Oh! I'm reading that right now! I just love the style it's written in too...I'm so glad that watching the film made me read this book!
But I'd also like to recommend Stephen King's Dark Tower series. It's a brilliant, 7 book fantasy series, and it blew my breath away!

i just finished reading 'Atlantis' by David Gibbins...
its a Adventure/Thriller about Archaeology.
