In the land of Celes, there lives a kind and fair king. The townspeople are happy to be under his rule, except for one...the King's wizard. Having wanting to take control of the town, the clever mage starts scheming..convincing that the king needs him most...casting a spell upon him. Fai will stop at nothing to gain what he wants, including removing the ones that stand in his way.
Kurogane, the king's mighty guard and ninja, starts having suspicions about the mage. Since he is unable to convince the king of the wizard's wrongdoing, he watches him closely;, waiting for the chance to take him down...

But their relationship is intercepted. Ashura has awoken; seeing how he has been betrayed by Fai, he is blinded in rage...
