Uh... school starts tomorrow for me... and I'M EXTREMELY ANGRY! I'm not ready to go back! I still need to make my summer memorable! I feel like I've wasted my summer (but joining capturedwings and loving TRC and CCS was NOT a waste). :hmp: I hate school. :cry: -_-

I work in the library at school.. so the librarians let me use the computer room for ahatever I want. lol. They're pretty nice. ^_^ but I won't be able to post as much either.... T-T"

yeah, in the past.. i hate to go school (especially during exam season, so stressed!) too.. but on the other hand, i love it because i can meet my friends and chill out after class..

Well, I don't really mind goignt back too much. But I will miss my vacation. I like school becuase I get to see all my friends but I also hate it because of the work! -_-

I don't got to school no more because I finish, but the most stressing thing is that I start university in about 3/4weeks time and I am definitely not going to like it ><"
Actually there are good and bad points about school because I can't imagine how my life will be without school in the past. I mean if I never went to school I would not have any friends or will have the knowlegde of the internet etc..., though i do agree with what you lot said about boring homework because I really hated it in the past.

I know it says to complain here, but I don't have anything to complain about. Granted my classes are demanding at times, and the homework is hard, but I love going to college. Also, Strawberry-chan, you might be surprised when you go to university. It's not as hard as people anticipate it to be. There's more freedom, and you're treated with more respect that at high school. Don't judge it, and give it a chance. You might actually like it! I hated college when I started my first year, but I'm in my 4th year and I love it!

School started on aug 23rd for me It ends around my B~day though! It's been alright except for doing school work i've been on here! that isn't very good so i end up doing work in the 10 minutes between classes or enlisting my friends for help

I can't believe this! Our electronics teacher had us solder any 3d object, so I chose I swing. Then when it was time to inspect it, he looked at it for a few minutes, then, I dunno, he kinda doubted if I made the thing or I asked my dad to, he suddenly smashed it against the table! 3 times. O course, no swing would survive after that. And it was fully functional too....it even moves....*sniff*

We've only had one day off the entire time we've been in school.
So our vacations are non existant.

Everytime I go to school "Wake Me Up When September Ends" is always playing in my head when I'm walking through the halls... I feel like crying for some odd reason. School isn't too bad so far... I don't have so much homework, and my teachers are not bad. Except my locker is where all of the grade eights are *sigh*. I wrote a story for CCS for my English class. My teacher loved it and read it to the class. Some of the girls were squealing and saying, "Oh my god that is so romantic" (which made me laugh.). Some of the guys looked interested when Syaoran was fighting all these guys to protect Sakura (that was funny, too). I did pretty well on that paper :D Eh I just hope next week isn't so bad... bleh. I still dislike school though.

I converted an English project into a CCS Fanfiction once! I only had half a mark taken off because my spell-checker hates me. Highest mark in the class! Go me!

Hahahaha I hope I can write a fanfiction for an English paper. That'd be the easiet grade I'll ever get. I dont expect a high grade but a decent one would do ~_~ It'd be hilarious [to me]
so far school is okay. I just hate math. not that the teacher is mean or anything. i just plain hate it by nature. :sweatdrop: All my teachers are actually pretty nice but I prefer to have the ones I had last semester over again. its just teh familiarity thats the problem but I have classes with most of the people I know! hooray!

5 hours of biology homework!!??? i do like, probaly 1 hour of biology homework, a day before a test or doing a bilogy assignment, other than that i dont even touch my biology text book besides from school.
manz and i always leave things to the last min.. so annoying, i also tell myself not to be lazy and finish work early, but i haven't seem to live that dream yet :D

I try and get most of my work done early so I don't have to worry about it later. But there are some cases when I just can't do anything and I stare at the work for 5/10 minutes... :sweatdrop:

I hate school.
Geez, I hate in my class who hate me or think I'm weird just because I am obsessed with anime. They think I'm some kind of freak and nerd. My old friends don't think this at all. They think I'm brilliantly funny (in a good way).
What's worse, someone stepped on my binder, the side with Syaoran on it. They didn't say sorry. People in my school can be so dang rude.
Ugh, what's even worse, is that we had to be timed on how many push-ups we could do in a minute. Wow, that was a struggle.
There was no happy moment in my school day. Other than going home at the end of the day. (Is that even part of the school day?)

