Kyaaahhh! Aishiteru, my awesome twin! I'm finally online when you're online ^^ :tongue3: I'm doing just fine. It's the weekend, but I can barely relax because the teachers are dumping all this homework on us >_< Oh yeah! Kyah! I'm not doing fine at all, actually! My walkman just broke, so now I have no music playing device and my sister just got an iPod nano. Great, awesome, wonderful. I've treasured that walkman for many years now! :cries: It died on me... the last song it played was today, and it was "Eyes on Me" from Final Fantasy VIII by Faye Wong. It just slowly died... I think it was struggling to play a couple of songs, then it slipped away... *sob* I know everyone thinks I'm crazy because I'm treating my walkman like a person, but how could I not when it's so faithfully played my newly-burned CDs and didn't hesitate to play "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt four times? I'm so sad... it was a great walkman... helped me through hard times, especially with friends and family. I had it with me when I had so many great memories with friends that have now moved away and I lost contact with.
Ugh, this is so depressing.

haha. cherry-chan! my twin! i think i had the same walkman. haha. was it round?! haha. i've had mine since 2001. ohhhh.. beat that `;P
anyways, i bet you all know by now about my recent break up with my ex-boyfriend, right? well, i have a question for everyone. is 2 weeks too short of a time to start having a little "thing" for someone else? i don't know if i'm forcing myself to crush on someone just because it would be easier to be best friends with my ex-boyfriend again or if i'm just crushing on this person but deep inside i'm still in love with my ex. i'm terribly confused but really happy at the same time. haha. i haven't been this happy in a really long time.

Pardon me just dropping in. This is my first time on this thread.
Anyways, Aishiteru:
I had a friend that had the exact same thing happen. She was going out with this guy for a year or so and then broke up with her boyfriend. She was really sad and wanted to move on, but she still liked the guy. Then she starting crushing on someone else and kept debating whether or not to go out with him. Finally, she asked him on a double date. A day later they broke up.
Turns out she was nowhere near getting over him. I think being with this new guy showed her how much she still liked her ex.
I think break-ups take some time to get through. Even if there's someone you like, maybe you guys should just be friends until you know for sure the time is right.
Cherry-chan:
Yeah, it was round! It was mostly white, with a black edge and this little CD buckle on the side to close it.
Well, if you feel happy around this other guy then by all means, go for it. Don't let and ex take away your happiness! I suppose give it some time. After you start hanging around the other guy more, you'll probably be able to develop your feelings and find out how you really feel. If this break-up was a mutual thing, I suppose it's time to move on. I'm not really a relationship expert, but this is just my opinion :D

i guess that's a reasonable thought. i mean, i've been in a cumulative 3 year relationship with my ex and i never thought it would be that easy to get over him. but you know, liking someone is just a new step to moving on, right? i think so.
