WWE RAW Results: 6-6-11

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Caldwell's complete report). Condensed here to in-ring results only.

1 -- WWE tag champion MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY (w/David Otunga) vs. SANTINO (w/Kozlov)

Cole mentioned that non-existent Superstars show, where this feud played out last week. Santino quickly cleared Mike to the outside and started a premature trumpet celebration. Cole recapped the opening segment involving McMahon and Austin as Mike wore down Santino. "C'mon, baby, show 'em why we're the champs," Otunga encouraged from the outside. Santino then came back with the sailor's salute fist drop as Cole called Santino a goofball. On the outside, Kozlov ran over Otunga as confusion ensued. Back in the ring, Santino dropped Mike with the Cobra and it was good for the win.

WINNER: Santino at 4:33. Apparently this positions Santino & Kozlov for a future Tag Title shot against the Nexus scrubs. (*)

2 -- BELLA TWINS (Divas champion BRIE BELLA & NIKKI BELLA) vs. KELLY KELLY & BETH PHOENIX

The Bellas isolated Kelly early on, then Beth tagged in, cleaned house, avoided Twin Magic, and hit the Glam Slam for the pin and the win. Beth and Kelly celebrated the victory, with Kelly remaining in the winner's circle on a quest for the Divas Title.

WINNERS: Beth & Kelly at 2:23.

3 -- REY MYSTERIO vs. C.M. PUNK (w/Mason Ryan)

After an early feeling-out process, Rey knocked Punk to the floor. Rey then flew through the ropes with a head scissors that slammed Punk into the mat. Rey shot Ryan a look, then returned to the ring to continue wearing down Punk. Rey tried to follow up with a top-rope move, but Punk crotched him, hung him upside down, and landed a running attack the mid-section. Punk began wearing down Rey as they hit the top of the hour.

Cole reset the show, noting Andy won Tough Enough. Rey and Punk battled up top and Rey knocked Punk to the mat before nailing a cross-body block. Both men sold on the mat before Rey came flying out of the TV screen with a high-altitude springboard turnaround splash from the second rope. Punk absorbed the attack before hitting a snap powerslam for a two count. Punk lowered his kneepad and tried to use his exposed knee as a weapon, but Rey blocked and set him up for the 619. Ryan hopped on the ring apron, though, and Rey stopped short. No matter, as Rey smashed Punk into Ryan. With Ryan out of the picture, Rey went up top and delivered a big splash on Punk for the win. Rey quickly left the ring as Cole noted the recent singles series is now 1-1. After a replay of the finish, they showed Rey celebrating and Punk showing frustration in the ring.

WINNER: Rey at 8:42. Fine TV match, but they certainly seemed to be saving something for a likely third match in their current "series." (**)

4 -- U.S. champion KOFI KINGSTON vs. ZACK RYDER (w/Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler) -- non-title match

The bell sounded and Cole slipped, calling Kingston's opponent "Zack Ziggler." Ryder scored some early offense and Ziggler noted Ryder has been scouting Kofi in-between YouTube shows. Kofi then made a comeback and scored signature offense on Ryder. Ryder then got up, grabbed the ropes to avoid Kofi, and kicked him away. Suddenly, Kingston smashed Ryder with the Trouble in Paradise for the win. Ziggler continued to heel on Kingston, vowing to take out Kofi if he puts his title on the line. Ziggler added that Kofi's time is numbered as champion.

WINNER: Kingston at 2:40. Effective getting over Ziggler's heel personality and showing off Kingston's offense to build to a future title match. Someone in creative is paying attention. (*)

5 -- BOOKER T vs. JACK SWAGGER

Back-and-forth exchanges early on, then Swagger clotheslined Booker over the top rope to the floor. Swagger followed up with some offense ringside, then rolled Booker back into the ring as Cole continued to plug Twitter. Swagger wore down Booker, but then walked into a leg whip. Swagger rolled to the floor to collect himself and the referee was mic'ed up, which meant a count-out was coming into play. Swagger shouted that he doesn't need this. He stood next to the ring as the ref reached a ten count, giving Booker the count-out win.

