Let's see... They cut out the cute mommy/daddy moment, where Fai goes to see Kurogane...
They sorta left in the 'I'll wave for Kuro-tan's behalf too'... Sorta.
Too much Syaoran/Ryuuoh.
Too much fat moustache guy.

They left out the mad drinking, and Kurogane and Fai's talk about changing. Which makes me really really mad!

Kyle looked frigging awesome!
Kurogane's face when Tomoyo said 'Tomoyo-hime', was priceless! Yay!
The Kurogane Tomoyo scene made me hiss in anger...
Most characters seemed crosseyed, and their body poses were all wrong. The animation was just too crappy.
So all in all, This episode was NOT AT ALL what it could've been. But that's just my opinion.
Next episode a filler? Dammit! Why not use the rabbit world then?

It looks like this is the end of the Piffle Arc, then.... Bummer. I liked this bit. Lot's of the cast screaming each other's names in a state of panic. :XD "Fai-saaan!!", "Syaoran-kuuuun!!!", "Kuro-pon!!"... Fun-fun. :keke:
Though this epi didn't quite follow the manga, by the sound of it... yup.

This is what I wrote on my site after the ep aired...
"Wow! You won't believe this but the whole Piffle arc was wrapped up in this episode making it three episodes long! Niiice! Let's hope Bee Train can keep this up for the rest of the season. While the last episode was a bit slow I'm pretty sure watching all three piffle episodes as a whole will make the whole thing flow a LOT better (as with most Tsubasa arcs). BeeTrains seems to be attacking Tsubasa like a book. Read a random chapter and the story goes nowhere, read an entire act in one sitting and it's a completely different experience.
Anyway, as for this episode as a whole the animation was rather good overall though Ryou-ou did see a return of his one-tooth-fang look from last week that simply looks stupid. Good action sequences, no wierd looking faces I was actually suprised by the explosion at the end!
Something that I've thought about before but was reminded of while watching this episode is that Kurogane and Sakura really don't interact at all. In the scene where Kurogane helps her, it reminded me of one of the final episodes of the first season of LOST when Claire asked Sawyer about the raft. It was like episode 20 or something and the two characters had never spoken up until that point. But unlike Claire and Sawyer I felt a bit of chemistry between Sakura and Kurogane. Call me crazy but I hope the writers do something there... but I know they won't.
Something to think about.
Ah, and guess what? Next episode looks like an anime exclusive world! That'll be interesting to see as the first anime only world on the first season sucked and the second one rocked. I wonder which way this'll go? Seems to feature lots of fighting and a huge dragon."
On another note, is there a way to unlock these topics after the episode airs in Japan or at least a few hours before but to tell people not to post unless they've seen it? Waiting 12 hours to post can kill one's enthusiasm. :heh:
My guess is they're making more anime only worlds to pad the season out. Only two other major worlds have been done in the manga after Piffle right? Sharano and Lecourt.

I thought it was pretty good epsiode I just finished watching it, because I had stuff to do all day *Sweatdrop* though animation was not as good, it was still a fairly good epsiode :D
anyways, what I'am really excited for is the nexted epsiode! it looks really good! say what's the manga chapter of nexted epsiode? I must of miss read that one *Sweatdrop* and like to read the manga before it airs, so does anyone reambers? I sure been a long time since you read it lol! but thank you if you know!

But like the previous season, they left out the drunk scene.... :cry: I think we'll never be able to see Syaoran drunk "anime style"...
But yay!! ^^ A totally new world that's not in the manga is going to be their next destination!! ^^ Really look forward to next week's episode. :)

What a great twist! I love seeing the anime before the manga! It's always a let down having to watch the anime after.
p.s. I'm not attacking anyone, but surely there's a better place to talk about episode downloading on these forums. It's getting annoying seeing 50% of the posts say either "I really want this episode!" or "Where can I download this episode?!?" or "My computer's too slow! I want to see it!". :dodge:

I loved Kyle in Jade. And I hoped he hadn't died. And then he showed up again! Yaaay! At first, I also thought Jade country was his home. But now I'm not sure anymore. He could be from Fei Wong Reed's world...
He looks so much better in the second season. In the first season, there was something wrong with his shoulders... O_o

Kyle can now be classified as a Tsubasa villian, and therefore he's now my favourite villian! He beats Fei Wong and Xing what'shername any day! He also beats fat moustache guy. And if that Syaoran were evil, I'd still say Kyle is a cooler villain. But if Ashura turns out to be a villian too, it would make things tougher. I'm not sure who'd be cooler, because we don't know anything about Ashura's personality yet...