You ask me to write a fanfic with Sakura & Syaoran in it, preferably CCS, I will excel with flying colors! Ask me to write a paper on Amendment 2, and I'm horrible! I should really be typing it, but I'd rather complain right now. I am a hopeless procrastinator. Some elementary teacher I'm gonna be.

Bleh school makes me bored... I'm always fantasizing about being at home with my anime, on the computer, or just in a field of cherry blossoms (weird, huh?). Today I got hit on the head by two basketballs and when I was walking home with my friend, (it was raining hard) i dropped my sweater into a puddle. What great luck.
I dislike it when teachers try to make work interesting or fun. They just make it even more complicated or really confusing. Most of the time I prefer straight-to-the-point work, with the exception of art and English (love those two subjects.)

What's really bad for me is that I always used to be called Kim (Kimberly is my full name > I kinda feel awkward when people call me that), but there's another Kim in my class now. So all my teachers (except for my homeroom teacher, who calls me Kim A.) keep calling me Kimberly and it's getting me annoyed. Whenever I try to tell them to call me Kim, they always say, "But there's already a Kim." And when I tell them to put the last name initial for me, they always say, "That's too much of a hassle." Geesh. I thought teachers were supposed to make their students have a comfortable learning enviornment >_<

They aren't my friends, and they aren't my parents so I don't believe they have the right to be calling my by that name.
Heck, I didn't even like it when my friends and family called me by that name!

Yeah, we all do sometimes get too much homework and that happens especially at university and it kills me too. Teachers don't care too much about how many homeworks you get as long as you get their own subjects done.

I remember last year during the first day of Home Ec, and my teacher, Dockerill, was perfectly nice to me. And then near the end of class she came up to me and asked me, "So, how's your brother, Jeffery, doing?" Jeff is my goodie-two-shoes cousin (honour roll, Student Council President, etc.etc. who graduated the year before.)
So I corrected her and said that he was my cousin, and that my brothers were Mark and Andrew. Now, they weren't exactly perfect students.
And at the mention of Mark's name, she turned up her nose at me, and from that day forward she treated me like dirt.
I wasn't suprised, though. I've had countless teacher's do that to me, but it didn't make any less insaulting, or didn't make any less furious.
Oh, and my English teacher still won't stop calling me Allision. Sheesh, I should start wearing a name tag.

I know exactly how you feel Endoh-chan! Since my brothers and sisters were all mentally disabled, they though I, being the youngest, would also have a disability and tried to put me in special needs classrooms! It's unbelievable. I really s**ks being the youngest, doesn't it?!

Then they realize I'm not like my sisters at all. I'm not enthusiastic, always partcipating, joining the school teams, getting into "the school spirit". Then they just give up hope and kinda act disappointed towards me, because I'm not as great as they think. Nope. I'm just a shy (not around my friends), awkward, quiet, keep-to-myself, pessimistic (sometimes), anti-social (sometimes) girl. Oh well. They should just respect and like me for who I am, not who my sisters are.

And one of the Teaching assistants starts looking over my shoulder and she's like, "Oh! Pokemon!"
I looked up at her, shivered, and said, "Dear GOD NO!" and she just shrugs and she's like, "Oh, well, all that japanese animation looks like Pokemon."
.....I was hoping I would never have to hear that ever again, and she went and ruined it. People annoy me greatly :tongue3:

hyyuuu I can't draw manga for beans. It always looks dumb or silly or just plain ugly XD. School makes me feel uneasy. I feel like I'm forgetting something, or that I didn't finish my homework, or other school worries.

