well theres one crossover we can be sure to see then: the other syaoran* visiting yuuko. it will be (has to be) near identical between the holic anime and the trc OAV. there will e diferences like the mangas were slightly diferent, but thats one thing to look forward to in both ^__^
*i say "other syaoran" because, with the lack of the spoiler tag, those who read the manga oughta be cuteous to those who only watch the anime.

I haven't seen much of the xxxHolic anime (there's just something about the way it's animated that to me makes all the characters look like the offspring of Sally and Jack Skellington, which bothers me), but of what I've seen, the opening and ending themes annoy me the most.
All the TRC OP's and ED's are clearly written especially with the series in mind ( i e, the lyrics match the show), but in the 'holic anime it seems they've just picked random songs. I mean, the first OP sounds like implied Yuuko/Watanuki... o_O
So I really hope the songs will be sung by other artists this time. And if it's true that there's going to be TRC references in this season, I might start following the anime more closely from now on.

Well I agree with you that they are far too tall in the anime sometimes, They are tall in the manga too but then the proportions look better. But still I liked the xxxHoliv anime better then the Trc anime.. It's true that the lyrics didn't fit the series, but atleast they were good songs. Though it would be fun if they would try to fit the lyrics better this time.
