouldn't have their same powers from X, I'm guessing, so hence the arrows?

In the dream, Arashi and Sorata were nowhere to be found... Maybe that's what Sorata meant when he said that he owed Yuuko a favor, that and the fact that Arashi "used" to be a witch, and Sorata is a teacher who teaches history because he doesn't want people to forget the past <- Very Ten no Ryu, not forsaking for the future, but I digress

I so agree with you!! I love archers to no extent and I practice whenever I can, even though I suck...but crossbowers are just wannabe archers. Its so cheating having a bunch of people with crossbows to someone who is unarmed. I cannot wait for the next chapter.

One day K and F's mother was brutaly killed Kamui and His mother moved out soon after, she had died to bare the sword that Kamui would use much later, a 2nd sword is later born by Kamui's aunt. Years later Kamui's mother dies in a fire and tells him to return to Tokyo to face his destiny. There Kamui must choose to join the dragons of heaven or earth. Heaven means he will try to save the world as it is, to save humans. Earth means he will bring the destruction of humans to save nature and the enviroment. He chooses Heaven not knowing that he has a "twin star" when he becomes Kamui of the Dragons of Heaven, Fuuma becomes Kamui of the dragons of Earth. Fuuma kills Kotori and works towards destroying Tokyo with the dragons of Earth (Including Seishiro and Kusanagi) while Kamui deos a rather bad job of trying to save it with the Dragons of Heaven (inc. Yuzuriha, Sorta, Arashi and Subaru) as well as bringing back his friend Fuuma.

The Monou family live at the Togakushi Shrine, and include Kyougo the father, Saya the mother, Fuuma the son, and Kotori the daughter. And Saya and Touru's deaths weren't accidents or murder: they commit suicide. Saya sacrifices herself to give birth to the Holy Sword that Kamui is supposed to use in the battle. Touru burns herself to death to take on the misfortunes of the Earth. Kamui chooses to be a Dragon of Heaven specifically to protect Fuuma and Kotori. Kamui originally had been pushing Fuuma and Kotori away from him, in order to protect them by keeping them away from the battle over the future of the Earth. Only when he stops pushing them away does he decide that the world and humanity are worth saving, if only for their sake. It is later revealed that if Kamui had chosen to keep pushing Fuuma and Kotori away, he would have had no one he cared about, no reason to save the world; in that case, he would have chosen to become a Dragon of Earth and destroy humanity. After Kamui chooses, however, Fuuma then becomes the Dragon of Earth, taking the place Kamui left empty, because he is Kamui's Twin Star. When this happens, Fuuma's personality does a complete turnaround. He grants people's wishes, no matter what they are; that's why he kills Kotori: Kotori wished to die to save Kamui and Fuuma. However, Fuuma's own wish can only be granted by Kamui; we don't know what this wish is yet, though. The story leaves off on the final day, just as Fuuma seems to be attacking Kamui and Kamui seems to be realizing his own true wish.
