Has anyone here heard of it? I love it! :inlove: Well, I did love it, but it seems to be going nowhere in the latest chapters. Especially since there has been no Zero for a while.

Errrm, it's kinda heavy on the shounen-ai, so if you don't like it... then I wouldn't watch it if I were you... You can get the anime at www.animesuki.com, though if you still want it...

Heh heh, yeah sure. It's kinda complicated, but here it goes. XD
First off, everyone in Loveless is born with cat ears and a tail, which falls off after you lose your virginity. O.o Don't worry, that doesn't happen in the show... But you just KNOW, mmk? Also, there is this... *sighs* This is the complicated part.. There are these things called "battle systems" where four people fight (two on one team, two on the other) sometimes to the death. (Which also doesn't happen in the show...) And one doesn't decide who their person they fight with is, it is predestined. Everyone who does the battle systems is born with a "true" name, the main character's is "Loveless". Really, not EVERYONE in the anime does this battle system thing and it is never really said whether those other people even know it exists... O.o Plotholes... Anyway, the way that they battle is by means of words. Not cuss words... Whoever has the prettiest description of how the other person gets hit wins, basically.. It's kinda weird... It's not my... *favorite*... aspect of the show... NOW to the *actual* story.
Aoyagi Ritsuka is 12 years old and his older brother, Seimei, 17 years old, was murdered by a group called the Septimal Moon. (Nanatsu no Tsuki) Now Ritsuka's a psychotic little child with multiple personalities and an abusive mother to boot, and a dad who does nothing about it... Erm, actually he's only IN one manga panel so he doesn't even show up in the anime.. So anyway, Ritsuka goes to a new school and after his first day, he leaves to find that someone was waiting outside for him! It was the oh so lovelay Soubi... And Soubi says he knows about Seimei's murder, and he was Seimei's partner in the battle systems and his best friend! (Their true name was Beloved!) So Ritsuka's like, WTF?, and he and Soubi go to the park together... Even though Soubi is 20.. Did I say that yet? Yeah, he's 20. Erm, maybe this summary is just getting weird.. If you wanna know a particular thing, just ask cuz this summary's goin' nowhere... (I'm a TERRIBLE summary writer...)

Heh heh, sorry, most cat boys are gay... *sweatdrop* Erm, but there are a COUPLE straight people in Loveless, but only one is a catboy... I, on the other hand, watch Loveless for the shounen-ai, so you definitely won't like it as much as I do...

Watched the first episode... interesting! And wow, even a kiss in the first episode! :lol: Soubi is cool... and Ritsuka is pretty cute. ^_^;; That battle was a real WTH moment... but I suppose they'll explain it more later on?
Hmm... episode 2 is on 97% still and stuck there. >_<;;
Oh, and I almost forgot... I love that ending song! So haunting and pretty...

Well, it doesn't disturb me at all! XD Anywho, has anyone here seen the Loveless DVD extras? (Ohayo Loveless-kun?) Those things create nightmares! O.o... No, really they're funny, but still a little weird..

The upcoming official Loveless DVDs will be sub-only. Check your facts before you start pointlessly bashing something. And even if it had a dub track, you could switch over to the Japanese version, but it's going to be sub-only, so I don't know what it is you're complaining about. *coughwannabepuristcough* Anyway, I've seen Loveless and it was a pretty good series, but it felt too incomplete. There's still a lot about the show I don't understand. I think Loveless is probably the first anime I've seen where I actually thought there should be more of it.

I don't think we need to get all personal here, and that post was quoted from way back in September.
And I don't believe AkaiYuki was stating any fact except that she didn't want to see the anime dubbed, which is understandable, considering dubbed anime is not even anime anymore.

First of all, what I said was a JOKE, and second of all, even if it wasn't, it's a bit of a small diss to address as "pointlessly bashing"... And NEWS FLASH, I said that MONTHS ago and the anime wasn't licensed at that time so I DIDN'T KNOW it was sub-only. If you want me to "check my facts", maybe I could check them as soon as they EXIST. What the heck is WRONG with you? Every time I see you post, you're just saying random smart-arse comments to other uses that I personally consider flaming, and last time I checked, flaming isn't allowed here. So you can either quit dissing me all the time, or I'll report you, because you're making CW an uncomfortable place for me, because every time I see you replied to one of my posts, I'm always worried it'll be a diss, and it ALWAYS is! I apologize if any of my posts sound smart alecky. I don't mean to be but sometimes I say things I don't really mean or word things in the wrong way. It's a bad habit I have and I don't always realize that what I'm saying is snarky or rude. I'm really sorry but it's a problem I have and I try to fix it but it's hard to because what seems like a normal sentence to me could come across as rude to somebody else and I don't always realize that right away. I'm sorry again.

Yep, that's true. The anime was 12 episodes long and it finished either late this spring or early this summer (can't remember...) and the manga just released volume 6 recently. (Which is not the last volume, there are still chapters being serialized in Zero Sum. ^_^)

I said the same thing when I first watched Loveless!! (About the anime ending before the manga and all that!) But in my personal opinion, Loveless makes a way better manga to anime transition than Gravitation did (In terms of EVERYTHING. Art, story, characters, EVERYTHING! Then again, this is coming from someone who was SERIOUSLY disappointed in the Gravi anime...) In fact, I may have even preferred the Loveless anime over the manga! However, like Gravitation, it DID leave some stuff out that would have been awesome to see. But in Loveless' case, the anime also has some scenes that weren't in the manga that were awesome!
And as far as doing one or the other first, hmmm... I'd saaaay... You're safe either way, but I personally preferred the anime, I'm not sure why. I guess I just really loved the animation, the music, the voice acting, and pretty much everything else! They did a really good job! (Especially considering the manga wasn't and still isn't finished!)
Anyway, have you heard the main theme song? (Michiyuki is the ending song) I have it, do you want me to upload it? It's great, you'll like it, I promise! XD
