I've saw the ep 2. It's so cool ^^ But not it's not attractive me like ep 1 :D Maybe because it's not much S+S moments ?!? :D

WOW!!! the kudans were okay i guess... the manga shows more details into the creatures.. and i like shugo's water kudan!! ^-^ cause i like water! :D and then i can't wait to see more water kudan of kurogane's! :D
the bgm.. didnt' get me into it as much as the first did... tho i did like the songs near the ending.. cause i noticed that they did a lot of harmony... which sounded really nice! i know cause i'm in choir! :D i really wanna get that song now! ^_^

ep 2 is really cute. you get to see a flashback of when sakura and syaoran were so young. it was really adorable. i prefer the manga much more than the anime though. yuuko just didn't look right. she looked so much more defined and...just YUUKO in the manga. and in the anime. it seems not right.
the kudans were alright. but other than that it was great
now just waiting for ep 3 :D

Episode 2 was ok I guess. *What's up with Yuuko's eyes :sweatdrop:?* Everything seemed better in the manga.
Some good points tho~ the BGM was really kool at parts and I thought all the bashed up vehicles looked good :heh: The flashbooks were really cute *S+S were soooo kawaii :inlove:*
I'm looking forward to the next episode. I hope it's better than episode 2 :tongue:

Ahhh, but Yuuko IS cruel (in a very funny way)! That's one of the best things about her in xxxHolic.
I've only seen the first episode so far, but I though Yuuko didn't look like her xxxHolic/Tsubasa self. She looked stern instead of the usual dreamy/sneaky look she has on her face! But really, I'm loving the manga and the anime, I can't complain!

The anime doesn't exactly appeal to me as much as the manga does but its fine I guess. The thing that irked me to no end was Yuuko's eyes. The creators totally KILLED it! :angry: That's so not Yuuko but...I'll learn to live with it.
I like the manga Yuuko where she's sneaky and devilishly mysterious. I guess we all can't have everything. ^^; Overall, the anime is okay just that I wished they landed where Sorata and Arashi were! [misses them] <333 lol :heh:

Absolutely~!!! Yuuko is so funny in XXXholic, I love her! Sorry for spoiling it for you when you haven't even seen the 2nd ep yet! ^^;; I hope she's the good ol' Yuuko we all know and love too in the movie. ;D

i think yuuko look a li' sneaky when she poked at kurogane~ :P but i'd like to hear her say bout him gettin caught by the police & stuff, but thats not in the anime....*sad* and i'd wanna see syaoran freak out when fye sneaks on him and picks 1 of sakura's feather fr his clothes~~though the kurogane getting agitated and sounding mokona off satisfied me temporarily~

when syaoran jumped into the battle field to get sakura's feather... i was like.. NOOO!! he's going to get hurt! and then i remembered his kudan.. :D hahahahahuh...
know what i noticed? i don't think i see sorata and arashi <--if those are the names... i don't remember seeing them in the next episode preview... or i only watched it once and didn't pay much attention!! ^_^;;

The second episode was, in my opinion, not as good as the first episode. It starts off by showing a few scenes already shown in the previous episode. I think they decided to show those scenes again probably because the next scene is all talk, talk and more talk. cough.hack//SIGNcough This scene took about half of the whole episode. I’m not really complaining. I’m actually happy they did that because it’s important to the story. And I just can’t believe how Bee-Train had managed to draw Yuuko so incredibly ugly! Well, they did make some effort though when they showed her poking Kuro-poo… :XD:
Anyways…after the talk, they’re transported to another dimension… and wow! I just love so much those cool animation effects! Great job there but…
The first scene at Hanshin Republic isn’t entirely the same as the manga, if I remember correctly. :heh:
I’m still quite disturbed that Kurogane isn’t acting the same as he does in the manga. Why does he always look so angry?
I was shocked when Fai reached out inside Syaoran’s coat and then Syaoran made a funny sound. what the.. he sounded like an old man there! The dubber could have done a better job there if he just imitated Syaoran’s shocked reactions in CCS. [nods]
The next scenes were “okay”... I like that scene where Syaoran tries to catch the feather. Really cool. However, I find the Kudans of the two gangs sort of funny. They looked like thick laser beams to me. XD oh well… at least Syaoran’s Kudan is hot. XDD I just didn’t find the animation convincing though.. I expected more. The other guy’s Kudan? Nevermind. :tongue:
And I’m not finishing this post without mentioning this… there’s no Sorata and Arashi! Are they even gonna show up? I didn’t see them in the next episode preview. [sigh] Seriously, they shouldn’t have edited that one out. Their visit to Hanshin (wait, it’s spelled Hansin in the tower there! o.O) would be much more enjoying to watch with those two around. [sigh again] :sleepy5:
Anyway, still looking forward to the next episode… Kuro-pi’s Kudan will show up but no sight yet of Fai’s. Also, Sakura will get her first feather. Not that it’s really important cos she’s still not gonna wake up. She does in the second feather.. no wait, am I actually right about that? haha! I really should re-read the manga. But I’m still in chapter 50 something, oh whatever… :tongue3:

Sakura wakes up when she gets the feather after Syaoran fights Masayoshi's Kudan, after it gets really BIG!
In the book that would be the second feather.
One being the one on Syaoran
and two being the one inside Masayoshi's Kudan.
They are still in the Hanshin when she wakes up.
I sure hope they don't leave out the part where Fai fights with his Kudan!!!!!!

lol. i just rewatched ep2 with the subs. i'm still really frustrated about how they drew yuuko. i'm just like O.O? what did they do to her.
the kudans. eh. sucked. nothing compared to the manga.
and when the gangs were fighting. i was so seriously thinking laser tag

besides that, can sombody help me? Im looking for tsubasa anime chap 2. I know there are a lot of sites that has it but it needs bittorrent and.... yua can call me ignorant but I cant understand how to use it, for me it doesnt work U_U so I cant watch it. AND I WANT TO!!!!!the last time, Little Wolf , give a link on where someone can watch the first episode without that bittorrent thing, just normal. I know that is in low version but I am very gratefull with him for do that.
So here am I asking this.... Could you plaese do the same thing for episode 2, please? I wil thank you very very much.

Yuuko is drew a bit strange. Chibi sakura and syaoran are drew too thin. :( They are so different from clamp's style. I like the way how clamp draw the chibi sakura and syaoran. At least, they still have some baby fat on their cheeks. :hehe:
I'm quite glad the anime story at Hanshin Republic is a bit different from the manga else i think i'm going to be bored. I think Sorata and Arashi should appear in the next epi.
Mokona is so cute!! But its size is somehow bigger than the one in the manga. I'm not too sure.

We released episode 2, and it's quite a weight removed from our shoulders. We're now on time with everything. Working on one episode at a time will be fun. I need some sleep. Ah! The anime uses Yuko, wich you will be able to notice in the eyecatch of episode 2. and now... sleep for me.. :snore:

My favorite scene was when we can see the fire lion, or fire animal. That's fantastic, thsi anime is the best!!! ^w^ Syaoran is too kawaiiiiiiiii!!!!!!

i'm back to talk about epi 2.. haha found something funny but it's not that funny now..
anyways.. let's see man clamp totally destoryed yuko's eyes.. oh my god.. actually i noticed that everyone's eyes aren't that that good.. i like the CCS eyes so much better. hehe

after watching this episode.. i have a really big feeling that the anime is going to be really rushed.. *sigh
i found the gang people's voice to be bad.. i was laughing when i saw the fat guy.. LOLZZ!!! haha

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
The first feather she gets right away.
The second is after Fai fights the girl (a part I REALLY want to see) and Syaoran
fights the really big Kudan boy thingy. (yeah, I don't feel like looking the name up)
At least Yuuko began to look a little more like herself as the episode went on.
I hope we get to see Kurogane with his magazine and Touya and Yuki as waiters.
The voices are really great. Fai's is awesome.

Episode 3 should definitely be much better cos there'll be fight scenes and we get to see Kuro-tan's Kudan...hopefully we see Fai's too. :)
I think the thing that made this episode just so-so is the long talk with Yuko.. but I'm not complaining about it. Everything they had talked about is important the plot.

Hi guys. I've been away for a few days (busy with some wokr :) ) Anywayz, before I post a commentary on the episode, the overall comment for it was only average. Something that is quite noticeable, which isn't uncommon in anime series, is that the art work deteriated quite a bit =/ The people looked....funny and weird..lol...Anywayz, more of my comments to come :)

have to agree, syaoran and sakura kinda looked a bit weird in the beginning- didnt look like them at all!!!
have to say, i prefer ep. 1 than 2- as there was more s and s interaction- (guess im waiting for when sakura wakes up!! )
the parts i like was- syaoran recapping the child-hood memories- lil sakura dragging lil syaoran- sooo cute!!! and yeah- protecting from the fireball-. and the part when fye says that syaoran is a bit reckless- when he chases the feather for sakura- and it looks at sakura lying there whilst syaoran runs for his life after the feather- kinda romantic!! and sad in a way!
now waiting for ep. 3!! come on!! :hehe:

Hmm...I honestly did not understand why the talking with Yuuko was VERY long and slow, and the whole "Kudan" thing went by so freaking quickly! What were they thinking? I didn't like how after the OP theme, it went BOOM! We see Yukito and everyone else going to Yuuko, and we see the same thing that happened in the last minutes of Tsubasa Chronicle 1. I found that rather boring, it was 3 minutes!
Even though it was a transition to the next episode...whereas the Kudan, suddenly Masayoshi comes outta nowhere, and we learn about Kudan! WHAA? Isn't that a little fast? We already meet with Shougo and everybody way too quickly. Also, Rayearth doesn't do anything...but in the manga, he supposebly went into Syaoran's body, where Syaoran felt warm inside, instead it just popped up and kicked everybody's butts!
What is with Yuuko? Looking at her gave me shivers. I think she's the only character that looks messed up.
In the Hanshin tower...it said "Hansin"...I thought my spelling were horrible. And who can forget Fye molesting Syaoran when he reached for that feather? Damn, that was so shocking, it was hilarious.

and there i was thinking that yuuko's speech has a li' too much lag timing...the kudan fight kinda reminds me of star wars *bleh, i dunt understand star wars*
mokona does seem to look a li' bigger in the anime, i posted it before somewhere...*forgot* i'm not too demending, all i want is a mokona plushie so i can curb my craving for mashmellows after seeing episode 2 for like the 15th time....

I'm happy that with each chapter I'm loking the anime more and more. I loved the music, it does gives the scenes a different sense, and they seem to enhance every move, every line. I liked the voices as well, especially Yuuko's. And I agree with the poster who said wanted a Mokona Plush... wouldn't we all love to have one? Favorite scenes, there are many, but to mention a few, I woudl say when Syaoran is asked "who is Sakura to him" and he has all those memories **ah!**, I also liked when Fai asks Kuro-pun if it's OK to call him Kuro-chan or Kurorin, and Mokona starts jumping on Kurogane's lap. And did I mention the music??

The Kudan's sound was like...whoa...an eagle when it jumped.....then it sounded like a whale..? >.< *cleans ears and watch again*

so far I love the music of the series and in general I don´t hate it all but Ep. 2 didn´t have the best animation. Hope they fix it soon. I agree, Yuuko looks weird. Also I´m missing the comedy of the manga ;_;

I've got mixed feelings about the anime.
I like the music, I'll play the episodes in the background and just listen to it while I'm on the computer, I like it so much. The animations is "Meh." It could be alot better, but it's not "Oh my god kill me now" bad like some animes I've seen. Some parts seem to be dragged out while some are just like, "Woah...that was quick."
I don't know....I'm sorta leaning towards not liking it.
Maybe Episode three will convince me not to.

anyone noticed that in the manga, when the part sakura lost her wings is in the morning while in the anime its in the night...
and they arrived at Hanshin at morning instead of night which is in the manga...

Yeah. I noticed that. In the manga, it was the day after Sakura went to see Syaoran the first time that she lost her wings. I guess they're trying to speed everything up. Which...oh god...which could mean that there IS only going to be 26 episodes....hmm...still too soon to guess.

and i thought, if she took, she should sent each of them to wherever they wanna go? if its suppose to be like that, then why didnt she sent Kurogane back to the place where he is from?

I think CLAMP's anime usually have several differences from their manga. Although I've only read three of them(MKR and CCS, the last one not completeely), they usually have their differences, but nothing that would make me dislike the series. I guess they also may be trying to speed up the series to keep momentum. Imagine if they had kept the original scene where Sakura goes to bring lunch to Syaoran, the first chapter would have ended, and she still wouldn't have lost the feathers, so I understand why the changes; so far it's OK by me, although I would love to see more comic moments between Fai, Mokona and Kurogane.

I think its was very very devious for Syaoran to ditch Sakura along the road with some car....how could he do that!?
And every scene changes with an entirely different face of the character....especially yuuko...her face was not 'constant' enough.... -_-

Aside from all of the graphic inconsisiancies, Episode two isn't that bad. Even though Yuuko does look very strange, so nice that it's scary. I guess they added as much story as they could with the limited time for each episode.

This episode was ok, although I think that Yuuko was....umm........horrible.
It is just my point of view, of course. I hope that when they do the XXX Holic Anime they make her a bit better.
