Ruby Chan:
Down in the dungeons, Kurogane grunted in frustration as he threw his weight across the room once more...only to be stopped yet again by the strong chains that held him. Turning angrily, he tugged furiously at the chains that held him so close to the wall, but was forced to give up as he realised that all he was doing was tiring himself out.

And a ninja knew that exhausting yourself was no way to win a battle.

Fai.....Kurogane looked up at the stone ceiling, ignoring the spider that was steadily dropping down to visit it's new lodger. Where was Fai? What had Ashura done to him?

As he'd been dragged away, he'd heard a commotion behind him....from listening to the guards' gossip, he'd quickly realised that Fai had tried to attack Ashura. But he had bean beaten too.

I promised to protect you, Fai.....but all I did was end up captured. And they're going to kill me tomorrow, Fai....in front of you. Do you even know that? Do you know that Ashura is going to execute me in front of you to break down the little spirit that you've managed to recover?

Fai......I'm so sorry....I failed you.....

Okamirei:
Syaoran lurked around the castle; unseen from the servants and guards.
Slipping into the dungeons; he found Kurogane bound up in chains inside a room. He looked around; there were no guards..only an old man snoring in a chair..
He peered through the door, trying to grab the enraged ninja's attention. "Kurogane-san! Kurogane-san!"

Ruby Chan:
Kurogane raised his head at the sound of Syaoran's voice, staring up at the kid with despondent red eyes.

"Kid? Is that you?" He called hoarsely. At Syaoran's silent nod, Kurogane snorted and looked down, clenching his fists tightly.

"I failed him, kid. Ashura caught Fai because I failed him.......save yourself and the hime, Syaoran, or try and rescue Fai. Just leave me here to rot." He whispered brokenly.

He knew that as a ninja he wasn't meant to be like this...but inside something had broken when he heard the guards laughing about Ashura getting his old 'pet' back.

Fai:
Fai......I'm so sorry....I failed you.....

Chii sudenlly heard a voice. She opened her eyes and looked around the dark damp cell. She then saw a figure talking to another person. People!! she thought. She tried to escape from her chains, but like so many other times she tried she couldn't. "Hello.is anybody there?" she called out. Hoping and waiting for a response.

Okamirei:
I failed him, kid. Ashura caught Fai because I failed him.......save yourself and the hime, Syaoran, or try and rescue Fai. Just leave me here to rot

He shook his head quickly. "No, I want to help you.." he paused, then added quickly. "I'm sure..Fai-san would want you to save him."He looked at the bolted door, then at the snoring man. Keys..keys..

Sneaking up behind the man, he quickly grabbed the keys. "Kurogane-san!" He threw the keys into the ninja's room.
Suddenly, a coughing spell took hold of him. He crumpled onto the floor coughing.  Not now...
He gasped, looking up. The man was awake, glaring down at him.
