Before you do Arcademan, let me put my 2 cents on it.
We have this system in my forums called "Awards" once a year. Kai Mizuki uses some examples and we give a specified award after voting ends.

Really. I never heard about that. but also, I just join up this year....what is it about anyway?

Ashlee - The system is simple.
Post an Award - Category.
Users nominate members for that category.
Voting begins (from those nominated)
Tada! Once voting ends the user with the most votes gets the specified award!
