Lomachislots War - Lost Childhood (Original) ~
Kasawa Lanford:
The fire had already begun to grow in intensity, soon the black smoke reached the silent alarm which tripped in the security office. However, strangely enough, the office was empty with no security guards in sight.
On the fire control panel, a room in the basement was flashing red with the words 'fire alarm triggered'.
Director of Music:
Andy was not having any luck whatsoever. He had gone through the right side of the lodge three times and there was no sign of Rin.
Phineas decided that this had gone on far enough. He knew he should alert security. He ran to the hallway where the security office was. He looked in, out of breath, but then saw no one was there. He was angered by this, but before he was about to leave, he saw the words 'fire alarm triggered' and a blue print of a room which looked like a blue print. Bells started going off in Phineas's head as he took a deep breath and rushed down to the lower layers of the lodge.
A couple of minutes later he was standing in front of the basement door. Smoke was pouring out of it as he started hacking. He looked around and saw a fire extinguisher nearby. He broke the tap off and sprayed it against the smoke. The door, weakened by the fire inside, opened easily as Phineas kicked the door open. He extinguished the fire as best as possible and then saw Rin there. The young girl was unconcious and Phineas put her on his back and ran back towards the lodge.
Kasawa Lanford:
By now Rin's teacher along with several other staff had been alerted to the fire when they to had gone to security to get help. They all grabbed fire extinguishers on the walls and rushed to the basement to find Phineas heading out.
Rin's teacher handed off the fire extinguisher to another adult and helped Phineas. "Take her to the nurse's room," she told him.
Director of Music:
Phineas nodded and quickly ran with Rin. On the way he bumped it Andy who held the door open to the nurse's room. The nurse, quite frazzled, gently took the child off of Phineas's back and layed her down on the bed. She put an oxygen mask on Rin's face and began inserting fluids.
The two boys stood side by side, breathing heavily.
Kasawa Lanford:
Anise had been startled by the sudden apperence of both Andy and Phineas, but also by Rin's teacher. She sat up and then saw Rin laying on the bed, she didn't get up though and instead just kept watching.
Rin's clothing was mostly burned, only her skirt and shirt that were under her uniform remained. When the nurse was done inserting the IV lines she noticed the plastic wire that was around her wrists, she didn't say anything, instead taking some clippers and removing the wire. She tossed it aside and just went to work on her wounds.
A sudden blizzard blew in, cutting off the phone lines and power. Anise looked up at the ceiling light as it flickered several times before going out, their oly source of light was the sun outside that was quickly being covered by both the blizzard and night fall.
