It depends on where your working, really.
Most stores in British Columbia require you to be at least 15. But yeah, Grocery stores here require you to be 16. So I can apply in a little over a month, yay!
I know fast food places in Sidney have 13-14 year-olds working, haha. Crappy service there, if you ask me.

Actually, you can work when you're under 16; you just have to have a permit and there are a lot more rules, especially concerning how many hours you can work and what the conditions have to be. That's why only a few businesses hire anyone under 16; it's usually mostly movies, tv shows, etc. that need child actors that hire children, from what I've heard. Anyways.
Being a college girl off at school five hours from home, it's a big relief to not have to deal with my mom's mood swings and my dad's constant overreactions. My dad tries to make me his 'little girl.' It'd be sweet, if it weren't so annoying. Just a few days after I went home for Christmas, I spent the night at my best friend's house. I hadn't seen her in six months and God only knows when I'll see her again. And a few days later, when I wanted to take a few hours and go see 'Rent' with my older brother (whom I'm really close to) my dad guilt-tripped me for not spending time with the family. I spent three whole weeks with my family. I spent one night with Dagan. One night. They try to baby me in ways they never baby my three brothers simply because I'm the only girl in the family, and then they expect me to be the mother hen and keep my younger brothers in line. And then they get upset with me when I get upset with my brothers because they won't listen to me.

... im also kinda missing the cramp updates.. but since it's passed that time of the month (looks like for everybody who posts here), everybody's probably pretty happy with their, um, periods..

I'm due in 2 weeks, and as far as my crush goes, I haven't seen him in a month, but I go back to college tomorrow so I might see him, and I'll be more than happy to give an update! I hope I see him tomorrow! Ryan-kun, Ryan-kun, Ryan-kun!
