Where did your usernames come from?

yeah it is but you can use it for girls too, though its uncommon I believe. vice-versa for -chan also

im not sure thought.. but in CCS, Fujitaka Kinomoto called Sonomi (Tomoyo's mother) as Sonomi-kun.. so im confused as well

Chan can be used for cute boys and any children
and maybe kun for tomboys ?

-kun & -chan can also be used to refer to those younger than the person using the suffix. gender isnt taken into account.  but its mainly boys = -kun and girls = chan. both hold purposes of adding cuteness to the name

lol. well, so says my japanese book anyway. >_>