Post-match: Bourne jumped Swagger from behind, then Swagger chased him into the ring. Booker intercepted Swagger with a knock-down, then Bourne climbed up top and landed Air Bourne. Cue up Bourne's music, then Booker and Bourne dropped to the mat. Booker's music then played and they did a double Spinarooni. Booker and Bourne hugged it out as Booker celebrated in the ring to conclude the segment. Lawler noted Swagger cost himself some money with the loss tonight. WWE hit a similar note on Superstars last week, but there still isn't a consistent approach to the storyline of wins and losses impacting finances.

WINNER: Booker via count-out at 3:15. The match was already defined-down as unimportant with no hype for Booker's in-ring return, then Swagger was defined down some more. At the end of the day, a "feel-good moment" for Booker and Bourne with no sense of whether there will be follow-up involving Booker. (*)

6 -- WWE champion JOHN CENA & ALEX RILEY vs. THE MIZ & R-TRUTH -- Steve Austin very special referee

The bell sounded when they returned live and the match started with Miz and Cena. They locked up, Riley tagged in, and Miz quickly scampered to his corner for a tag to Truth. Riley and Truth had a brief exchange, then Cena tagged in and Truth scampered to his corner to tag in Miz. More Cena and Miz. In the corner, Cena audibly told Miz, "bulldog," and Cena promptly executed a bulldog out of the opposite corner after calling the spot for the entire audience to hear. The heels then cut off Riley, Cole offered a canned line about the heels rolling, and the show went to break.

They returned from break 30 seconds before the top of the hour with Miz working on Riley. Miz continued to cut off Riley's comebacks and made a cover. Miz scored a nearfall that sounded like a three-and-a-half count because Austin smacked the mat on the way down that sounded like a one-count. Moments later, Miz got in Austin's face to continue their mini-feud book-ending the Tough Enough season dating back to their pre-Week 1 Raw confrontation. Miz and Truth continued to work on Riley before Riley escaped Truth and made the hot tag to Cena.

The arena exploded as Cena hit the ring and ran over Miz, who also tagged in. Cena with the usual routine, the Shuffle, and an Attitude Adjustment tease that Truth broke up. Cena then dumped Truth over the top rope before catching Miz with the STF center-ring. Austin got in close to see if Miz wanted to tap, but Miz grabbed the bottom rope. Suddenly, Truth entered the ring with a chair and Cena dropkicked it away. Cena and Miz then had a double knockdown center-ring.

Riley entered the ring with a briefcase in-hand and teased hitting Cena before popping Miz with the case. Austin ignored it, then took a page from Bret Hart as special referee two weeks ago dropping Miz with the Stunner. Cena followed up with the AA on Miz for the win.

Post-match: Cole complained about the officiating as Austin, Cena, and Riley shared beers in the ring. Suddenly, the Raw GM buzzed. Cole stepped to the podium and angrily read that the referee has blatantly over-stepped his authority in this match. Therefore, Cena and Riley have been DQ'ed. Apparently the GM went to sleep before the end of the main event two weeks ago.

WINNERS: Miz & Truth via DQ reverse decision at 10:44. There was hardly anything here hyping Cena vs. Truth on PPV in two weeks. Truth is being presented as as much of a threat to Cena's title as a blister. (*1/2)

Suddenly, the GM buzzed in again. Cole read that before Austin does something drastic he'll forget, the GM has appointed Austin as the special guest General Manager. Austin slipped out of the ring, grabbed a mic, trashed the laptop and podium, and polled the crowd on whether they want him to be the GM. Austin grabbed Cole by the lapel and proceeded to punch him in the face. Austin rolled Cole into the ring, called for some beers, and doused Cole center-ring. Cena watched in the background as Austin picked up Cole and dropped him with a Stunner. Austin's music played and Cena followed up with an Attitude Adjustment. Cue up Cena's music this time.

Austin and Cena then shared beers in the ring before Austin slipped out of the ring and grabbed the mic again. Cena's music stopped, Austin re-entered the ring, and asked the crowd if they're ready for Raw next week. Austin told Cole he'll see him next week on Raw because Stone Cold said so. Cue up Stone Cold's theme music. Austin grabbed some beers, tossed some beers to Cena, and Lawler signed off with a plug for Austin back on Raw next week for a three-hour show. They closed with a slow-motion shot of Cena and Austin sharing a beer.

