I agree alot about Fai and Yuki.
I think though that Yuki's smile is geniune.
He doesn't actually KNOW he's Y--.

Yuki doesn't show his emotions though, and there are a couple times in the anime where you can see a look of surprise on Yuki's face and maybe even a little confusion, when Nakuru is hanging on Touya. Yuki covers it quickly though, by smiling.

I think Fai is like that too.
I'm only up to the end of book five, so I don't know Fai's past, but I feel there is a ton we don't (or I don't!) know yet about him.
But they are both very kind.

For some reason Touya (tsubasa Touya) and Kurogane kind of remind me of each other a bit.
Both would protect the one they love ruthlessly.

Personally I think that Chrno (chrono crusade) and Rei (Beyblade) are very similar, so similar that it is like they are family or something.

Fai [TRC], Yuki [Furuba], and Minoru [Chobits]

I also think... that Umi reminds me {MKR} for no reason in particular, of Kagura (FB) as well... don't ask... i seem to relate everything to kagura-sama ^__^
