ive preordered mine a long time ago from barnes and nobles. ill get it on the 21st (sadly i wont be joining the midnight party :( ) and will be obsorbed in it untill i read it all. i just hope i dont ruin it. book 5 the spine got broke and i lost the dust over for book 6 and its got stains all along the sides. tho ill admit, i would NOT mind losing the covor for book 7. its just bleh.

wait... i just remembered...mom ordered me the delux edition.... crap. O_O i gotta take super-extra care of that one!!!!

I honestly don't see that much hype, funnily enough. It seems to have been slowly dying down since book 6. Nevertheless I got it preordered as well. Can't wait, though I have to say I didn't enjoy 6 as much as I did the others. Gonna have to reread it again; I forgot everything that happened.

By the way... is this really in need of a sticky? XD

Yes...I think it does. I want to make it clear to everyone not to spoil the story for everyone until it comes out, then use only spoiler tags to discuss certain aspects. I know it's common knowledge that the book won't be coming out in advance even for a review but somewhere someone going to get their hands on the book a week in advance and start blabbing. I don't want this place to spoil the story for anyone, that's all.

my brother hasnt read book 6! if he plan's on reading book 7, he damn well better read book 6! he'll be confused as to what those "THINGS" are and to the you-know-what at the end >_< he said he found that people found book 6 boring so he enver read it. so stupid. yes parts were boring (slughorn's partys) but there was enough moments to keep you on the edge =P
