Seriously though... I want to see what Square-Enix is going to say about this fan-subbed situation... I mean, it would mean even if there were a US release date, would people still want to buy it? Even if that was a yes, it's a downfall in profit for it. Lolthat makes no sense. People will download the FFVII movie because they are fans. And as Fans they will buy teh DVDs, if ANYTHING it will be a huge rise in DVD profits because FFVII has such a huge fanbase. Its like saying you can download FFVII the actual game, You've been able to for ages now, but thier profits are still increasing because some people are still buying them.
But nonetheless, I won't deny the fact I would want to see it anyway. BUt I prefer the DVD Box :keke:
VexNet: My bad, it was rather late and the that was the first thing that came to mind. US DVD Box might not include the same features as the Japanese get though, as noted from quite a nuimber of fansites... but the company didn't confirm anything yet.
Show contentDon't you mean how Cloud survived a headshot in the end? lol
I didn't really get the wolf thing... lol. Probably since I never played FF7 (yes, flame me if you must. lol)
Show contentend? but nah, ya know when yazoo jumped right over him on the bike and *LITERALLY* Shot him at very close range right in the head, you know he hits cos his glasses fly off and all is left is a LITTLE blood, o.O
ah good nostalgia that was!!Show contentYeah, I thought that was odd that they hardly showed ANY blood. Toward the end, too, when someone (think it was Sephiroth, don't remember) stabbed Cloud straight through the shoulder, and there was no blood at all. o_O I guess Cloud is just indestructible. :lol:The wolf confused me too.
And I loved that guy's cell phone ringtone.

Oh THAT.... lol. Yeah, I was kinda wondering about that too.Show contentThat's why those sunglasses are cool. xD
Who was Zack? The only partner I remember from when Cloud was a Soldier is SephirothCloud was never in SOLDIER, (remmember in the movie they called him a "Would-Be" Ex-SOLDIER)
what had happened to Jenova (I couldn't even remember what Sephiroth had to do with her, just that he was some sort of experiment).
I'm guessing that thing he does in the end against Sephiroth (the part when his sword breaks apart into several others) was some sort of Omni-Slash, can't say for sure though, since I never saw it in the game :sweatdrop:It was Cloud's Limit Break specifically for the Movie
I have a feeling that that wolf in Final Fantasy VII : Advent Children is actually Fenrir's Spirit, Because If you have tried searching Fenrir on Google you get images of the same wolf in Final Fantasy XI so it could be a homage or something similiar, What are your thoughts?A friend of mine told me that the wolf was meant to symbolize Zax watching over him. o_O
A friend of mine told me that the wolf was meant to symbolize Zax watching over him. o_O1- who the hell is Zax? I think you mean Zack.
Anyone seen Last Order yet? The anime piece that shows a bit of Cloud and Zax's background. That's really nice as well!
1. [edit] Hmm... okay, I swear I saw it as "Zax" somewhere. It sounded like the Japanese actors pronounce it "Zakusu". Maybe I'm wrong... I swear that's what it said on his personnel file in LO, but the credits are different. *shrugs* *is now confused* And I liked it as Zax......... :sweatdrop: :sweatdrop:ah, well I'm going by Final Fantasy Seven the Playstation Game and the Final Fantasy Advent Children Movie.
"You know, I think Square Enix is over doing it a bit? I mean... I think FF7 has been overrated. Look at this... it's the original first which a lot of people loved... several years later, it's Advent Children, Dirge of Cerberus, Before Crisis, Crisis Core.... I mean honestly, I think they're overdoing it a bit. But don't get me wrong, I love FF7. It's just a personal opinion."
also i find it odd how a non-final fantasy fan can be so into something they know no history about...Hey, now I never said I wasn't a Final Fantasy fan! My problem is I'm not so much of a gamer. I love the plots and characters of the FF games.... its only that I'll get two-thirds through a game and get frustrated with the battles and technical aspects of it and end up never finishing. I did watch my sister finish FFVII, its just been a very long time. So you see, Final Fantasy as an anime is just what I've always been waiting for. (Also explains why I bought FFX as a VCD with all the dialogue scenes instead of the actual game) :sweatdrop:
urgh... don't talk about the Final Fantasy Anime... or the Spirits within movie...Eheh... no I was talking about Advent Children, of course. Anime/animated/whatever. No, I hated The Spirits Within too. o_O;;;
*BURNS THEM ALL*
Eheh... no I was talking about Advent Children, of course. Anime/animated/whatever. No, I hated The Spirits Within too. o_O;;;the Anime was pretty darn AWFUL too >.<

if you want to download Advent Children you can always download the free version of the downloadprogram bearshare at http://www.bearshare.com/ .thats REALLY poor statistics. don't waste our time.
there are different files to download and some don't have subtitles or are in fact different movies (only happened once in 200 movie downloads) but the downlload only takes 5 hours
thats REALLY poor statistics. don't waste our time.that was kinda harsh VexNet....anywayz it works for me so i'm not complaining
any idea if there will be a OST for it?
torrentspy.com has a music soundtrack download i believe
Marlene is the adopted daughter for Barrett. He decided to look after the child when he felt responsible for Dyne's death. (Dyne is Marlene's real father) during the North Coral Fire (the same fire that destroyed Barratt's hometown and killed his wife Myrna). Barrett in FF7 actually found out Dyne didn't die but he did have to have a Gun arm (Dyne's Gunarm was on teh opposite arm that Barratt's was) and at thier last encounter Barratt blames Dyne for ruining the town because he never returned, he just abandoned them. Barrett felt betrayed so Barrett Killed Dyne.Actually, Barret didn't kill Dyne. They fought, yeah, but Dyne said something about how even if he were to go back to Marlene, she wouldn't even recognize him, so he commited suicide by jumping off the cliff...
Actually, Barret didn't kill Dyne. They fought, yeah, but Dyne said something about how even if he were to go back to Marlene, she wouldn't even recognize him, so he commited suicide by jumping off the cliff...lol, yeah but that was after he lost to barrett, so in a way it was barratts fault too XD
....or something like that. >_<
Has anyone seen the parody subtitles that are out for this?
Comedy gold. Especially the introduction and the confrontation between Rufus and Cloud. xD
I asked a friend to download and burn it for me. Wow, it's so great. Spirits Within is nothing compared to this piece of art.Zeldi Agrees! I love this Movie! The fight between Cloud and Shepie ( XD) was just a master piece! :3
I've just watched the movie and the fighting scenes are great, specially the final confrontation. I've noticed that Keith Sith doesn't have that white mokona like thing in the movie, you just see him clinging on Red.Cait Sith? He was a puppet that was used by Shinra. I'm pretty sure they destroyed him since he was only a doll.
Cait Sith? He was a puppet that was used by Shinra. I'm pretty sure they destroyed him since he was only a doll.I guess he was . Though they left out the cat part of Cait Sith, not like he can fight since he's just a small cat now  but I guess he can still throw those little dice of doom .
