I love Naruto & Tsubasa Reservori chroncicle, so I'm happy they are first. But I never heard of Earth Girl Arjuna or Kidou Senshi Gundam Zeta Rebirth. I thought that Full Metal Alchemist, was made a long time ago >_>

okay, i never watched that Gundam or Arjuna anime but unbelievable that TRC and Naruto got such high scores, they don't come close to Full Metal Alchemist in quality but that's what you get with this system......
not the best but the most popular anime wins

but there is no official statement that FMA the anime has ended yet, so i think it still counts

FMA won the Anime of the Year award in 2004. It only needs one more to attain Legendary Status.
Earth Girl Arjuna won because it's a slap in the face for those who watch it. Thought provoking as I would say.
Zeta Gundam got a remake to celebrate 25 years of the series. The first movie is shown last year and the rest this year.
