its curious, watenuki has the worst case of denial, and its only cuz he's crushing on himiwari, but its always curious on how he ALWAYS reports to doumeki on the supernatural stuff, even before the eye incident ^^
then you got the almost canoning-serious funny convos, like whenever doumeki says something serious that MAY reveal how he feels, it turns into something that gets a rise out of watenuki XD
IE:
doum: If something [bad] were to happen to you...
watenuki... [fangirls go to the edge of their seat ^^]
doum: i wouldnt have anything to eat for lunch anymore.
watenuki: freaks out and yells with sharp teath etc

Their relationship definately reminds me of Kazahaya and Rikuo, although I'd say Watanuki is far less naive and way more spastic. Doumeki obviously cares about him, Show contentwho would give up part of their eye otherwise? The same could be said about Watanuki, although his selflessness that hurts other people is something that he needs to work on. His fatal kindness kinda reminds me of Subaru in that regard.

hmm. this accured to me on the holic thread on fansub.tv's board...
watenuki has a diferent outlook on his power. he's still afraid of maicious spirits and stuff, but he;s nticing other stuff, that he probably never got the chnce to notice before IE the waves coming off the lder twin in the twins Rc, STUFF LIKE THAT. AS MUCH AS HE "HATES" being around doumeki, im pretty sure, doumeki's preense is alowing watenuki developp the better part of his power., simply by warding off bad spirits.
