Watanuki/Himawari? AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH. Sorry. Even though I don't really SEE CLAMP making Doumeki/Watanuki canon (they practically are anyway), I think it's more plausible than Watanuki/Himawari. I see Yuuko/Himawari happening before Watanuki/Himawari.
But anyway, Doumeki/Watanuki is a really cute pairing, IMO. I love how Yuuko is practically a D/W shipper. I adore Yuuko.

Oooh, I love polls! I voted for the last one. It's got huge amounts of stuff supporting it, but I'm not quite sure if it will ever be made really canon. Maybe it's just that I'm not into it. I like Watanuki, since he's so spaztastic, but also sensitive in a way. Doumeki, on the other hand, bores me half to death. Does he get more interesting past volume 7?
...Yuuko/Himawari would be SO AWESOME. XD They're gorgeous, crazy, and creepy! Not that it would make any sense whatsoever, but it would still be awesome. As far as I'm concerned, XXXHOLiC girls > XXXHOLiC boys.

The first time I read books 1-6 I didn't like Doumeki much, (but I don't think I really read it that thoroughly, only to catch the TRC crossovers). But, when I re-read the series online the second time, to get up-to-date with the current chapters in Japan, I started to like him alot more Show content Especially if you start to believe that Doumeki is totally in love with Watanuki XD If you think about the series in terms of that you get alot more depth and subtext, and you feel sorta sorry for Doumeki.. Makes him much more likeable though, I think..
But yeah, I think I'm just too militant when it comes to shipping~
I'm not sure whether CLAMP would ever make Doumeki/Watanuki canon (same with KuroFai) but you've gotta love Yuuko's teasing Show content 'specially the 'furyou'-ness in chapters 107 & 108 I suppose we'll have to wait and see. *sits back in armchair with some popcorn and a 104 flag*

Yehp, personally I believe that Dou/Wata has a helluva better chance of happening than Watanuki/Himawari, but I'm not completely sure that it'll be made overly obvious :(
Yuuko/Himawari would be so awesome, in a nonsensical and 'why the hell not?' kind of way.
