--- Quote from: Sapphire-Amethyst on August 19 2006, 11:30 pm ---anyway...I rather found it strange that they translated the MKR opening song into Filipino...and didn't want to hear it anymore...now I have to hear it again to know if it was good or not...

'Kami'y narito asahan nyong magtatanggol' Wahahaha!!!!

--- Quote from: Robin Sena on August 19 2006, 11:20 pm ---Anyway. There are two different dubs for MKR
MKR "Old School" - Shown around 1996-1998 (not accurate) the Filipino language used is really "Filipino" no "English" thrown around. Also the main characters names have been changed. The dubbing used here is excellent.
MKR "New School" - Shown last year (2005). Uses Filipino/English combinations and more common Filipino wordings. Names are orginal. But the dubbing sucked.

Reminds me of the time that MKR premiered once again at GMA. and I sulked. They destroyed the anime *literally* T_T
The Old school was waaayyy better than the dubbed version of today... Really, the past people of the Phil. are more talented and great than those of today.. and I feel saddened about that.
Btw, the MKR "New Version" was also shown in GMA about 2001-2002... Just can't remember (Siby may know... It was aired when we were at 4th grade.. Recalling)

Eme-chan: Huh? I think I didn't get to watch the new version...not really sure at all... It's either I don't quite remember what version I watched...or I didn't notice the difference at all...
woof-chan: XD I hope I didn't get you into trouble for almost destroying your monitor...
Robin: I, too, think they didn't cut anything...maybe it's because there's almost nothing rated R-18 or 15 and up when it comes to Yakitate! Japan... :keke:
