because Chrno and Rosette died together. In the manga, I consider it more of a happy ending because Rosette got to meet Chrno for the last time before she died... and even then, we're not sure whether Chrno died with her...

Still, it's all a matter of opinion. I think the manga and anime have both plus points that makes them interesting. So I'd rather not compare them and just enjoy them individually.

You're right...The anime and manga are so different that we can't compare them.For my part the manga is better but I love the anime too

So...Rosette was pretty cute when she was young!Same forĀ  Joshua... :inlove:How could he have forgotten his own sister?!Even so I like him...But Chrno is still the best! :inlove: :inlove:In fact the only one vilain I don't know if like is Aion...He's cool,but...There's something missing in him that makes me hesitate if I can like him... -_-

this was the first anime i ever watched.  frankly, i loved it.  It was my gateway into anime.  I didn't read the manga yet, but sometime i will.

chrno is so adorable (when in sealed form) and so sexy when released!  damn!  hehe

i love azmaria too.  she is a sweetheart.

Chrno just rocks! (and that he has Coud's seiyuu makes him even cooler XD)

I also like Azmaria, Rosette, Satella. Basically all of the main characters, except Aion (the stupid guy got the stupid death he deserved, hehehe ^^)

Satella and Rosette together in one room is always good for a few laughs XD

and Azmaria is really cute and she can be really funny sometimes ^^

okay, i admit that the story of the anime has some serious flaws but i love the anime anyway!!!

^^ No problem...whenever I heard that song "Nobody's Home", it always reminded me of the two. Chrono Crusade was such a sad yet happy anime...at least Chrono and Rosette got to die together....

I love Chrno Crusade - especially the OST. "Sayonara Solitaire" would still be the number 1 on my list though. XD

I was watching this anime in one network here in our country and I was kinda curious on its ending since I knew I could never watch it because of school. So I watched the final episode - and cried unshamefully in the internet cafe the minute I watched the final scene and heard the song. T_________T

hmm... i don't think the ending wasannoying..okay.. it's sad and has a tragic ending.. but i thin i'mkind of contented wiht it.. no cliffhangers and such.. and aion's appearance at the end mad me go 'WOW'
