I couldn't agree more! It's like in Inu-Yasha. They pronounce Kagome's name wrong (plus a few others, too lazy to list them all). Sure, it bugs me that they pronounce them a little off but at least they kept the same names!
It would disturb me greatly if they changed Inu-Yasha's name to Steve or something like that....that's just totally wrong. Or ahha, Kagome to Kathy or something!
Woah...disturbing thoughts.

Sakaki:
What about how they say Sakura's name on Cardcraptors?
I'm glad I only watched a few episodes, so I at least have the right pronounciation.

I don't like how they changed Touya to Tori.
What's wrong with Touya?
And yeah, Eriol to Eli.
They took out Nakuru's name all together here in America!
She's just Ruby. In both forms.
Eli Moon and Ruby Moon? What, are they supposed to be related here in America??? What next, Soupy Moon?

Miss Jenni-Maie:
They misspronounce Sakura's name in CC
It's pronounced "SaKURa" in CC
and CCS it's "SAkooRA".

Err...hope that made sense. Does in my head, anyways.

LemonPing:
i tot it sounderd more like sekooo-ra
