Blood and Violence

I think the reason we can be attached to blood and violence is because it feels real. Take Saikano, for instance... would you be able to see the horrors that the war has brought if there's no bloodshed involved at any time?
Instinctively, "blood" and "violence" indicate that there WILL be losses (at least that's what they mean to me), and to me, losses are real because I know that no one can possibly walk through life winning everything since that'd be dumb.
On the other hand... I am a mini-Seishirou  :evil4:
