Why does everyone in CCS think Sakura looks more like her mother? The only similarites I can see between their appearances is that Sakura has the same eye color as her mother, but I always thought she looked more like Fujitaka and Touya looked more like Nadeshiko to me. Even Tomoyo looks more like Nadeshiko than Sakura yet all the other characters seem to think otherwise.

they do have kinda similair personalities but for the rest i don't really see any other similairities

Facial structure? XD It might not be her hair the way it looks right now, but it seems like if she tried growing it out, she'd probably get the same wavy effect.
She's also got that warm glow in her face when she smiles. ^^

i see what u mean... maybe it's just sakura's hairstyle that makes her look different to her mother??? or maybe it's coz sakura's still a kid???

when i look at Sakura's mother hair i will say that she resembles much more to Yukito :keke:
that's why Sakura and Yukito couldn't be lovers in CCS...they were half brother and half sister :haha: !!!...
(hyu,sorry,but i think i'm a little bit too tired because of my last tremendous mission as a "Mokona's kidnappers" member :sweatdrop:)

Well Tomoyo IS Sakura's cousin. They probably made Tomoyo look more like Nadeshiko so that her mom (aka Nadeshiko's sister) would have like a child that was like her beloved sister. Kind of a reminder that she's always there. Anyways if anything Sakura looks more like Fujitaka but has the eyes of Nadeshiko. Isn't that enough? Not all people look like their parents or carry most of their traits.

you are right,but Tomoyo seems much more japanese than Sakura's mother,since Nadeshiko has got light skin and hair,and curls locks :keke:!
when we think about it Sakura hersef is far from being a typical japanese girl according to her features,and she is nevertheless one of the most popular manga characters in japan :okay:!

We need to get a picture of Nadeshiko when she was little (in the episode where Sakura visits her great grandpa, I think, and compare it to the 10 year old Sakura).
I don't think she looks like her father. What she has from him, is his hair and color of skin, instead of her mother's fair (which is why people probably take the dad/daughter resemblance in). The rest, including the eyes and facial features, is/could be like Nadeshiko, which is why there is always the comparison between the two. It is mentioned for a reason, and if mostly everyone in the CCS world mentions it, then it must be true. Is proper for a girl to take after her late mother. Remember that they are both referred to as cute also.
As for Kobato, to make it short, she's Sakura with long hair, kind of long hair....

actually the one in the Kinomoto's family who really seems to be totally an outsider is Sakura's brother,Toya :haha:!
he doesn't look both to his father and his mother,CLAMP's logical is weird sometimes :sweatdrop:

The only part I think Sakura has form her mom is the eyes only.....and yeah, when I saw the cover of CLAMP no kiseki vol 12, I though they were syaoran and sakura, which is not. I swear Kobato does really look like Sakura (the colour and hair model, only longer though)

I think that girl was Kobato... though I agree with you, Kobato does seem to be almost like Sakura. Except Kobato's probably ten times clumsier than Sakura... and she's already clumsy enough. Lol! But I love Kobato... I wish CLAMP would finish it, but then again... they already have X, xxxHolic and Tsubasa and other hiatus work to worry about so it's ok. I could talk more about Kobato but let's leave it at that...
If I remember correctly, I thought when they showed Nadeshiko when she was young, she did look rather similar to Sakura. The face structure and the smile was a dead give away to me... especially the green eyes. Which was probably why Sonomi recognized Sakura as looking similar to Nadeshiko.

hmmx.. i can't really tell she may be the CCS sakura.. if you look carefully Syaoran's slevee has the TRC wing while Sakura's.. hmmx.. just a cheery blossom..

i don't know why but Kobato looks like a cow boy girl...her hairstyle and his way of moving makes me think about the Far west  :keke:.
