*nods* Beautiful fate, beautiful TRC, and beautiful S+S :love4:
That's really similar to way I discovered it :D Surprisingly enough, when my best friend told me about CCS for the first time I never paid attention to her, thinking that CCS was some lame manga. (Oh, how I want to kick myself for thinking that now :angry:) Even when I saw some pics of CCS in a magazine (kinda the way I saw TRC :)), I refused to like it. (Talk about dumbly stubborn!) Then finally my best friend lent me some CCS manga and forced me to read it. I ended up reading the whole series and eventually falling in love with it :inlove:
I guess so... and oh, I forgot to mention exactly how I knew about TRC. I just read it somewhere...it's either in a blog or in an anime news site. I'm an internet addict so I get news fast. :D
I discovered TRC while walking into the manga section at a bookstore XD I was already a big fan of CCS, so I wanted to read some of it and found this instead. Glad I did :D
:okay: It's a good thing that you did indeed!
BTW, I love your avatar, Fai! *Kero-chan is sooo kawaii!*
i was walking in this mini mall/shopping center (i dunno what to call it...) and i was looking for cardcaptor sakura stuff...then i ended up walking inside this manga store and i was just looking through the shelves...i saw naruto and stuff like that...then i spotted the deleuxe version of TRC manga with sakura on it (thats how i discover the whole TRC thing cuz i thought it would be CCS since sakura's face was on it...and i didnt know about TRC before...) and i fell in love with it!~That was similar to how I got to know TRC too! I was in a comic store looking for CCS comics when I saw the second volume of TRC. At first, I did not recognise Syaoran but I was shocked to see Syaoran's name written in the blurb and decided to buy it and try reading it.
i hope you understand what i just said!
gomen ne if you dont...
Haven't been able to buy more than four volumes though. :inlove:
i was walking around in kinokuniya ard the comics section when ppl say tis comic is continuation of CCS. and so i bought in one shot book 1 to 4... thought it not continuation of CCS but i haf already fallen in love wif the story...Yup, me too. ^^
believe it or not my school teacher is a manga fanatic. he used school fnds to buy graphic novels( or manga) and guess wat he bought tsubasas. Awesome series, no?
LMAO, yes they can, I had a teacher who was really into anime, he started an anime club in or school as well, and he is a fan of CCS as well ^^
Nice person to rant with as well :lol:
Everyone knew of my manga and anime stuff because I always always always had a manga with me. Sometimes it was three and people would look at me weird. I've met a few people who like anime, but a majority of the people at the school don't even know what anime is. o.O and automaticcally think it's Pokemon. -.-That happens to me too. Some of my classmates would always come up to me and say "What manga did you bring today?". Most people would just go "why do you always read books backwards?"
I discovered TRC through news and whatnot....I was very excited to see that Syaoran and Sakura were coming back in a new series since I liked CCS so much. Then I later disocvered Fai and well, I'll end it there XDYeah me too, this new was the most important to me about Clamp =)
It was a little strange :tongue3: I saw CCS and I knew about Syaoran but I dunno why suddenly forgot that :XD: and when I was searching images I found a cute pic of him that reminds me my boyfriend so I decided to search more of him and found the same Syaoran with another cloths... I researched about that then I discovered TRC :heh: hee hee.
ohh.....mine would be a long story....and a bit funny.... ^__^
story begin....
i really like this magazine....it is called "GEMPAK".it has many information of anime,games,comics,movies & all about media!!one day,i saw the magazine.i decided to buy it.and then i realised that are a pic of Sakura & Syaoran.i thought they're older in CCS.
my older sis read it!!grr....!!and then she told me the creator is CLAMP.i said "who is CLAMP???" and then she said "the creator of Cardcaptor Sakura!!"
"ooohhh" i said...
after she finished read it,my turn.i read it.it is a new anime made by CLAMP "Tsubasa RESERVOiR CHRoNiCLE".
another day,my sis download the anime.she asked me to watch it with her.i went watched it with her."not bad......" we said.after a year,she didn't watched it...she said it is booring.......
i not think it is booring......so,now,i am TRC biggest fan!!
after a long time,i've seeing this thread.....
thats why i post late.....
It's all because of this (points to the thumbnail below).
...Actually, I ripped this picture off from my brother's files (who, in turn, got it from my cousin). When I posted it in one of the forums I'm in, a member suddenly asked if that's from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle. I was, of course, surprised, since Sakura and Syaoran only appears in CCS. I was thinking, "What is that, something about them becoming grown-ups already?" Well, I decided to just do a bit of research, found several manga scans over the net, and, well, the rest is history.
Since I mentioned something about this pic, can somebody here tell me where could this come from? I'm not sure if this is fanart, but I don't think it's not CLAMP's.

The way I discovered it is actually kind of funny;
It was about a year ago and I had never read a manga in my life, I didn't even know that it existed (I live in the far corner of the praries) and I was sitting in my classroom and we had a free period, so everyone was goofing off and somone had the second TRC book and THREW it at my head;
I picked it up and was going to throw it back but then I noticed it was backwards and I was like "what the hell?" so I opened it up and read the 'Honorifics' page and then read the first couple of pages (with great difficulty) and thought "this is cool" I asked around for anyone who had it but no one claimed it, they all said that it was backwards and looked wierd, so I kept it and read it and liked it so much that I went and bought the first one so I would understand it better, and by then I was totally hooked!! :sweatdrop:
