Computer horror stories here, or you could just complain.
..... Like if your computer is too old and stupid to run acrobat properly so if you try to print then go to another window it freezes halfway through print set up and you have to restart or ctrl+alt+del....

My old computer crashed like 4 times. I kept losing everything cause I didn't have a cd burner.

Try using Yuuko-san's red baseball bat. XD
Mine's 4-5 years old now... (Used to be a windows 98, reformatted into a windows XP.) And it even lags when I'm trying to resize a picture on adobe... o_O I use ctrl + alt + del very often and it takes 10 mins just to get the computer ready for use from the time I switch it on. -_-

mine is 10 years old and hates my guts i tell ya, almost everything that i want to do on the pc gets blocked by system errors!!

This stupid laptop is ANCIENT, I tell you, ANCIENT! *prods laptop with foot* I can't even surf the internet now because the port is broken. Whenever I play games, it LAGS. Argh!
My PC as well. Ever since my stupid cousin installed Direct X 9 in it, I can't play games in it anymore!

The computer in my dad's office sometimes freaks me out... As in sometimes i goes from laggy to freeze then hang for a bit then bacvk to normal.... Everytime my firefox loads there as well, it crashes, i dunno why....
Good thing i bought a new pc with high grade specs, and we're gonna get dsl connection as welll.... ^_^

That might not be your computer's fault. My WMM didn't work for me at first, then I found a solution.
Anyway, compared to all of you guys' computers, my computer is perfect. The interest cuts off randomly sometimes and needs restarted, and it goes in slow-motion whenever I download something. Despite being an old computer, it's holding on pretty well. My dad's computer, on the other hand, is just plan messed up. He and my brother have re-programed, or wiped clean(my brother used a fancy word for it, but I forgot what it was), more than once. It'll suddenly freeze and you have to restart it(the sound it makes when it suddenly turns off always scares the heck out of me and I know that can't be good for it). Even after restarting it, it usually doesn't work. My dad says it's because too much stuff is downloaded on it, but I doubt it. It's a new computer, too.

wipe clean (or reformat) is good for you pc, it frees up space and starts from brand new again.

Ah! Reformated! That might've been it. Apparently the effort is useless on my dad's computer, though. That kinda proves that the downloadng isn't the problem.

My laptop can only have access to dial up internet, stupid broadband doesn't work on my laptop for some reason so I have to use my brothers computer for the net.

Mine sucks. I have High Speed on it, but my whole computer is really slow. My speackers don't work, so I can't hear music well, I have to let my brother on my computer, so they download awhole wack of cra* and some times I think this computer is going to crash
Brothers I'm not aloud on it, and its my dad old one. And its really good.
ExtraIt blew up. I mean it. Fire and everything. :lol: it was funny to watch

In my expierience, all laptops have some sort of quirk like that.
I used to have one that always thought its memory was full, when it was nearly empty and I had defraged it too!

My computer: Beautiful, lovely, new (last year), good specs, runs everything, no bugs.... because It's not connected to the internet -.-
The Computer that is connected to the internet: 6 years old, upgraded to Windows XP, RAM "issues", buggy, explorer keeps freezing, hades adobe which I nead heaps for uni.
I would put my com downstairs but I use it heaps in my room and I dont want ot lose it (ha ha), plus I like it not being buggy

My office network is really slow.... The office network uses Lotus Notes for data gathering and communication, and the program itself freezes at times. As a result, the network and programs freeze as well.

ugh! there are so many things I could complain about involving my computer XD
- Error reports are always popping up and closing what ever im doing at the time
- It's slow
- Always Freezes
- Never fully loads whatever its loading
- automatically resets itself, even though I didnt press anything
and alot more that I could blab about

My spoiled little computer:
- Likes to cause errors.
- Likes to shut down Word JUST WHEN I'VE GOTTEN INSPIRATION for a good story and am WRITING IT UP.
- Likes to freeze for a few seconds.
- Likes to not load properly on occasions, so I have shut the whole thing down and re-start it...
And I don't know if this is my computer, or my internet provider, but...
- The internet cuts out when I'm downloading or stuff. Like, trying to watch the Tsubasa movie on YouTube, it'll load half of it and then the internet will cut out. Luckily for me, the internet likes Ouran Highschool Host Club, as it's only shut down once in 10 episodes. Har har.
...Ah yes. I love my computer. ==; (Well. It's love/hate really XD)

My office computer is freezing and slowing down again. My coworkers insist that I've been uploading stuff to the computer, causing its slowdown, but it's not true. Actually, I don't even know why it slows down in the first place.

Oh I just love bashing my laptop. This thing's sole purpose is for viewing video files and as a storage system. Everything else it just fails.

My other PC is like 5 years old. I though it would survive to windows XP, but it got slower!! And it takes like 5 minutes to start to run anyprogram!! oh! and also!! it can't turn off for itself!! I have to push the button like 10 seconds!!!

Hmmm, where to begin?
It's a Windows 98. The speakers don't work, so I've no sound. Everytime I download a zipped file it tries to open it in Media Player, so I can't download anything. Dx
It takes ten minutes to turn on, and when I type in my password it goes through my last five wallpapers, then it sticks on green (my bg colour) for five minutes and THEN it starts working.
I uninstalled the Sims about ten times, but it's still there. o_O
It's really creaky and zoomy sounding.
The broadband is stooopid as it turns itself off all the time.
And that's all...for now >.>

Ehhh.... only complaint for Kamui-kun (meh compy), on the Mac side is it's serious issues finding ANY sort of software that, y'know, actually WORKS at the same pace as its windows counterpart. >>; MSN, even, for mac, has yet to be updated since version 5.1. *le sigh*
On the windows side of my hybrid? Well, that sort of crashed and burned simply from me trying to instal trillian at the same time as a codec package... :XD:

Oh, my stupid computer... My mouse double-clicks by itself, and the monitor only shows the color green. The programs are slow, and freezes up at times. The worst part is that my modem is slower than before. I want a laptop for my birthday... T_T

Warning to all, Emachines sucks big time..and also those that are connected to Emachines [dell, and..I forgot the others] ...I had Emachines as my first computer from 2003 to 2006, until I finally got an HP computer.
Emachines crashed at least 3 times a year...and I kept losing everything...thank god my Different Worlds video [made it on crappy emachines and WMM!] was saved safely on my sister's computer.

Emachines sucks. Dell is nice, but only if you buy in the Dell XPS notebooks range. These things rock. I love it.

What media player did you download? For mkv files, VCL Media Player (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/) works best.

Not really. =/ Avi and other formats play fine, but mkvs don't. You pause, it crashes. You skip ahead, it crashes. You turn on the subtitles, it crashes. You run any other program, it crashes. The Macintosh version is really not as good as I've heard the Windows version is.

I'm not sure it's that my compy "can't handle" anything. It handles most things just fine >:| It's got plenty of RAM, and it's a good machine; the program is just a lousy version.

For some reason my computer gets to a point after a couple hours where, if you try to input any keyboard commands into any program whatsoever, it'll automatically freeze that program up. Dumb.

Eh I see what you mean now, watching Tales of Symphonia the animation (mkv file). Everytime I try to skip over, it looks all pixilated until it switches to a new scene. O_o;; I wonder what's a better player than VLC...

For some reason my computer's date/time setting loves to malfunction. I don't know why, but just yesterday it was set to August, and at least once a month I'm setting the time forward or back an hour. It just hates me.. ;-;

A file folder full of random wmv files just became an exact duplicate of my Holic avi raws. D: *shakes fist*
