I'm working somewhere where everyone around me in at LEAST 10 years older. And no matter how hard I try to make conversation, they just say "that's nice, dear" and turn and talk to someone else. I mean, I'm trying to bridge the gap here, even though it's really tough for someone shy like me to talk...and yet they still treat me as if I were a mental patient! >< Does anyone else have a shyness problem??

i almost have the same situtation, monse-chan
i have a science presentation on tuesday
and since i'm the boss and the presnetation director ( like im the boss in my group)
i have to present everything for our group's presentation.
and i have to research another one so im like really freaked out =_=
i mean i could have not been P.D. or got another job but since im like the only girl and you know how girls are
more like better on presentation and projects and stuffs

I also have a shyness problem. I can't stand being in front of other people, and even when I'm alone I can't hold a conversation very well. It doesn't help that I have a speech disorder.

Don't worry you are not alone. I'm even shy around my family. I hate taking presentions. On April 22, I have this big presention in front of well Lots and Lots and Lots of people. I am doing a Contest on Web design, and I have to do job interviews, talk about the website I did, talk to a lot of judges, and things like that. I'm too scard to do it. >_< my teacher say I will do fine, but I have to go in front of lots of people!!

I also have a speech disorder. Every since I started talking. My parents put me into classes to help me. It did a little but, its still hard.
