Yeah, but you never know with Yelan...you get the impression that she can be very manipulative...perhaps, realising that Sakura would get the Clow Cards in the end instead of Li, she wanted to have an ally in the new Card Mistress?

i think another reaction was.....well, you know....Li's sisters are that crazy, glomping Sakura like that....then his mother, whom he always thought of as very.....solemn.....suddenly Kisses Sakura like that. You're sisters are another thing, but you're solemn mother?

A theory of mine, is that the kiss was kind of a thank you to Sakura for making sure that Syaoran is safe

Maybe...even though a lot of the time, Syaoran is the one protecting Sakura. If the kiss was a thankyou, it was probably more likely to be thanking Sakura for restoring Syaoran's emotions to him...you know, breaking through his cold shell?