1 – JTG vs. YOSHI TATSU

Regal said he liked JTG’s intensity, but still couldn’t understand what he was saying. Match was joined in progress, and JTG gave a knee-lift to Tatsu. Grisham helped out Regal when Regal was looking for a word to describe what JTG has been making, and Grisham told him “impact.” Then under his breath, he said that might not be the word they want to use there. JTG got a near-fall off of a high-impact move. Sunset flip by Tatsu was countered by JTG. High knee-drop for two by JTG. Grisham noted these are the only two Pros whose rookies have been eliminated. JTG worked the arm as the crowd got behind Tatsu. Tatsu dodged charge in the corner. Hard chops were delivered by Tatsu. Spinning heel kick, shades of Savio Vega! JTG avoided Tatsu’s big kick and applied a rear waistlock to ground Yoshi. JTG did some trash talking while holding his opponent down. Tatsu got to his feet, flipped out of a suplex, and kicked JTG in the head. The pin was academic.

WINNER: Tatsu, 5:30 shown. Okay mid-card match. Tatsu has some potential, but I think JTG’s still best served as a tag wrestler.

2 – DARREN YOUNG & CHAVO GUERRERO vs. CONOR O’BRIAN & VLADIMIR KOZLOV

Young and Kozlov started things off. They did some mat work early on. Kozlov backed Young into the corner and laid in a few shoulders. Tag to O’Brian, who worked Young’s arm. Young and Chavo did some heel double-teaming. Chavo flew over the top rope, but O’Brian was too close to the ring, and Chavo barely caught O’Brian with an arm to his back. Chavo rolled O’Brian into the ring and was about to make a cover when they went to break. Seriously?

Back at 5:49 of the tag match. Regal applauded the tag effort of Young and Chavo. O’Brian tried to break free, and finally did, making the tag to Kozlov at 6:45. Kozlov went to work on Young, and dropped him chest-first over the top rope. Kick to the chest, then a clothesline for Chavo. Young walked into a big boot, but Vlad made the mistake of going after Chavo again. Young took out the knee of his Russian foe. The heels worked the leg of Kozlov to keep him from getting to his feet. They cut off the ring as well. This is kind-of tough with a guy like Kozlov, who struggles to sell. O’Brian got the hot tag, and did some nondescript offense. The standard tag finish went into effect, and Young hit O’Brian with his finisher for the win.

WINNERS: Young and Chavo, at 12:10. Young and Chavo looked good as a tag team, but there were a couple of long heat segments on O’Brian and Kozlov.

3 – TITUS O’NEIL vs. LUCKY CANNON

Both Tyson Kidd and Maryse accompanied Cannon to the ring. Grisham read a Tweet from Maryse earlier in the day. She carried a purse that Cannon bought for her. O’Neil powered Cannon down off of a lock-up. The two men brawled in the middle of the ring in lieu of actually communicating and doing a move. Running boot to the seated Cannon by 29-take Titus. Cannon gained control and choked O’Neil in the ropes. Cover by Cannon for only two. He settled into a rear chinlock and the crowd was quick to get behind the big man. Grisham talked about O’Neil’s college football days at Florida. Knees to the face by Cannon, who then shoved Titus to the mat. Hornswoggle got the crowd into it, but Cannon again took O’Neil down for a two-count. More work on the neck. O’Neil came back, but ended up crashing to the floor when Cannon shoved him into the ropes, and O’Neil inexplicably fell through. Hornswoggle, on the opposite side of the ring, gave Maryse a velvet case and inside was a candy necklace. He grabbed her leg and she hit him with her purse. Cannon started yelling at Horny when Maryse’s purse exploded. I guess it’s a fake. Maryse was pissed and hit Cannon with her purse. Cannon turned around into O’Neils finisher for the win.

WINNER: O’Neil, at 5:18. Neither man looked smooth here.

1 -- JTG vs. CHRIS MASTERS

The bell sounded and JTG just kind of sat in the corner still sporting his Yankees cap to get over his heel persona. Masters wanted a piece of JTG, who slowly disrobed to make Masters wait to lock up. Masters landed some early offense, then JTG backed into the corner to cut off Masters's momentum. More stalling from JTG eventually gave him an opening while Mathews continued to talk about Masters being one or two steps away from being a "huuuuuuge" player in WWE.

