I think that's the case. After all, he wasn't the only person who could tell that Syaoran was Show contenta created being, or something not exactly human. Kamui and Ashura could both tell after only having been around Syaoran for a small amount of time. I think powerfully magical people must just be able to sense things like that.
I want to see Fai's reaction this whole vampire business once he's fully conscious. What does it mean for his mission?
