Lomachislots War - Lost Childhood (Original) ~
Director of Music:
Andy stopped moving around as soon as he heard the lone voice pierce the air. All around them was silence as everyone looked on first, to locate the singer, then to just pause and listen to the beauty of it.
Kasawa Lanford:
Sakura continued to sing; her voice was quick to flood the surrounding region. Workers in their blacksmith shops stopped and looked out their windows, people in windmills likewise turned toward the location of the singing.
"Beautiful voice..."
"Must be a student at the academy...."
Some people said as they listened.
At the amphitheater, Sakura hadn't realize that while singing the above ceiling rafts and guide beams began to show signs of spliting, cracks ran across the . Sasha continued to listen, her eyes closed and her head bobbing back and forth.
The twins looked at each other, smiled, then looked back at Sakura and continued to listen. Sakura's uniform fluttered in a nonexistant breeze, whipping up into the air.
Director of Music:
All was very peaceful. That is, until the first person heard a sound of wood cracking. At first, they dismissed it, but then the sound grew louder. The mass of people looked up just in time to see a pillar come crashing down.
Kasawa Lanford:
Sakura had continued to sing until she noticed the glances up at the ceiling; she looked up just as the ceiling crumbled apart and began to fall. Sakura instinctly ducked, covering her head, as debris fell around her. Not again.. not again.. not again! Sakura thought as she covered her head.
"Sakura!" Rin and Anise shouted and ran toward her; she made it to the girl before they all heard a large 'crack' above them, a large portion of the ceiling suddenly seperated from the beams that had initially held it up. The two looked up, petrified with fear.
Director of Music:
Andy heard the cracking and immediately sensed trouble. He knew he wasn't that fast, but he just had to try. Mustering all the strength he had he raced over to Sakura, grabbing her, just seconds before the pillar fell, right where Sakura would have been.
At the other side of the room, Andy set Sakura down, panting heavily.