Masters mounted a comeback at 3:00 and went to the second rope for a leaping shoulder tackle. More power offense from Masters, but JTG cut him off in the corner and went back to work on Masters. JTG called for the mug shot, but Masters avoided and followed right up with the Masterlock grip. JTG had nowhere to go and the ref called for the bell on a submission victory for Masters.

WINNER: Masters via submission at 4:38. Your basic Superstars match promoting the idea that Masters is just a few steps away from being relevant. (*)

2 -- MARYSE & MELINA vs. GAIL KIM & EVE

Prior to the match, Stanford noted Gail Kim's victory over Melina last week on Superstars. Mathews added that all four have held women's title gold in WWE. Mathews then segued a discussion about the Divas being all-stars to a plug for the three-hour Raw this Monday on Raw. He said the Raw GM is taking the week off to give the reigns to Steve Austin. Vacation? In WWE? That's absurd crazy talk. Meanwhile, the heel Divas isolated Eve early in the match trying to secure an early victory.

Gail eventually picked up the hot tag at 3:00 and cleaned house on Melina. The action then broke down when Maryse got involved. Gail and Melina were left alone in the ring and they played off the finish to their match last week when Gail tried to counter Melina's finisher with Eat Defeat, but Melina avoided Eat Defeat and landed her leg-split drop. It was good for the pin and the win.

WINNER: Melina at 3:47. Formula Divas tag match. Melina picks up an even-steven victory over Gail this week to keep their mini-program going.

3 -- YOSHI TATSU vs. TYSON KIDD (w/Vickie Guerrero)

Korpela noted Striker was out there last week as Kidd's agent. Striker said he is, but he instructed Kidd to try out all potential managers to find the right fit. Nice start to the match with some strong exchanges between Yoshi and Kidd. Meanwhile, Striker presented a heel argument that Kidd is better than Bret Hart. "Kidd is money," Striker said the slogan is. Meanwhile, Yoshi executed a combination knee strike to the gut and Northern Lights suplex for a nearfall. Kidd came back with an attack to the knees, knocking Yoshi to the floor. Yoshi sold a knee injury as they cut to break.

Back from break, Kidd continued to work over Yoshi, targeting the injured left knee. Striker suggested potential Smackdown matches of Kidd vs. Sin Cara or Kidd vs. Daniel Bryan as he advances up the ladder. Yoshi sold he was in jeopardy with the "injury," then he flung Kidd away to the floor to buy some time.

Back in the ring, Yoshi rolled out of a sunset flip attack with a desperation kick strike for a two count. Yoshi mounted some more offense, prompting Vickie to pick up her pacing ringside. Kidd scored some return offense, but Yoshi fired back with a signature roundhouse kick for a three count for the win. Post-match: Striker lamented his client's loss before a replay aired. They cut to ringside showing Vickie arguing with Kidd. Vickie shouted in Kidd's face that he needed to listen to his advice. They signed off with the discussion still ongoing ringside.

WINNER: Yoshi at 11:40. Another perfectly fine singles match between Kidd and Yoshi. The search for a manager continues for Kidd... (**)

1 -- Knockouts champion MICKIE JAMES & TARA vs. ANGELINA LOVE & WINTER

The match built to a face-to-zombie exchange between Mickie and Angelina to promote their Knockouts Title match at the PPV. The heels eventually isolated Mickie, who made a comeback. Madison Rayne then showed up ringside to distract her old friend, Tara, and her former foe, Mickie, which allowed Angelina to pick up a win. Winter told Angelina to break Mickie and Angelina added a final insult to injury ahead of their KO Title match on Sunday.

WINNERS: Angelina & Winter at 4:26. Basic continuation of the build-up for the PPV.

2 -- ALEX SHELLEY & TNA tag champion JAMES STORM (w/Robert Roode) vs. MEXICAN AMERICA (HERNANDEZ & ANARQUIA w/Rosita and Sarita)

The bell sounded and the match seemed to jump ahead in the match with Shelley and Storm trading tags working on Anarquia. Hernandez then crotched Shelley behind the ref's back and Magnus said that's an example of the tag champs not having continuity. He called them "two selfish pricks." Taz quipped back you can't say selfish on the air. MA began working over Shelley, then Hernandez randomly climbed up top and airballed a splash. Storm then hot-tagged into the match and back-dropped Anarquia to the mat.