Errr....I thought not.
On Wednesday, in English (with the teacher who can't remember my name, sheesh.), my teacher made me read out a question on a worksheet and answer it. Well, it was in the morning, so I wasn't exactly paying attention to the lesson, so I got the answer wrong and she flips out at me.
Well, I've obviously been yelled at before, but for some reason, I just started crying right then and there (which got really embarassing since I was trying not to show it and then I started hiccuping and blah....it wasn't pleasant). And to make it worse, while I'm sitting there crying, she keeps coming up to me about every five minutes pointing out every little thing I've done wrong on the sheet. I always feel tears coming to my eyes and try to look away. And I hate it because it makes me feel like the stupidest person in the world when my classmates are giving exasperated, annoyed, smirky looks. Teachers can be so harsh. And my music teacher has got a reputation for being mean, so I wasn't surprised. Actually, she even admitted herself that she was selfish. Blah. Damn music class.

Trust me when I say this. You do not want to be homeschooled! I was homeschooled from the 9th grade up until I graduated. And here's the great part. My mother still thinks that she's my teacher.
As for my complaint, I do not hate school, but it is starting to stress me out. Midterms are coming, and my homework load just doubled. Also, I now have a 2nd job so I will be so busy I might not see any of you until Thanksgiving break. :cry: Wish me luck minna-san.

And she calls me and the other people in my sewing class BUNNIES!! And she thinks she's making everything easy for us, but she really talks to us like we're goddang kindergarteners! And you know what the stupidest thing of all??? She actually gives us the answers for tests (English tests, I have the lady for English too -_-)!! I can't stand teachers like that. Guess part of it is because I'm going to be a teacher. A teachers job is to help his/her students to learn, grow, and become strong independent thinkers. Unfortunately, some teachers think that if they make it easier you'll like them, and that will make it easier for them. I actually find that worse than the teachers who yell at you all the time. At least those teachers give you difficult homework that if you're dilligent enough, can eventually overcome. Believe it or not, some of my professors did that with me. They tried to make the assignments easy, and it only hindered me.
Going in a different direction, I feel like such a brat right now. I'm trying to post on here while typing my English paper. :sweatdrop:

I've said it before and I'll say it again.
I HATE my English Teacher.
Yesterday, I was in class and since I wasn't there the day before, I was talking to the girl behind me asking what I was supposed to be doing for the assignment they started and my English teacher starts freaking out at me saying I'm "disrupting the class" (oh yeah, and your screaming isn't? Please.) and she tells me to move to the front of the room.
Okay, usually, I wouldn't have a problem with that but I've been in crutches because of my knee and I'm supposed to keep it completely imobilized. And she's making me limp all the way up to the front of the room? (god, I sound so lazy, ahah!). SO I just kinda laugh and joke, "You're making the Cripple move?" And she starts freaking out at me again....and gives me FREAKING DETENTION!
So, I start limping my way up to the front of the room, and my friend Taylor brings my chair up with me and that witch of a teacher starts freaking out at Taylor for being up out of her seat!
...the hell?
So, I spent the rest of the block drawing an interesting picture of me stabbing her in the back instead of doing my work out of spite.
And I didn't even bother going to my detention. Screw that.

There are only 2 times when I truly hate school. The first week, and the last week. I have no idea what to expect the first week of school, and it doesn't help that I slack off during my winter and summer vacations so I often sleep in :sweatdrop: which I hate! Same here! Now that I'm going into the second week, I'll be more at ease, and be more relaxed! I truly love school, and for those that think I need my head examined, I can tell you right now, college, for those who don't attend, is far different than high school. For one thing, there's total freedom! I am treated like an adult, and that doesn't happen to me much because of how young I look, and I'm actually working for something. I have a goal, and that keeps me going. College, for me, is truly wonderful!

In English I have about 6 missing assignments, In Math I'm missing two whole chapters and 2 unit tests, and In Socials I'm missing god knows what, but I know I'm failing. I'll probably have to retake that course during the summer. Joy.
And I have until Friday to finish all my English and my Math tests, Wednesday to finish the rest of my math, and I have a huge Socials project due on Monday.

I'm so dissorganized, I don't know where everything is and how or when I'm going to get it done. It woudn't be so bad if I hadn't been away all of last week because of the flu (which I still feel like crap, by the way, ahha).
This is what happens when you have three core subjects stuffed into one semester and you lack the motivation or mental capacity to do them.
At least next semester I only have one: Science. That'll be easy. The rest are PE (which I get to coast through easily since I have so many injuries, haha.), Japanese (and that I'm actually motivated to work on. Plus the teacher gives pretty much everyone A's.) and Planning 10. Sinch.

