I'm looking for any fans of any of the series, although personally I despise DS9 and Enterprise, and dislike Voyager.

My favourite characters were Spock and Data, because they selflessness and quest for humanity was brilliant!

No stupid comments like Star Trek is for nerds, though, please. We've heard it all before, so there's no point cluttering up the board and insulting people.

uh.. but Star Trek fans are generally nerds, and they are generally proud of it ( i know cos i am one !) i used to be a good ol Trekkie, that is till they moved the series on... my Fav series is Next Generation, and i've only seen some of the original movies for the first team (can i say the best Trek movie of all time: Star Trek IV : The Voyage Home) and i loved Picard cos he was just so cool, Next Gen is definatly my fav

Data and Spock were indeed very very cool
and Spock's "that is illogical, i do not understand Human Logic" were always great XD

I preferred Nemesis and The Search For Spock myself....the Voyage Home seemed kinda corny with all the bad puns, etc.

What am I saying? Star Trek is the epitome of corniness!

voyage home was no way corny, it was a pure classic, it had great puns, how can you Not like the experiance of going back in time and experiance all teh Naive ways of humans then !? it was GREAT

I like Star Trek (but I wouldn't call myself a trekkie)

I like all the movies, Wrath of Khan (Movie 2) would have to be my favourite of them all. I could rate them all but I'm not going too.

I enjoy the original series, TNG and Voyager, I've only seen a few episodes of DS9 and a couple of Enterprise and I'd have to say I didn't like them at all.

Did Next Generation end after Data got thrust abck in time? Because no more were shown on Tv after that....

Bother....curse you BBC! First you take away the original series, and then you take away my NG!

Plus, they always seem to repeat the same Star Trek Movies...I've only seen about three/four, and that's because those ones just keep getting repeated!

Oh yeah, forgot my ulitmate favourite ST movie earlier....I can't remember the name though...it was when the Borg invaded the Enterprise - First Contact?

Speaking of which, the episodes where Picard became a Borg were awesome! (Highlight to see)

Looks like I'm in the minority when I say...DEEP SPACE NINE was the best of the series. Sisko was a man's captain, unlike them wimps Picard, Kirk, Janeway and Archer

The final episode of ST:TNG (7th season) was called "All good Thimgs..." and had my favorite character of all the series Q (played by John DeLancie) which brought the series full circle from start to finish.

Voyager was horrible...can we say "Gilligan's Island: Space version"? Find a way home only to have something go wrong. Gilligan was doing that to the Skipper and the Professor all the time

And I agree. Enterprise was a wreck though the storylines improved in the last season however showed a classic example how NOT to finish off a series...what a snoozer

I started buying the ST mag before it stopped....so I ended up with about two movies and nearly 20 episodes of TNG...I was cheesed off when the mag stopped.

I like Star trek but I'm not to trekkie level. I have too many other things to consume my time. but I really liked Enterprise and Voyager a LOT.

SpikeTV in the United States shows two episodes of Deep Space Nine and three episodes of The Next Generation every weekday. Though I'm at work during the day, I've been taping them and then watching them when I get home. I like ST:TNG quite a bit however (and yes, I know how a few ppl here despise the series) Deep Space Nine totally rocks! I'm re-discovering this series and it is an excellent version of the Star Trek mythology IMHO

They've stopped showing ST over here..all series, unless you have SKY. Which I don't.

And they only seem to show about four of the movies on tv, ever.

Over here in Phoenix, almost all the Star Trek series are being shown:

SpikeTV (cable) shows TNG and DS9...
Sci-Fi Channel (cable) shows the Original series...
And a local TV station shows 3 episodes of Voyager every Saturday night.

Most of the season sets of all the Star Trek series run between $69 and $99 here. The Deep Space Nine sets also contain the schematics to the space stations and The Defiant, as well as detailed info about the Founders. Costy but good.

Really? I can't stand that series. After the original series and the Next Generation series, the storylines didn't appeal to me in any of the other series.....it felt like people had tried to modernise it, and in doing so had lost it's originality.

And hands up anyone who loathes the 'Enterprise' series! Not only did it go back in time, but it completely ignored the other series! I mean, Spock was the first Vulcan in starfleet, right? Then in Enterprise (which is set before the original series) they have a Vulcan commander!

That's what I liked the MOST about DS9...the storylines were more solid and fluid than the other series. Considering unlike TNG they didn't travel around since they were at a space station created challenges for the writing team whcih IMO did a great job. The final season it kind of got flat with Gul Dukat becoming a Pai-Wraith and the fate of Sisko undecided left the series unfulfilled.

The term "good idea...poorly executed" comes to mind with ST: Enterprise. A major problem with a prequel, especially one done 40 years after ST: TNG aird...how to deal with the advances of technology in real-time. We all know even today's 21st Century technology made the so-called 23rd Century technnology of ST: TNG look ancient and Enterprise couldn't replicate that. The series also hurt from the writing standpoint. There's no doubt the series could have worked if Berman was not the main writer. By the time a new writing team was in place for the final season, it was over.

Plus the series finale gets my vote as one of the all-time WORSE ones I've ever seen

Hmm.....does anyone else remember all those interviews that came out after the original series where the actors bad-mouthed William Shatner? Saying how he always wanted the good stories for himself, and that he didn't like how Spock had become a 'sex symbol'.
