Man, what a disappointment. Doesn't look like Fai explained anything at all... Well, atleast something interesting happened. This new world looks kinda creepy. Like a wrecked version of the Hanshin republic...

Ah, trust Fai to try and withhold info. I was hoping CLAMP would slash this chapter from here to...somewhere far away. There were other interesting things though, like the Syaoran-clone awakening and this desolate, new world. Also, is that acid rain?

Uuugh.:dodge: I should have known CLAMP wouldn't reveal anything about Fai this soon. You want to hate them for it, but it's just so damn LIKE Fai to try to brush it off as nothing that you can't really begrudge their decision. I assume, anyway, since reading Japanese isn't one of my talents. Still, the picture of him looking out over the ruins of this world is lovely, and the new world in itself looks really cool- almost like the direct opposite of the previous one. So, not a bad chapter in it's entirety, just incredibly disappointing in terms of Fai backstory. Hopefully Kurogane and Fai will have one of their little "talks" and we'll get at least some kind of hint.
Acid rain is so cool.
Does anyone know when the next chapter comes out?

This world seems damn cool but my first thought was also that this is a version of Tokyo out from 1999/x! Maybe a world where Kamui descided to destroy it...o.0
But it's so awesome that the other Syaoran awakes! Cool!!!

*finishes squeeing over Xing Huo on the cover and actually reads it*
I had a feeling CLAMP wouldn't be so nice to us. And it wouldn't be like Fai to just pour out his whole past all of a sudden. Aah, at least a *hint* would have been nice! Fai kind of vaguely says that the 'magic using sound' that he just used is different from the magic that he was taught. (So I guess that means he doesn't consider that 'using his magic'?) Kuro doesn't buy it, of course, and tells him 'magic is magic', and Fai gives him this kind of cryptic 'maybe'.
This new world is pretty interesting... I wonder if there's anyone else on it. And X was the first thing I thought of, too! That picture of Fai looking out over the ruins is haunting and beautiful.
Acid rain, huh? Kind of disappointing.. o_O;; But I wonder what happens now that other-Syaoran is awake...
And I find the cover really interesting. I never thought of it before, but if Syaoran has his dark side, why shouldn't Sakura have a darker counterpart to balance things out? Makes me wonder just what Xing Huo's purpose is. Now that I think of it, so much of Tsubasa is yin and yang... Fai and Kuro, Syaoran and Syaoran, Fei Wong and Yuuko....

Mina is back from the dead! No, not really :sweatdrop: Just can't come to forums much anymore.... until i get my own computer back... but this chapter... i just cannot leave it without saying something about it...
AHHHHHH FWR Syao is awake!! Seems like Yuuko knew about it the existance of the other Syao. I've been waiting for this moment (along with everyone) ever since introcution of Syao2.... I had to hold my scream of "Yes! Finally!" but couldn't help myself from jumping around the room, lol.
I just hope CLAMP doesn't leave it as that and won't talk about him... like they did with Fai with this chapter.... I was a bit disappointed too, but awakening of Syao2 made it up for me....
At least CLAMP isn't as bad as Aoyama Gosho writing Detective Conan... he always loves to put up chapters involving Black Organization and then don't have any chapters related to that for another 50 chapters.. it's no surprising there are 555+ chapters of DC, haha...
anyway, back to topic.... I cannot wait for next week~~!!

I really like your points, Pikari, about Xing Huo possibly being to Sakura as dark Syaoran is to our Syaoran and all the ying/yang aspects of Tsubasa. Never thought of it either, but it makes a weird sense. FWR=Yuuko, evil!Syaoran=Syaoran, Xing Huo=Sakura? Fascinating. I was floored by the splash page... so pretty. I wish it were colored. Le sigh. And I think X is what every one thought of when they saw those ruins. Anxiously awaiting the translation.

KYAAAAA!! Evil-Syao!! This is too cool!! I can't tell you how LONG I've been waiting for him to do more than just float, all sleepy-like. O.o
He's going to be popping up more, I think.
But this new world SO looks like the ruined version of Tokyo from X.... CLAMP can't hide Kamui from us forever!! It also looked kind of like Hanshin too. Just a bit. Mostly looked like Tokyo, though.

Well this was an interesting chapter, with the awakening of the dark syaoran. But I was a little disappointed I really want to know about Fye is past.
To me the world look like it have been hit by an atomic bomb and that is why everything is destroy and desert and with the acid rain. Sorry I haven't read X. :D

...Secondly; OMG. HE WOKE UP. O_O Obvious thing I noticed, is that HIS eye has a patch over what would be Syaoran's good eye...maybe...he's Syaoran's past? (I haven't exactly been around for an speculation on this, so...sorry if this has already been said ^^;;...)

Somehow I felt that Clamp wouldn't be so nice as to give us Fai's history too. How just like them to keep us holding our breaths for a week. ^_~ Now I just want next week's chapter to see if our X hypothesis is correct...

Its kinda funny, I was talking to a friend who knows nothing about TRC about Syao-2, and I mentioned how much I wanted him to wake up and she was all 'Okay...I'm sure he will...-runs away-' And now he has! I had a feeling it'd happen. I completely fangirled as I read it, resisting the urge to laugh insanely because it was just completely awesome.
As to Fai completely avoiding all questions, I think it was exactly the kind of thing he would do, so I can't be completely upset with him for not revealing his past, or more details about his magic. Twould be nice for future chapters...like...soon. Very.

That's my CLAMP, all right, never to tell anything until the end. I wouldn't want Fai to start talking about his past, either. I feel that Kuro-chan and Sakura are the most normal of the two. Now that the other Syaoran is waking up, I'm feeling that the Syaoran with the right blind eye is going to lose control of himself more often. Like that time when Fuuma was only a step away from insanity.
Yeah, I feel that it's X, too... But, hey, if THAT is X, then it only means one thing...
Kamui won!!
Chances are, it's just a world LIKE X, but very likely for Kamui to make his appearance...

That is clamp alright. Give you small little hints. Get your hopes up high, then you fall down with nothing but "maybe"! OMG, I was waiting for a ruin beat up place. Remember what the witch said. Some places will be friendly, and some will not. When you have a chance to sleep take it. And then the mini comic #5 when they were sleeping [that was cute]. I bet we will not find any thing new until near when they go into the next world. Like aways
