Tevion VHS to DVD Transfer
(1/1)
moezychan:
Starting another help thread :sweatdrop:
Um, this time, for my computer, I have a program that can transfer VHS tapes to DVD's. It's called Tevion. I set it up and it was able to copy the episode from the VCR to the computer. When I tried to burn it, this message came up:
Invalid video size. DVD spec violation - C:\Program Files\TEVION Multimedia\PVR Plus\Burn DVD 3.1\20060521_214211.mpg
If anybody can help me to figure this out I will greatly appreciate it. Also, I will give 2 cookies for this. Thank you in advance. *bows*
D.J.P:
MPG Files used for DVD's have to match the spec of the DVD you are trying to make
(eg: NTSC, 720x480, 30FPS or PAL, 720x576, 25FPS)
That message means that the video file being used does not match the standard.
(Best I can think of anyway)

Ok thank you for telling me. I gave you your cookie. Now I have to figure out how to fix it. :sweatdrop:
D.J.P:
You may have to reencode the video so it matches the right spec for the dvd you are trying to make
try http://www.videohelp.com
lots of guides and software listed there.
BTW: NTSC standard frame rate is 29.97FPS, I forgot there for a minute)

Thank you very much. I appreciate it. I'll give you your next cookie in 5 hours for being so helpful. And since the problem is already solved, I'll lock this thread now.
