hmm...currently I've been watching Magic Knight Rayearth that I've just bought . By the way , the beasts that represents Hikaru , Umi and Fuu's "ma-shin" are like Syaoran and the gang's kudans...

Exactly right. That's where the kudans came from...modeled from the MKR mashins :)
