Kasawa Lanford:
Yoko shrugged her shoulders. "I know something is wrong, but I can't figure out what. The Elder wants to perform the surgury on Phineas cause if he doesn't, then the magic that we are learning will do far more damage to Phineas's body," Yoko said softly. "The other thing is that if Phineas doesn't change his attitude soon, the other students will take notice and I fear that some of them may decide to fix the problem themselves, that's why the Elder plans on talking to him after this morning's session, perhaps try and figure out 'what' is wrong," she said.

Ranmaru, even though she wasn't close, nodded as if she had heard the whole thing - and in fact, she had, via telepathy. Yoko, let's wait a few more minutes then we'll begin, Ranmaru said telepathically.

Fine by me, Yoko responded. "If you want to try and help Andy, thats fine, he is your friend after all," Yoko said softly and pushed off the fence. "Ok everyone, we'll be statring in just a few minutes," Yoko shouted. She then looked over at Phineas, a smile creased her face as she watched him, then she turned her attention toward the sky.

Director of Music:
Andy nodded, now lost in his own piece of thought.  He had to help Phineas.  He just had too.  Phineas had always been there for Andy, even if it didn't feel like it sometimes.  Now, Andy decided, it was HE who was going to help Phineas.  He'd support his friend.  He'd make him change his mind too.

Kasawa Lanford:
As the clouds covered the sky a distant rumble could be heard; it quickly got the attention of some of the students who began to leave the field, others just stayed and continued to practice.

"Ok," Ranmaru said. "Let's begin," she walked over to the center. "We'll start off with a lecture, so go ahead and take a seat in front of me," she told them. Anise and Rin did as they were told and got down in what was known as a seiza, or they sat on their legs, with the top of their feet on the ground while the bottoms were facing upward.

Director of Music:
Andy quickly followed suit, sitting next to the twins.  Phineas sat slightly farther behind the group and cautiously sat down.

Kasawa Lanford:
"As you four already know, each of you has a special ability that only you possess. While you don't know yet what it is, you'll figure it out as you train," Ranmaru said as she paced back and forth. "This ability can allow you to do things that others can't. Like calm a histrical person, or move from one point to another in the blink of an eye. As example is Yoko's teleportation ability, she can move a person from one point to another. However, the more powerful the ability, the more taxing it is on your body. As I'm sure you noticed, when Yoko teleported us out of the hospital she became very tired."

Yoko nodded. "The more people I teleport, the more power I need. While the less I teleport, the less I need," she said.

Ranmaru nodded. "Another thing about your abilities. Some are good in certain situations, like what Yoko has. However, others like what I possess are not always useful. My own ability turns me into wind, as you probably felt when I attacked Black Rose back there. It's useful when there isn't much weather, but during heavy weather that ability is useless," she said to them and clasped her hands.

Behind her Yoko walked around her and toward the group. "Our abilities aren't our only means of helping others; we also each have our own personel armor and weapons. Right now none of you can summon either of them, because you need a cresilise," she said and stretched her hand out, palm facing upward. A dark orange sapphire suddenly appeared in her hand, "this is called a Cresilise. It control's our powers and allow's us to use more advanced spells,"

"Also," another student said, interupting Yoko. Yoko glanced at the student but didn't say a word. "You only have a certain amount of time when using your armor and weapons. For us first year's its a five minute limit, because we don't possess much of a power pool. A power pool is where our magic come's from, be warned that if you use up all your power than you'll be dipping into your reserves," the student said and placed her hand on her arm. "As you do that you'll become more and more tired, that's why the instructors here will insist that as you get low on power you should abandon the match," she said and then bowed and took a step back.

"Thank you Sasha," Yoko said.

Ranmaru smiled. "Your armor is called a 'battle dress uniform' or 'BDU' and it protects you from both physical and magical attacks. At this current time your BDU is your current mage uniform, you won't be able to access your personel BDU until after you pass your basic test. Now, your weapons are different, those are based on what type of magic you use," she said and then shook her head. "You are only allowed to use training weapons right now, once you pass the advanced test you will be allowed to summon your personel weapon," she said and then collasped her hands in front of her chest. "Any questions?"