My friends are strangers now, i have so many projects due, and because of those, I can't meet with my EMCWC (emotionally creative writing club). Blah. Plus, we have this stupid read a thon thing so we have to keep track of what books we read and earn money. Plus, it's part of our mark (the reading books part). Damn, I could just kill someone right now. Oh yeah, my Band teacher has promoted me to one of the Top Five Clarinets. Arggghhh... that means more work... and to top it all off, I still can't forget that someone reviewed my fic and ripped it apart, disguising their flame as so-called "constructive criticism". A group presentation isn't so bad since you don't have to talk for so long and your group mates are there to support you, however I seriously hate individual presentations because when I'm at it alone I get all nervous then everything goes totally wrong ><"

So, we had our Socials marks upgraded the other day, and it said I was fine. I had a C+, which is fine with me. I went up to my socials teacher and asked him if I was missing anything, and he said anything that wasn't on the mark sheet was done. So I was only missing a couple maps and a set of questions. No biggie.
So I'm working on those, and then today, the last day of classes, he upgrades our marks again. I look again, and it says I'm only at 51%!! Apparently, during the week I was away, there was a huge essay out of 95 that I didn't do and it dropped my mark 10%! So I'm thinking, "Why the hell didn't he tell me this!?" so I asked him, and he completely deflected the question, so I never got a real answer. SO I ask him to make some sort of compromise, since I don't have alot of time for any of this and he just sort of laughs at me and says, "Well, you've got the weekend."
Pssh, I HAVE PROVINCIALS TO STUDY FOR! Two provincials(Math and English), my Socials Exam, and Three Math Chapter tests that I wasn't at class for. Plus the Socials maps and questions I never had time to do, and now I have to do a whole freaking essay!? So I sorta had a little freak-out at the front of the room, swore at him, and stormed out of the classroom.
So yeah, I'm a tad stressed right now. And I want to rip off my Socials teachers mullet. Yes, he has a mullet [gag].
What pisses me off more is that he did the exact same thing with my brother, Mark, when he taught him. Mark had been failing and my mom came in and asked what he'd need to do to pass and Sutton (my socials teacher) gave my mom a long list of things Mark was missing. She managed to make Mark finish it all and hand it in.
He still failed.
So my mom went in to ask what the hell happened and he's like, "Oh. Those were all the assignments from the 2nd Term. He's still missing way too much from the 1st Term to pass."
Umm . . . why not give the ENTIRE list of assignments missing!?
This is why I hate teachers. Most, anyways.

Well I really haven't been that busy. Except from where I missed 4 days. (um.. yeah) Well anyways I had to turn a lot of makeup work in. It was really frustrating today trying to figure out what I had missed and what I needed to turn in and stuff. I had a few zeros on my mid-term reports because I hadn't turned in a few things. Other than that, this weekend I'm pretty much free and have a little geometry homework and that's about it.

Kyah. I have a bad feeling I'm going to fail a bunch of projects that are due this month and are an important part of my grade. I also think I'm failing English! That's unbelieveable since I love writing and reading so much. It's just that the teacher's assignments are so pointless! She tries to make it fun, but it just gets really boring and repetitive. I hate being stuck in an educational system that requires so many fluffy filler classes. It takes soo much will power for me to make myself go to Health. That class is so pathetic. -.-
On a different note, I'm taking Lord of the Rings Lit, and I'm actually really enjoying it. It's a very informative and thought provoking class. BUT, to finish the books in time we have to read about 100 pages a week, and we get long tests and essays. Well I got really behind, because every time I would try do the work, I would fall asleep. No matter what I tried I kept falling asleep and I couldn't get myself motivated.
Turns out I'm hypoglycemic, and I've been suffering from low blood sugar. I'm all caught up on the reading, but we had an essay due today and I did not get it finished, and I don't know if I can finish it tonight, and so I'm going to get marked down a lot for being late...and that sucks. I was hoping to try and improve my GPA this quarter.
And in order to make time for my required classes' workload, I had to audit Japanese, and that was one of my favourite classes ever! I think I'll take it again next year for credit, when I'll have more freedom over what classes I get to take. :(

