Most of my guy friends don't cry (I know they want to :P), they just kinda say their emotions with words. If guys want to cry, they should. Everyone should cry. One of the side effects of bottling up your emotions is having a nervous breakdown. I know it from experience ^^;.Crying is better than nothing, ya know. Well, it's at least better than, as Fai said, committing suicide or doing outrageous actions. It's an emotion outlet.

In my case, it just so happens that most of my male friends or acquaintances find crying to make them less manly. They believe it makes them more real, though. There are some that I know, though, that think it's less macho to release their feelings, much more cry, and live up to the idea. Thye became really hard drinkers and acted more angsty.

I admit to passing through a point when I didn't want to cry whenever I feel something, so I channeled everything to work, writing, traveling, even drinking, but I still ended up crying anyway.

Heh.. Just my idea.. Don't sue me guys...

Crying does not symbolize being weak nor makes you less manly but yet it means  that you have to let your sadness out, even once in a while. 'Cause if you keep it hard to yourself, it might burst one day and the worst part: you may blunt it on someone else.

So this does not only apply to men but also to women too. Don't keep your emotions locked up in your chests. Open up and share them :)

sowwy...i agree with you
but in this male world..crying..is symbol of weakness..
we live in a machomen world
so..we have to deal with it =P
i heard that the moms tell to their kids..boys don't cry ¬¬'

i also agree with Tenko-kun about..that cuz boys hide their feelings..they..are the ones who commits more suicide that boys.. cuz..they are forced to hide their feelings..thanks to sociaty..stereotype
not all are open about this
i knew some boys that ..cried..without been shammed =P

and my dad..i only looked him..crying once in my enterly life
when my brother died
