By the way, exactly why did Voldemort go after Harry's parents anyway? What made them so special they had to be hidden away?

It wasn't harry's parents that were special. Harry was and of course he was too little to stay away from his parents so they were also hidden. Another reason is that is some one knows where they were then it'll b easy 2 figure out where harry would b.
Voldemort went after harry and he killed harry's parents coz they were trying 2 protect harry.
Haven't u read book 5. If not you need 2 to stay updated.