Anyone got a cure for procrastination? Anyone? Well as soon as someone invents it, I'm stocking up! I have a test tomorrow, and I have a couple of weird English questions to do... however, I have no idea what the answers to the English questions are! It's on a book we had to read (my English teacher's brother-in-law wrote it, so it's not officially published yet)! Well not exactly read because everyone was assigned parts, and we had to read it outloud in class, so I wasn't exactly listening.... you know me, I'm always off daydreaming or fiddling with one thing or another. But I can't help it! Some people's voices aren't exactly the most interesting things, ya know? And you can't help but fall asleep...
eh, I'll find a way out one way or another. Plus, i'm going crazy because I have a CONCERT ON WEDNESDAY!!!! I'm so scared, my family's going to be there, and they're quite embarassing enough, so that just adds to the nerve-wracking-ness. I'm scared... Anyone else sufer from hayfever? Anyone like to share my pain? I know there are tablets for hayfever but they do nothing, especially when your school is in the middle or a giant park! Those white fluffy things floating around are pretty and all but you can't really admire them whilst trying to claw out your eyes.
Uniform is a bugger too. No one wants to be wearing a big black blazer in a heat wave, it makes people go crazy. It seems, nowadays, my school can't go one day without a riot. Pfft, kids.
Air con would be nice if the damn school wasn't being knocked down in two years time. And someone stole our maths projector, pulled it right out of the ceiling. Now I'm failing maths and there's a huge hole in the ceiling, what's up with that?!

We told the principle that if can get a air con and conntect with the heater pipes (don't know what its called), the whole school can cool down. But the principal no and told us to suc* it up. And he doesn't have to becasue he has air con. Well, so now, people get in trouble in school on purpose just to get sent to the office. -_-

Hey, that's not a bad idea. If our principal had air con, I'd consider doing that too but the woman in charge of our school took the medical wing and turned it into her office (and it still doesn't have air con -_- .) Our medical wing is now a bench by the toilets. (seriously)

The thing is, you should enjoy school while it lasts, because once you graduate you'll be WISHING everyday that you where still in school. Trust me: I still do, and I regret everyday that I didn't spend more time studying and paying attention, than just laxing and not paying attention (still passed with A's and B's but thats besides the point)

I hate writing papers about topics that are incredibly uninteresting to me. I have been trying to write this paper for the last 10 hours but have only gotten three pages in (it has to be 8 for tomorrow). It is 3 am and I am in such a rut that I am just looking around the boards for anything to keep me interested until I can think of something that won't sound completely horrible and cause me to fail even more.
Due dates are the worst thing ever. I am set to graduate high school by the end of June, but if I don't pass my math class I'll be held back. All over one math class that I am having so much trouble in despite how hard I tried. It makes me really sad that I've tried so hard and have done so bad and that just one teacher can keep me from going to college for an entire semester.

I must say, my percentage varies. Sometimes it's 99%, sometimes it's about...30%. And yeah, I have many people in my YM list, but only a few are really my friends...sometimes you just gotta be social...but I have a hard time doing so... And teachers? *sighs* you never know what they're thinking O_O

Oy, I was taking a summer class (Astronomy) while I waited for my financial aid to come back for school (I'm in a local community college) and well...math isn't my strong suit and it's definitely a subject I know I have to take my time in.  :dodge:
This being a summer class it moves like THREE TIMES faster then any class in an ordinary semester. There was one girl whom WOULDN'T SHUT UP during class, she kept making "clever" little comments that I'm sure she thought was quite funny but it was mostly distracting and annoying rather then clever. Usually I like school, I enjoy class, my classmates for the most part aren't all that horrible and I enjoy doing homework and work in general. However every so often you run acr oss someone who just makes your brain SHUT. DOWN. during class. This girl happened to be one of them.
It doesn't help my MOM took this class with me, and while I love my Mother and I had no problems with her in class, she was more then willing to help me pull through a subject that was rather difficult for me I just...I thought I'd like to pass the class on my own, rather then ride her coat tails. She thankfully understood perfectly and let me drop the class to take a history class during the second half the summer. I have FAR more hope for this class, :heh:

Half the girls in my class were crying because school was out. Partly because I guess that some of the them were moving and didn't tell them until the end of the school year. Hmph...I miss school already. Half the time, you're at school, and now that's it's summer, you're stuck at home abosolutly bored!