I liked the KuroXTomoyo scenes a lot, and Sakura is finally becoming more like her old CCS self

Be patient. It'll come out in time. In the mean time, you could get desperate like me and watch the RAW and play, "What are they saying, and I can I understand them?!" I can understand most of it, with help from the events, but not all. It's enough to satisfy me. All in all, I think it was a good episode. For once, Sakura took charge! You go girl!

Am I the only one who was disappointed with the animation in this episode? I thought the animation went greatly down hill after episode 1 and 2. The shape of the face of the characters were... i dunno what other words to use than "messed up". And the mouths... they were weird chaped triangles the whole time... it's like they were smirking the whole time or something. Kurogane especially looked weird... and Tomoyo's animation quality dropped to (except Tomoyo-hime, she looked pretty ^_^ )
Overall, I liked the episode. The pace was good and as much as I was disappointed that they changed many things, I have to accept that anime is different from manga.
What I'm not looking forward is next week's episode... it's a filler episode, back to the country in episode 26. Returning to country they've been before... something tells me it's a bad idea...

I wonder if that means episode 6 (the magician and the date) is a filler too. Oh, I hope it has to do with Fai and Kurogane! That would make all the KuroxFai shippers very happy! ^_^

I got very annoyed with some of the animation in this episode >__<
all characters looked strange, except Tomoyo, she looked ok pretty much all of the time.
The eyes, the face shapes... have Bee train got lazy?
Now is it me, or is Syoaran starting to look and act less and less like manga Syaoran?
It seems to me (and maybe it's just me) they animate him worse and worse and his character is so serious ALL the time ¬___¬

After Sakura won the race, I thought he might have a cute little comment, but No, he turns and has to say something deadly serious ;___;
There was one shot where he actually looked like Syaoran, when Tomoyo said thank you. that was pretty much it.

I really liked this episode a lot, but I haven't read the manga version of it yet, so I don't know how it compares to the manga. Anyway, I liked how they gave Sakura more of an active role this time around instead of having her always be the damsel in distress. I wonder....if Tomoyohime can send people to other worlds and contact people in other worlds, can Yukito from Sakura's world do the same thing?
It's disappointing that the next episode is a filler-in but not really all that surprising, either. Unfortunately, I never liked Tsubasa's filler-ins, but so far I've enjoyed the second season a lot more than the first, so here's hoping it'll at least be a pretty decent filler-in.

yukito probably could...he's a pretty powerful preist. he knew about yuuko, that she would be the one to help syaoran, so he's probaly spoken to her once before. (plus in ep 4 of season 2, they showed everyone with dimension traveling power, he was included. [tho fai wasnt...not fair...)

I'm disappointed that they left out Sakura's will to stay awake to thank Tomoyo properly...but I'm glad they at least kept the Kurogane-Tomoyo scene...although Kurogane's face looked really bad (his eyes were totally weird) when Tomoyo said she's gonna tell Tomoyo-hime that Kuro's definitely going back

I thought this episode was the worst so far. I didn't like the way the anime handled Piffle world, it seemed way too rushed and compacted into too few episodes for it to even retain a semblance of what it was in the manga. It might be unfair of me to compare the manga to the anime, but they should have at least tried to keep the story a little closer.

Syaoran being so serious at moments he should look more relaxed, Kurogane's lack of passion telling Sakura to carry on the race, the way Sakura, Mokona and Tomoyo got knocked down (I cringed then laughed cause it looked so dumb), the really really bad still graphics... I could go on but I wanna spare myself the pain of recalling them.
The only good thing was the KuroxTomo moment. The way Kurogane looked when he wanted to talk about Tomoyo-hime... it was just so cute! He looked so nervous... it was just so cuuuuute! ^^
Waiting for the next episode to load. Hopefully, it's better.

Hai hai! I completely loved that scene! I'm an avid KuroxTomo fan and seeing that made me go hanyaan! I also loved how he said that he would return to his own world at the end. Kurogane was so kakkoi in that scene!
