Lomachislots War - Lost Childhood (Original) ~

The two boys followed the priest down a series of twists and turns. They arrived at a grand oak door. The priest opened it and bowed slightly. Andy stepped in first. His jaw dropped. The ceiling was a brilliant shade of gold and white and the huge columns ran through the ground. They intertwined with the grand curtains which swayed at the open window. The floor was padded with a very plush, soft green carpet, and Andy could sink his feet in them.
Phineas stepped in next. He took his time in observing the ornate room. Two king sized beds furnished either side of the room. The room was about three times the size of Phineas's home. There was a sofa near the middle of the room, and a fireplace, already lighted, heated the room up with a soft bright light.
Phineas managed to speak first. "Well. It seems we're...welcomed here."
Andy managed a nervous laugh. "Yeah...no kidding."

The priest bowed a second time. "Miester Ranmaru will be with you in an hour, until then feel free to make yourselves at home. If you are hungry just let me know and I'll guide you to the cafeteria," he said and stepped out of the room and to the side of the door.

"How bad?" Ranmaru asked upon stepping into the infirmary. The room was bathed in a light white color with several beds and a few machines, these machines appeared to be both technologica, yet magical at the same time. One displayed a heart rythem, while another displayed breathing.
"Miester, uh... ahem... I wasn't expecting you so soon," the doctor said. "Rin's condition is serious, her bloods been poisoned and her immune system is attacking it's own blood, thats why she is dieing."
Ranmaru sighed. "So that's why she seemed to be in such a bad shape, how long before the Elder Cleric arrives?"
"He'll be here in a few minutes, but I think its best you take care of Yoko. I could hear some yelling coming from her quarters," the doctor said.
Ranmaru blinked. Yelling? "I thought I told them to take her here?" she said. "Ok, keep me informed," she said and let the infirmary.

After the priest left, Andy plopped down on the couch and sighed. Phineas sat on the edge of one of the beds and looked out the window. Silence gripped them until Andy broke it. "So how long do you think we'll be here?"
Phineas shrugged. "I don't know. I wish I did though. I have a lot of questions that are still unanswered. But I have a feeling they'll be answered one way or another in due time."
Andy looked over at his motionless friend. "I trust you."
Phineas turned and looked at Andy. "Why would you trust me?"
Andy was surprised. "I...what kind of question is that?!"
Phineas replied, "A serious one."
Kasawa Lanford:
"Serious.. not serious.. we all have questions and we all want answers," a cat said from a top one of the beams that ran across the ceiling of the room, "I've never seen you two children before." The cat jumped down from the beam and landed on all fours. His fur was gold with some strands of red mixed in. His paws were flour white and he showed signs of just coming out of a cat nap. He sat down and stared at the two boys, "So? Who are you?" he smiled at them.

Even before Ranmaru had arrived at the building housing Yoko's quarters she could hear the commotion and see the results. An exterior window of Yoko's room exploded outward from an unknown force that was applied to it. The glass shards fell until they were ten feet from the ground then turned into liqued that melted into the ground.
She made her way up the stairs until she got the floor that Yoko's room was on. Beside the door leading into the room was an Elder Meister trying to talk to Yoko, but everytime he came around the doorway a pot or something would fly his way and shattered onto the wall behind him.
"Having trouble I see," Ranmaru said in a calm tone. She peered around the corner and into the room, Yoko was crying into the pillow on her bed, the room was in utter disarray with furniture overturned and windows broken.
The Elder looked at her and smirked, "to much trouble, you'd think an eight year old wouldn't understand the concept of death," he said. "We might have to use a snare spell just to stop her from ruining her room further," he said before watching Ranmaru walk past him. "H-Hey! Wait!"
Ranmaru strolled into the room and toward Yoko's bed. "Get away! I want to be left alone!" Yoko shouted as a lamp near by suddenly lifted off the table and flew toward Ranmaru. She caught the lamp with her hand and set it down, repeating this process several times with multiple objects until she got to Yoko's bed. Yoko looked up at her, tears flowing down her face like a waterfall, before burying her head back into the pillow.
"Is it true..." Yoko said, her voice muffled by the pillow.
"It is..." Ranmaru said and sat down on Yoko's bed. "She gave her life protecting your own," she said.
Yoko gave a light nod and continued to cry. "I know.. but I wish she was still here..."
"I do to, we all do, Lurea was a piller of light to many mages here, and well respect," Ranmaru said and placed her hand on Yoko's head. Yoko just shook her head and continued to cry.

Andy jumped, throughly shocked. Phineas managed to stay seated and looked at the cat. He stood up. "Phineas Williams."
Andy, still rather scared replied shakily, "Aaa-Andy Baldwin."