The action broke down moments later and Storm clotheslined Hernandez over the top rope. Shelley then went flying through Storm's legs with a suicide dive ringside. Storm then had a pin on Anarquia, but R&S distracted the referee. Storm responded by spewing beer in R&S's faces. Shelley then went for a superkick on Anarquia, but he ducked and Storm ate the kick. Anarquia made the pin for the win, drawing concern from Roode ringside. Afterward, Shelley tried to explain himself as Beer Money tried to act cool.

WINNERS: Mexican America at 4:29. A last-second desperation attempt to make it seem like the Tag Titles are in jeopardy against British Invasion, who haven't been on TV in weeks. Magnus was solid on commentary to assist in the endeavor.

3 -- ROB VAN DAM vs. BULLY RAY

The bell sounded and RVD went to the turnbuckles looking to pose for the crowd. Ray took advantage of RVD acting cocky and yanked him down to the mat. Ray blasted RVD with chops and hard slaps as Tenay plugged ODB vs. Sky still to come tonight.

Suddenly, A.J. Styles was shown standing in the Impact Zone watching the match. It took a while for the audience to recognize him. Ray didn't see him in the stands and continued to stalk RVD. Ray eventually spotted Styles in the stands and asked if he was trying to get in his head. Meanwhile, RVD was selling forever on the other side of the ring. Ray then scooped up RVD for a piledriver, but RVD back-dropped Ray and landed a springboard back kick. RVD quickly went up top and landed a Five-Star Frogsplash. RVD with the cover for the win. Tenay said he thinks Styles did get in Ray's head ahead of their match on Sunday.

WINNER: RVD at 3:25. RVD and Tough Enough Andy are in the running for worst babyface in wrestling right now. Fine set-up for Ray vs. Styles at the PPV, although they missed out on a video package or basic recap of why exactly Styles is so upset with Ray to hammer home that point.

4 -- ODB vs. VELVET SKY

ODB scored a nearfall five seconds into the match, then went to work on Velvet. ODB threw out "skanky b----" as she tried to choke out Velvet in the ring. Velvet mounted a comeback, but ODB ran her back-first into the ringpost on the floor. More vulgarity from ODB, then she got too cocky on offense, allowing Velvet to hit a DDT for the surprise win.

WINNER: Velvet Sky at 5:10. A double-dose of lewdness this week.

5 -- TNA World Hvt. champion STING & TV champion ERIC YOUNG vs. MR. ANDERSON & GUNNER

Sting and Anderson were set to start things off, then Anderson did the old heel bit teasing a lock-up before tagging out to Gunner. The heels eventually took advantage of the numbers game to corner Sting, which brought Anderson into the match to work over Sting. The heels worked over Sting for a bit before EY tagged in and came in hot. Young dropped a top-rope elbow on Gunner, but turned his back on Anderson. Young faked the green mist, causing Anderson to duck, then Young popped Anderson with a dropkick.

Young started celebrating too soon and Gunner bumped Young into Sting. It counted as a legal tag, bringing Sting into the ring to take Gunner's TKO-like finisher. Gunner with the pin on Sting for the win. Didn't Gunner get the memo the mission was to hurt Sting, not win a silly wrestling match? The announcers sold the decision as the biggest of Gunner's career. Sting, unhurt, got to his feet and shoved down Young, who was back to a comedian celebrating as if his team won. Tenay said they would have reactions next.

WINNERS: Anderson & Gunner at 4:56. Yes, Gunner pinned the World champ ahead of a TNA Title match on Sunday. Doing the math, Gunner should be the champ - Young pinned #1 contender Anderson last week, Gunner pinned World champ Sting this week, and Gunner is the only one without a loss?

WWE Smackdown Results: 6-10-11

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Park's complete report). Condensed here to in-ring results only.