I agree. My friend move away, a couple of days ago, and I already miss her. We been friends since grade 3 (I"m in grade 12 now). So, I was sad for school being over :(
But still, next year, by school year is going to be crazy. Its my last year in High School, so I have to work my butt off to get good marks. I'm trying to get into University, but I'm at a collede level. My teacher told me, that I can go to university but I have to work harder then I am right now, and right now, I'm working hard. So, now, my homework is going to be piled up >.<

this isn't school in itself that we don't like,because it is really something wonderful that built ALL OUR CHILDHOOD,but this is some nasty people we met there who spoil the enjoyment of learning :okay:

There are some really uncool teachers in my school, and I just hate having to meet them everyday...
None of them seems to make you want to learn at all. Art used to be my favourite subject, but the teacher is just an annoying, dull person that doesn't seem to care about anything good that's been done by a student.

I just started school again today, and I can honestly say that only 3 classes don't scare the crap out of me.
2nd- Argh I'm one of two girls surrounded by guys who don't care about anything.
3rd- French is okay.
4th- English is okay (but I think my teacher is on crack, she's so weird)
5th- Chemistry is okay, but he's monotonous
6th- Algebra II omfg she has such a bad accent I think I will fail one of those 3 tests a six weeks or quiz a week.
7th- FACS...don't get me started.
And my homeroom teacher is an absolute witch so I won't rant about her now. ><

Things i hate most about school (i'm portuguese so its a bit different):
1- i spent the whole year next to a guy that when he swallows sounds like a loud toilet filling up, that does nothin in class doesnt let others listen and talks loudly and too much and is a jerk;
2- in total i have bout 3 classes a day the least or more the maximum is 5 with a duration of 1h30m each class (yeah i pratically fall asleep in some)
3- i don't really like my class in general (we have always the same people in it)
4- im at an age guys are still dorks
5- we have to do tests each period 2 of each subject and last year we had 7 subjects´along with projects and at the end of the year we had to do exams that involved 2 subjects and for each we needed to study 2 years of stuff
6- our school is falling apart
7- boys/girls can enter the locker rooms cuz they have no security
8- teatchers don't care, students soon stop caring and the education system just throws stuff at us that makes no sense= low grades (i have nothin to complain but they could be better)
9- people in charge are idiots
10- having an education is really expensive especially when we had 13 subjects...
11-they're all idiots...
can't think of more but i think that sums it up... school s**ks(no bad words ^.~)

i think that the more we have to learn the more we forget,it's certainly due to the fact that we force ourselves too much to remenber,so even if we are able to put something in our mind for the day of test,we forget everything as soon as the stress disappears,so in some way it is useless :sweatdrop:

we work monday,tuesday,wednesday morning,thursday,friday,and saturday evening,so five days per week :dodge:.
the schedules of elementary school are 8h30/11h30 in morning,and next 13h30/16h30 in afternoon,so we work all the day,while in others countries children only study the morning,and are free all the afternoon so as to do some interesting activities,and be more rested :okay:!
our system is too intricate :sweatdrop:

I go to my main school from 6.30 a.m to 11.5.a.m Then 1.5 to 4.5 for Advanced comp and P.E. 5.50 p.m to 9.00 p.m, I go to Advanced English, Liturature and Math. I study from Mon to Sat. DAMNED SCHEDULE! :cry:

yeah,i started seriously to play video games when i was 9 years old,and my first rpg game was Chrono Trigger,which was entirely in english,so i get used to consult a english/french dictionnary every time i didn't understand :keke:!
it was an excellent training to learn vocabulary,even if i didn't realize the benefit of my actions when i was little :rotfl:!
i kept doing english rpg games by habit,and so thanks to them i was always one of the best pupils in english class,and for my bachelor's degree i ended up second of all my lycée :wink:
