African Art

Ando:
Christmas is drawing dangerously near, and I have this relative that I would like to give something different for a change. Now, he has recently developed a fondness for African art, and, wanting to encourage what few cultural interests he has, I were thinking of giving him a book on this.

The problem is, I myself don't know anything about modern African art, so I were wondering if you guys know of any good modern African sculptors (preferably abstract, but I'm thankful for every suggestion)?