1 – THE CORRE vs. THE USOS & EZEKIEL JACKSON

The announcers were shown on camera during Corre’s entrance, and Booker T. gave his thoughts on Christian’s new attitude. At Capitol Punishment, Jackson gets another shot at the IC Title when he faces Barrett. Mathews gave some background on the Usos, as I believe this is the first time they’ve teamed on Smackdown since being drafted from Raw. I think one of them may have lost in a squash match a few weeks ago. Jackson tossed Heath Slater around for a bit to start. Flying shoulder tackle by Jimmy Uso, as Slater backed himself into the corner to halt the onslaught. He tagged Justin Gabriel, who fell victim to an arm-drag. Jimmy danced, bringing back memories of his father Rikishi, before taking Gabriel down. Mathews called Gabriel “a self-proclaimed extremist.” But what does that mean? Jey missed a corner splash and Gabriel grabbed a headlock. Jey was sent out of the ring and Slater capitalized, slamming his head into the announce table. Josh talked about Corre finally being on the same page as they went to break at 3:21 of the match.

Back at 8:26. Yes, we missed more than five minutes of the middle part of the match. I had no idea how much of the matches you miss until I started timing these out. Side slam by Barrett for two on one of the Usos. More work on Jey by Slater. Off the ropes, neckbreaker by Slater, and that got him a two-count at 9:56. Frequent tags by the Corre. Jey kicked Barrett when he put his head down prematurely, and Jackson tagged in. Barrett scurried to his corner and tagged Gabriel to avoid Jackson. He then tried to walk out, but Slater stopped him and yelled at him. Barrett continued his walk anyway. Bodyslam for Slater, then a double superkick by the Usos. Jackson then focused on the legal man, Gabriel, with a few bodyslams, which Booker called “slam city,” channeling Taz. Torture Rack for Gabriel, who submitted.

WINNERS: Jackson and The Usos, at 11:39. Just continuing to tease the break-up of Corre. Strange to see the Usos in a meaningful match, not to mention on the winning side.

2 – TRENT BARRETA vs. JINDER MAHAL

Mathews said Orton just arrived at the arena. Great Khali came to the ring with Mahal. Barreta shoved Mahal to start, but Mahal was having none of that. High back body-drop by Mahal. “USA” chants by the fans. Barreta flipped out of a suplex and gave an enziguiri to Mahal. Running back elbow in the corner by the former Dudebuster. He went to the toop, but Khali climbed the steps to distract him and Mahal pulled him off the ropes by his hair. Full nelson slam by Mahal to go to 2-0 in his WWE career.

WINNER: Mahal, at 1:29. Mahal has been pretty impressive in his limited time in the ring the first two weeks.

3 – TAMINA vs. AJ

Tamina was already in the ring, and Rosa was with her. AJ came out to her new pop-ish theme music (which sounds like it could be sung by Miranda Cosgrove or Miley Cyrus), and Nattie seconded her. Back elbow by Tamina started the match. AJ’s offense didn’t get her far, and Tamina headbutted AJ. Slam by Tamina, then an arm-bar. Hair pull put AJ down as Booker was distracted by Rosa, who was standing in front of the announce table. AJ came back with a dropkick to the knee, then a running knee to the face. Tamina kicked out at two. Mathews talked about the team-building events that AJ, Nattie and Kaitlyn have been taking part in. Cross-body by AJ was caught by Tamina, who readied for her finisher, but AJ rolled her up out of nowhere for the win.

WINNER: AJ, at 2:02. AJ has some Mickie James in her as far as her pluckiness. She can be a good underdog for the Divas division, and I think the fans will really get behind her.

4 – SIN CARA vs. TED DIBIASE

Rhodes and his baggers trailed behind DiBiase upon his entrance. The baggers handed out bags to the front row fans. Snap mare by Cara, then a springboard cross-body for two, thirty seconds in. Cara went flying again, taking DiBiase down with a wristlock. He seemed to botch a flip, but stayed on offense. DiBiase got his boot up in the corner and then kicked Cara again in the head. He set up for Dream Street but Cara countered. He went for a springboard move, but as he did, Rhodes pulled Cara’s leg out from under him, drawing the DQ.

WINNER: Cara, via disqualification, at 1:51. I like the DQ finish – Cara wasn’t going to lose to DiBiase, and Teddy can’t really afford another clean loss, especially now that he seems to be on the cusp of being relevant again.

5 – DANIEL BRYAN & SIN CARA vs. TED DIBIASE & CODY RHODES

Match was joined in progress. Rhodes was hesitant in coming into the ring to face Bryan. Cara surprised Rhodes after a tag with a springboard dropkick. Rhodes tossed Cara shoulder-first into the ring post. DiBiase tagged in to work the arm and shoulder of Cara. Cara attempted to apply a submission hold, but DiBiase escaped and the heels continued the beat-down. Single-arm DDT by Rhodes for a near-fall. Some heel double-teaming by the former Legacy members. Top wrist-lock by Rhodes, continuing to ground Cara. Cara tried to escape through Rhodes’ legs to make the tag. Rhodes grabbed him, but an enziguiri put both men down. They both made tags and Bryan got the best of DiBiase. Running dropkick in the corner, but only a two-count. He went ot the top and fended off Rhodes. Cara dove through the ropes onto Cody, and DiBiase met Bryan on the top. Bryan sent him down, then jumped on him. DiBiase caught him, but Bryan kept the momentum and ended up hooking on the LeBell lock for the submission win.

WINNERS: Cara and Bryan, 6:27 shown. Fine tag match. The more action Cara gets, the better for him in his future.

6 – SHEAMUS vs. RANDY ORTON – NO-DISQUALIFICATION MATCH

Sheamus took the fight to Orton in the corner once the bell rang. Elbows to the back of the head of the champion, then a forearm to the chest. Thesz Press by Orton to turn things around. He threw Sheamus already out of the ring, and Sheamus was already sporting a nice big red spot on his back. He was whipped into the barricades, then clotheslined. Back heel trip by Orton back in the ring, followed up by a missed knee drop. Sheamus soaked in the jeers as he waited for Orton to get to his feet. He went for a diving shoulder tackle, but Orton dropkicked him to ringside. Orton was limping as he retrieved Sheamus and continued battering his foe into the barricades, then head-first into the steel steps. He tried to step on Sheamus’ head when it was on the steel steps, but Sheamus pulled Orton’s leg, sending Orton face-first into the steps. Sheamus tried to recover while Orton was down as they went to break under 4:20 into the contest.

Sheamus held Orton at bay in the ring just over 8:00 into the match as the show returned. Two-count registered at 8:45. Back to the rest-hold went Sheamus. The slingshot shoulderblock connected on the second try, and the Irishman got a two-count. Back suplex by Orton, and both men were down at the 11:00 mark. Orton slithjered into position for an RKO, but it was just a tease. After all, he didn’t hit all of his signature moves yet! The two men went toe-to-toe with rights in the middle of the ring. Orton got the best of it, but Sheamus countered the Orton DDT and back-dropped him to ringside. Orton was thrown into the ringsteps. Sheamus dropped the steps over the lower back of Orton. He shoved Orton back into the ring at 13:44. The steps were placed into the ring as well, but Orton caught Sheamus with his unique back-breaker (that brought Sheamus down across his injured lower back) for two. He didn’t even sell the back. Orton put the steps into position, but Sheamus pulled him head-first into the middle turnbuckle.

Sheamus tried to slam Orton onto the steps, but Orton instead gave Sheamus a released powerslam onto the steps. That looked dangerous. Orton took his time to make the cover, allowing Sheamus time to kick out at two. At 16:00, Sheamus fought back once again. Irish Curse back-breaker for two at 16:24. Sheamus went to ringside and pulled a Kendo stick from underneath the ring. He belted Orton a few times with it in the upper torso, then in the head. Only a two-count. Crowd chanted “Randy” to try to get him back into the match. “In this business, there are a lot of sick, sick individuals,” said Booker. How right he is. Sheamus ended up with his foot tied up between the middle and top rope. Orton spied the Kendo stick and smiled. He clobbered Sheamus with it over and over again. Rope-assisted DDT by Orton at 19:08. As he readied for the RKO, Christian came from out of nowhere and attempted the Killswitch. He couldn’t connect and escaped the ring to allow Sheamus to double axe-handle Orton in the face. Still only a two count. Christian stayed at ringside. Sheamus set up for the High Cross, but Otron countered. He dodged the Brogue Kick and nailed the RKO. Christian came in and knocked Orton out with the World Title. Sheamus crawled over and made the cover for the three-count.

WINNER: Sheamus, at 21:14.

Christian held the title over a fallen Orton as the logo popped up on the screen and the show closed out.
